His Witch Queen-Chapter 116: No exception!
"Queen Elizabeth?" Alice once again asked with the little bit of curiosity that had already resided in her heart. "Why did she give you this? Although it is still beautiful.."
"As I told you, I had completed my few years in the Gazelle Kingdom. It was because of the same, lady Ashley had kept a small celebration for the same. On the same occasion, the Queen had gifted me these gold bangles." Lady Aura had told Alice happily.
At the same time, Alice only noted how happy she appeared to be. Even when she gazed at those bangles, if, they captured her heart thousands of times. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
But to avoid suspicion in her head, Alice had to finally answer back, "That is very nice of her..."

Coming back to reality, Alice had finally opened her eyes to find that Cyrus had a complicated look on his face. He wasn’t able to overcome what she had told him just now. In fact, in his eyes, it might not make sense too.
"This is the ultimate truth. This bangle is given by Queen Elizabeth. So you can know that if it has the poison on it, who had done it to lady Aura." Princess Alice stated her wordings with the evidence too.
On the other hand, Cyrus’s lips were set into a straight line before he had passed her the nod too. However, being the Prince, he knew that there were thousands of questions that might be raised too. "But isn’t it possible that someone else used the bangle to frame Queen Elizabeth?"
"Do you trust our Queen?" Alice can’t help but ask.
"I have absolutely no trust in that lady. She is malicious and clever. But I’m asking these questions from you because if we raise our voice anywhere else, these questions will be normally asked from us." Cyrus’s words entered Alice’s brain to make her understand that it was all kind of true too.
If she went ahead to speak the truth, everyone would be surprised by their doubts. And it was a prominent thing...which Queen Elizabeth will deny from her account.
"If someone else was trying to frame Queen ELIZABETH, then I’m sure that Queen Elizabeth’s maids and her own hands must not be tainted with the purple pigment." Alice’s speech made Cyrus raise his eyebrows. "Purple pigment? What is it?"
"Something which mostly everyone uses to avoid the poison spreading to the other’s body. If Queen Elizabeth is responsible for the same, she might not have done it by herself. Rather, she must have used some local maid to her advantage and asked her to use it." Alice told him.
She knew that Queen Elizabeth was someone who carried high self-esteem. She would probably never dirty her hands into such a word.
But that does not conclude that her mind wasn’t behind this incident.
At the same time, Cyrus had to think twice about what she told him. Subconsciously, he had brought his hands near his head to blink his eyes to say out loud, "How can we know which maid did she use.."
"Isn’t it easy? being the prince of the Kingdom, you have the power to call everyone, and.. their hands get checked. Use the black tinned water, and put it on every maid’s hand to see if they turn green or not."
Alice knew the chemicals and herbs too well to even illustrate them. Since her father and brother pressured her to get the details about the chemical that is the natural ingredient in their nature that will heal, her sight of owning such a thing was really sharp.
In fact, her idea struck Cyrus, who had his eyes widened, "Y-you..are correct. We can use tinned water to do it..."
"Yes, and whosoever hands are turning into green, we already know she is behind and culprit too," Alice answered and told him openly when a small smirk had raced her lips.
"Then....what are we waiting for.."

Prince Cyrus had directly gone to King Almen to ask for his permission and asked for his presence too. Since the King was least interested and occupied too, he had given the same opportunity to Prince Cyrus to know and find the culprit behind the incident.
Having the same power in his own hands, Cyrus had already made his mind. Without the delay, he had called all the vampires in the court, and everyone was already alarmed.
The news of the Lady being poisoned already reached their ears and it made most of them feel as if, their heart was racing up.
In fact, if it is in their hands they won’t even have chosen to arrive in the courtroom today since who knows, the culprit is roaming around so early that it might trigger their lives too behind the same.
When the gentlemen and everyone were settled on their respective seats, the ladies arrived on the balcony above the court chamber.
The courtroom had a balcony-like place above its head, where the curtain was used to shield. Behind those curtains, the ladies could stand, hear and see the events. The transparent curtain separated them but no resistance was raised.
Whereas, Alice had arrived along with Lady Ashley. Lady Sierra and Lady Tia also showed up, but with the same attitude of aloofness.
But Queen Elizabeth was the last one to arrive. Without having any clue what the reason for today’s court hearing was, she was taken back.
Rotating her head, the Queen looked at her personal maids to whisper into their ears,"Why is there court today? and where is the King?"
"It is said that the King will join shortly. Till that time, Prince Cyrus is addressing the courtroom."
Hearing this, the lady’s mind blew up but she had still maintained the same. A narrow glint had passed from her eyes but she had taken a deep breath to not let herself be drawn into the deep sea of sorrow either.
Keeping her chin high, she was staring below from the balcony whereas Alice’s eyes caught the sight of the Queen being overconfident and mostly clueless.
A faint smile had curved on her lips but she had hidden them before shifting her eyes again at Cyrus, who was standing among everyone.
Standing in the middle of everyone, Cyrus coughed a bit to gain their attention when his eyes were traced to see everyone there out. "This court hearing is called today, in response to what happened today with the lady Aura, the wife of King Almen."
"She was poisoned by someone and we still have no idea yet who is behind such a big mistake. The poison has spread in the body. However, fortunately, we are thankful that nothing major happened. She was given the medical guidance of the priest very soon and is currently in recovery mode for now with mixing other blood and the herbs."
Cyrus’s explanation had somehow made everyone sigh to escape. He knew that many of them were all jolted back, alarmed and curious while being in the room.
Yet while describing that Lady Aura’s conditions and much complicated too as others complicated it to be, he knew that they all were already relaxed in their minds.
But at the same time, he had dropped another bomb which made others disbelieve. "So to find the culprit, King Almen had given the power to me. To find the culprit and I will not deal with this matter like others."
"And in respect to the same, I want all the ladies, as well as the maids of the entire castle to arrive in the courtroom and stand in the lane."
It wasn’t the simple suggestion but the order.
While they all jolted back, some were confused, doubtful, happy, neutral, and angry.
The mixed reactions were covered, and hearing the response, Lady Ashley looked at Alice who stood beside her, "What is Cyrus even trying to do?"
"You will find that very soon, lady. It is what we all want, so please.." Alice only gave a bit of insight and Ashley had no further reason to revolt either
Knowing Cyrus too well, she knew that he won’t do such a big thing without some plan bewitched in his mind.
Without the delay, Queen, Lady Sierra, Lady Tia, and Lady Ashley came along with Princess Alice.
At the same time, Sharon had also shown up with her mixed eye.
Most of them are already feeling that something major was going to happen otherwise, he wouldn’t have initiated such a step either.
