I presume your intelligence can’t possibly not know this." After slightly regaining his senses, Lupin chose to stand on the little wizard’s side, seeing as he would only communicate things with Albus Dumbledore.
Regardless of whether the little wizard had ambition or intentions, the involvement of these Slytherin College guys should definitely be avoided, otherwise, it certainly would not be good for most people—Lupin had deep-set prejudices against Theodore Greengrass, perhaps rooted in the conflicts from his youth.
And Theodore Greengrass evidently also held an unfavorable view of Lupin.
"Some matters are beyond the understanding of you and your few pig-headed friends, Lupin. After so many years, you’re still that self-assured obnoxious figure."

Theodore Greengrass’s words were steady and powerful, carrying the unique voice of a mature man as he stated opinions completely contrary to the mainstream beliefs of many little wizards today.
