Hollywood Zenith-Chapter 653: Surprise-2

Just he exited the vehicle he saw a familiar face sprinting toward him. He was used to seeing Elise running toward him while cheerfully repeating his name but this time a whole group was waiting at the entrance.

" Sami!~" As soon as he saw her running, he prepared himself to bear the brunt of the impact.

" When did you get here?" He skillfully carried her as she wrapped her legs around him giving him a big hug.

Before even answering him, she planted a kiss on his lips going deep inside his mouth. Just from that he could feel how much she missed him. It's like she was like a hungry cat finally having a meal after a long while.

" Kayla, I think that's enough!" Mayra came and tried to peel her away but she was just too strong for her.

" It's fine, she is not that heavy."

" But-" Mayra looked back and saw Adele and Iblis throwing daggers through their eyes. They were clearly not happy with the new lady in town. Mayra was just trying to play a diplomat, trying to hold everything together.

" Come on, you guys had him for days. It's mine turn now." She rested her head on his shoulder and said in a cheeky tone only upsetting the other party further. Samuel tried to laugh it off but he knew there would be few rough days ahead of him. Once they got to know each other, it would come back to normal. At least that's what he hoped for.

" Sami~" Elise who had been standing there waiting for her turn signalled Samuel to pick her up with open arms.

" Of course, how can I forget my princess?" He scooped her up with one arm. It was getting a little cramped but Kayla made some room for the little girl.

" Let's go inside first. Have you already eaten?" Mayra tried to change the topic as they walked inside.

" Yeah, I had some at Kate's place. I could go for a cup of coffee thougḥ."

" Kate huh? Why do I feel like I am hearing that name for the first time? I mean, I heard about Liliana, Rosaline, Maia and others especially these two lovely ladies but never Kate." Kayla asked curiously. She just arrived this morning and didn't know the details.

" I will tell you some other time."

" Why? Is she your date for the movie premiere? I heard that was yesterday. I can't believe you guys let him go alone." Kayla sat down beside Samuel still resting her body against him looking at Adele and Iblis who still had messy bed hair. Mayra had already went inside to prepare his coffee so that question was cleary at those two.

" It's not like we had a choice. He practically begged us not to go but he went around taking others with him." Iblis said with a grumpy voice.

" Elise, can I sit here?" Adele on the other hand didn't care about it. She was more worried with the dilemma of somehow making room along Samuel's other side. She was bargaining with the little girl who didn't seem much interested in switching seat.

" Come here." Samuel picked Elise up and placed her on his lap making some space for Adele who swiftly took the spot. She even hugged him from the side just for good measure. Kayla seeing it happen did the same.

Just then, Mayra came with coffee and saw him sandwiched between three of them. She could tell how uncomfortable he was feeling and just placed the cup in front of him.

" Ladies, I love you and all but how am I going to use my hand if you grip them this tightly." He said with a difficult face.

" I was here first." Kayla simply refused to budge.

" I don't care. Tell her to move." Adele was as stubborn as her. Samuel was left looking at his coffee getting colder by second. He didn't know what to do when Mayra finally decided to help him. freewёbn૦νeɭ.com

" Kayla, didn't you say you haven't slept since yesterday? Why don't you go and take a dip in the pool to relax before going to bed?"

" I can show her the way." Iblis surprisingly offered to help. It was strange because normally, Samuel expected more jealousy from her not Adele but it seemed like they switched places this morning.

" It doesn't sound bad but-" Kayla looked at Samuel debating whether to leave him or not.

" Just go and take good rest. I am sure you have seen the place already, it's nice to skinny dip in the morning surrounded by nature." He also urged her. Her face looked rougher than he remembered probably because she had been busy with her police work. He felt a little sorry for her because some of it was his fault to begin with.

" You will be here when I come back right?"

" Of course."

She finally left with Iblis. Right as Adele relaxed a bit, Mayra quickly took Kayla spot. It was like she planned everything from the beginning and came out on top!

" I see your cheekiness has no bounds, tricking your own wife that's low even for you."

" What can I say? I missed you a lot beside, she will cool down a lot after that cold dip in the pool."

" You mean-"

" It's winter, why would any of us what to have cold plunge in winter?" Mayra chuckled. Her plan was more sinister than he expected.

" Wouldn't she notice it?" Adele who has been hearing their conversation asked.

" I know her better than anyone else. She usually just jump in the pool like a little kid. We would soon be-"

" MOTHERFUCKER!" Right on cue they heard her cursing at the top of her lungs and started laughing hysterically. They were talking and laughing when Samuel saw, Hannah came downstairs while rubbing her eye. Kayla's scream might have woken her up.

" Who was that?" She said in her sleepy voice.

" Kayla, I guess you haven't met yet." Samuel said. Hannah blinked for a second before getting overwhelmed by one single thought so much so that her sleepiness vanished.

" Another one!" She screamed in her mind thinking that she completely failed her mission!
