Chapter 155: Lady Ira caught!

In the evening, Priest was sitting on the bed alone with Dominic. With a lot of dismay, Prince Dominic hadn’t even shown the sign of getting up.

As the tension built up among the members of the castle, King Vilas was currently standing in the corner with his brown eyes and the evident frown that rested on his face like never before.

"You said that if he doesn’t wake up till today...chances..."

"I said that, but he is recovering. We don’t know why he is not waking up. However, Prince Dominic’s body temperature has been lowered, King Vilas." The priest told King Vilas honestly and this made Vilas a bit worried.

"So...what do you mean to say?"

"I mean, Prince DOMINIC can’t wake up tomorrow, that isn’t an issue until his temperature lowers. That will make us sure that the same temperature and fever isn’t going up to his brain or doing any damage either." the priest said and then, he rotated his head to look at the silent laid Dominic.

His paleness had decreased over time. Even the glow that had been forgotten earlier, is now coming back. His lips’ color had been decided to white, is still showing a tinge of redness in them,

Hearing the priest’s words, a sigh of relief washed over King Vilas’s shoulders "I’m glad. Please make sure that he gets up by tomorrow. Lying in this state isn’t good either. We can’t afford that."

"I will try my best, His highness." The priest answered without sparing His highness any glance either. "Have you found any suspicious things around him which made this condition of Prince Dominic?"

"We haven’t." King Vilas said, since he remembered, he asked the soldiers to find nothing. Moreover, the sudden Detroit of his health wasn’t giving them any hint. Until now, all they knew was that he was experiencing fever and probably, because of the change in the temperature and the nature.

Yet this doesn’t fit with the theory of what King Vilas felt. "Let us get Dominic to wake up so that he can tell us about it."

"I’m sure Prince Dominic isn’t himself aware. We couldn’t forget how he had thrown up blood like never before." the priest answered and this made King Vilas’s lip turn into a straight line.

He didn’t show any comment but left it in the middle to not let this topic trade anymore right now. Afterward, both King Vilas and Priest all together, and the room was guarded by the guards. There were two guards who were made to stay outside the chamber and one keeper inside the chamber of the prince.

As the night dwelled, even more, everyone had left their hopes with the fact that prince Dominic will wake up tomorrow. However, there was something else written in his destiny for the night.

The lamps were listed in the lobbies of the castle when a soldier came in front of the chamber’s door of the prince to look and gaze at the two other soldiers. "Hey you, Priest has called you along with the keeper to him. Pay a visit to him immediately."

The other soldiers looked bewildered, "The priest has called me? I have strict commands and orders that I can’t move from my place. My sole aim is to guard the chamber."

"You aren’t called but the keeper is. The priest wants to instruct the keeper about some herbs. Pay a visit and take the keeper along with you." The soldier said, and they made one of the soldiers kind of nervous.

He knew that the strict order ways to obey and to make sure that prince Dominic was safe. But on the second note, he thought that going for a few minutes will not tackle further problems either.

The Soldier looked at his other soldier, who was now in charge of guarding the place. "Guard the space until I bring the keeper back with me." Both the soldiers nodded their heads and the keeper and the informed soldier left the palace.

Right now, there was only one soldier who stood there while tugging his sword and stood straight, raised, and puffed shoulders and a high chin.

But from the shadow of the pillars, there comes lady Ira. She had worn a white-blue colored floral dress. Her shawl wrapped around her hands and shoulders. Her eyes were still looking in his direction, holding with undefined mist.

Reaching up the entrance of the chamber, she spared the leftover soldier a glance before stepping in, "Make sure no one enters until I come out."

"I will make sure, lady. Please, do your work quickly." The other side told her silently, without showing his emotions. He didn’t look in Ira’s direction, but it didn’t impact her movie.

She simply walked inside the chamber and heard the door behind her being closed.

At this point, her heart rammed inside her body. There was no way that she would be far west and under the dim light falling inside from the window, she knew the moon was up the sky-high.

But then, she walked directly near the bed to see prince Dominic lying on the bed. His eyes were all closed, him being depleted into the sleeping posture. He had no idea what was around him at all.

"I heard that your temperature has reduced. Is it true?" Suddenly, lady Ira asked, only to get silence as the response. A smirk pulled down her lips, when her eyes curved into the crystal moon, "Such a sad thing that you will not be able to see many days anymore, Dominic."

"How good it would have been if you were born as my son...not as Barcels’s son.." She can’t help but mumble under her breath, but the entity will end when she will remove his presence from this Kingdom ultimately.

From inside her shawl, Lady Ira brought her hand forward. She looked at the small needle present in her hand that was all sharp. Its pointed edges were more than enough to inject what she wanted.

Her eyes looked at the needle with proudest before she took a few steps ahead to finally come near DOMINIC and bring the needle near his neck.

Her hands didn’t temple, but she was ready to inject a needle into his skin until her eyes caught the sight of the most horrific thing.

"Y-You...You..are..."

"Lady Ira...you will never behave...."
