Talia went inside Samara was very kind and showed her around which really and everything amazed her.

What was above the ground was just the tip of the iceberg, the whole mountain was carved out to make space for all their different facilities from R&D sites to training ground, there were also dedicated departments for information gathering as well as nice residential area which was underground for people to live in.

Ariel followed them with a blank expression on her face. She saw how well her colleagues interacted with newcomer Talia which almost made her gag. These were sure were her master's creation inheriting her deceiving personality to the maximum.

She didn't understand why her master was being like this with Talia, pushing her into a fall sense of security when she could simply order her around like a slave because of their contract.

"This is the place you will be staying at. It's right next to Ariel and my other students, they will be your sisters. I have five students and you will be the sixth if you can pass my test." Samara said with a smile.

"I will try my best."

"I know you will. I have seen details of your mission, excluding your last one you executed other with precision and efficiency which is rare even in this place." She got closer putting her hand on Talia's shoulder.

Talis felt her muscles being squeezed like she was being inspected, Samara moved her hand around to her various body parts and nodded.

"Everything looks great but take the night off. We will start the ritual tomorrow morning so take proper rest."

Talia was weired out but composed her herself to ask more about the ritual. Samara's gaze faulter a but before she smiled gently telling her everything will be revealed the next day.

Ariel thought she was free to go to but her mater told her to follow her. Talia saw them leave and was confused.

On one hand, the atmosphere of this place was good and everyone was nice to her instead of giving her jealous look like her previous work place but she didn't want to accept that she could live a happy life away from her mentor...away from him.

But since it was done, she wanted to give her best and not bring shame upon her mentor's name. Maybe she would become a powerful fighter to rise up the ranks to meet them butbshe didn't know of he would even remember her by that time.

She went inside didn't noticing a group of girls watching her every move from the shadows.

"Don't tell me that is her? She didn't even notice us?"

"Maybe she is home sick. I heard she is here because of punishment and doesn't really know what goes around here."

"Isn't that obvious? Seeing how easily she was deceived gives me ample reason that she will not survive the ritual."

"That's right but it's been sometime since Ariel brought someone interesting to our place. I heard she is related to her."

"Impossible! Wait, I can see they have similar body types but other than that I don't see her move with same grace as Ariel. Don't forget, she is the ultimate weapon of our master, only our master could defeat her."

"Maybe we will have another Ariel in the mix. She might have the same genetics to resist the supreme poison."

"No, she is way past the age. I could only imagine what it will do to her body. Master is really cruel sometimes."

"Shhh....don't say these kind of things here. Even walls have ear here."

"I know."

The four girls were the four student of Samara, survivor aming the thousands she sacrificed through the rituals. It couldn't be helped that only female of special body types could properly bond with her supreme poison.

This particular strand was so lethal that it could kill a person in minutes given enough dose and could cause paralysis just from a touch.

Samara had to work tirelessly to configure the dosages to give to her surviving students and any mistake would be fatal, she lost hundreds of such individuals to perfect her method.

"What to do think of her?" Samara asked walking alongside Ariel.

"Talia? Naive. She still has hope to return home, I can see it in her eyes."

"Maybe, but I have learn one thing after so many years. Fear is not the best motivator for someone going through the ritual, I wanted her to feel like home, giving her love and warmth so that she wouldn't be scared during the ritual tomorrow. You haven't divulge anything to her right?" Samara stared at her with cold eyes but Ariel held her gaze. By now she was used to it knowing it wa her master's way of telling if she was lying to her.

But for Ariel there was no reason to lie. Samara who had raised her knew her tiniest quirks but more than that even now, she doesn't trust anyone not even her most treasured pupil.

"She did ask about that boy. I said somethings but nothing that should concern you or her."

"Are you sure? You have a habit of scaring people with your words." Samara faced away sighing heavily. This has been a tough week for her. She spend the whole day yesterday to make the special serum for Talia, her only wish was to see it succeed so there should be no accidents.

"About that boy, why don't we-"

"No, with the defeat of my second sister, it's in our best interest to find more about him. She is still not talking to me so after the ritual, I will personally go and see her."

"She failed to kill a single person and even left behind valuable information and weapons for them to research. This is most humiliating defeat in recent years."

"I could have took him down. He was defenseless and weak-"

"That's where you are wrong. I have seen the security footage from your car. He already had an inkling who you were from the start, it explains his rash escape."

"Even then, if he is dead none of it have mattered." Ariel remained convinced but Samara only shook her head.

A enemy with hidden methods to neutralize their poison was their mortal enemy. Samara was sure they would face again but this time, she will make sure he understood why their clan was so feared globally.
