His soul-Chapter 465: Julian knows Diego’s evil plan
During the meeting, Gina kept squeezing her own left wrist, which she did to contain her turbulent emotions. Gina didn’t listen to Diego and Mrs Isabel’s important chatter at all.
"Massimo.. Meeting.. RedFox.. Ivana.. Both of them..."
The words kept replaying in Gina’s mind, if Gina hadn’t seen it in person, she probably wouldn’t have believed Massimo would go with Ivana. But because Gina saw it with her own eyes, she couldn’t help but believe, even though she only saw from the side briefly when the two of them came out of the closed VIP room, Gina could guess well that the man was Massimo, her husband. Moreover, at first glance Gina also saw Darius at the side door of the restaurant, standing beside the car waiting for Massimo to come out. Gina’s heart seemed to be squeezing seeing everything that happened so fast, her concentration to attend the meeting properly with Diego was broken.
Diego was able to read all the changes in Gina’s emotions well, although he didn’t know what caused Gina to be like that, but Diego decided not to bother her. At least not for now when he had to concentrate on the partner who was presenting him.
When he faintly heard Gina’s breathing was getting heavier suddenly Diego lowered his hand under the table to Gina’s thigh and squeezed Gina’s hands which were already tightly clenched, suddenly Gina immediately raised her face towards Diego.
"It’s ok... don’t be nervous," Diego whispered softly.
Gina blinked her eyes trying to digest the sentence Diego just said, the last smile that Diego gave finally made Gina realize that at this moment Diego thought she was nervous because she met a famous interior designer. So grateful. Luckily Diego didn’t see what she saw earlier.
A small nod from Gina made Diego remove his hand from Gina’s and return to focus on Mrs. Isabel who was explaining some of her plans if her company got a project from Diego as the party that handled all the displays in the Sanders family’s two new hotels which were in the process of a major renovation.
The smiles on Diego’s and Isabel’s faces finally signaled the end of the tough meeting. Diego, who was satisfied with all of Mrs. Isabel’s explanations, finally decided to accept the offer after feeling that it matched the price stated by Mrs. Isabel earlier.
"See you at the office tomorrow morning Mr. Sanders," said Mrs. Isabel quietly as she shook Diego’s hand.
"Okay, madam. I await your arrival and the team at the office," Diego replied politely.
Mrs. Isabel smiled again, after she finished shaking hands with Diego, the middle-aged British woman then shook Gina’s hand gently. Luckily before the meeting ended, Gina had calmed down so she could follow the meeting well even though she had left behind many important things beforehand.
A wave of Mrs. Isabel’s hand made Diego and Gina smile at the same time, they then sat back in their seats after the car carrying Mrs. Isabel left the restaurant.
"It’s not difficult, is it?"
Gina nodded slowly. "I need to learn a lot from you, bro."
Diego smiled, he slowly grabbed his coffee cup from the table and took a sip until it was almost empty before returning his attention to Gina who had not touched the drink or food that had been ordered earlier.
"What’s bothering you, Gina?" Diego asked quietly suddenly.
The last question from Diego succeeded in making Gina’s eyes rounded perfectly. "I’m just confused and feel stupid for not being able to help much when you’re negotiating the price with Mrs. Isabel," Gina answered lying, of course Gina would lie. She was still sane enough not to tell Diego what she had just seen, Gina didn’t want to make matters worse. Gina felt she could still work things out on her own with Massimo.
Gina’s words succeeded in making Diego laugh out loud, several other restaurant visitors even had time to turn to Diego because they were a little disturbed. Realizing this, Gina immediately touched Diego’s hand, warning him not to laugh so loudly.
"Sorry.. sorry I missed it," Diego said quietly. "You’re too cute Gina."
"Cute? What did I do?" asked Gina in confusion.
"You know, everyone who is good at something must start from someone who doesn’t know anything. Likewise, you don’t know how to negotiate when setting prices, so don’t feel like you’re stupid. Everything takes time and time will make you more skilled at doing all this, I used to need a lot of time to study too, Gina."
Gina tightened her grip on the teacup currently in her hand. "Then you wouldn’t mind teaching me, would you?"
Diego smiled, his hand slowly touched Gina’s head gently. "Of course Gina, you must immediately master all the things I’m working on. Sooner or later Daddy will definitely retire from all this busyness, that’s why you have to accompany me to run the company. I can’t give that much trust to other people when there are members. My family can take care of it."
"Thanks for trusting me," Gina replied shyly.
"It should be, remember Gina we are family so don’t be shy. In the future you can depend on me for your life if you want..."
"Eh?"
Diego pursed his lips. "No, let’s not talk about it anymore. You better eat your food, you haven’t touched anything since. I don’t want Massimo to be angry with me for starving you, your husband is a terrible person. doesn’t give him a chance to blame me again like before."
Gina chose to drink her tea straight away to divert the conversation, she wasn’t in a good mood to talk about Massimo. Gina didn’t want to hurt her heart even more if she had to remember what Massimo did to Ivana, whereas earlier when they were in Almeria Massimo had strictly forbidden Gina to get too close to Ivana because Massimo said the girl had bad intentions. But what had she just seen an hour ago? Was it true that Massimo should do something like that to Ivana out in the open like this after saying that he was in the office taking care of an important matter. Gina was completely ripped off by Massimo.
Since Gina was focused on her food, Diego chose not to talk to her, Diego decided not to be in such a hurry. He wanted to get Gina closer to him slowly. Because there was an important call from Mr. Xavier, Diego finally returned to focus on his own world, returning to work in front of the tablet which had always been on standby on the table.
Seeing Diego who was very busy made Gina smile wryly, her age and Diego were not much different but she was far behind Diego who was very good at taking care of all the work. Gina’s determination to study was getting bigger, the words Diego had said earlier bothered her. Before her father retires, her abilities must be on a par with Diego’s.

"Miss Gina is currently with Diego seeing Mrs. Isabel, sir," Charlie said quietly to Julian who was carefully correcting the will he had made last night.
Julian looked up. "Mrs. Isabel?"
"She is an interior designer, sir. Several hotels in Dubai have used her services, which is why Diego made an appointment with that British woman, sir."
"So Diego has started asking Gina to do a lot of important things now?"
"Yes sir, Miss Gina also looks very excited when Diego is invited to take care of a project in Paris."
Julian smiled. "The boy’s spirit is really impressive, his curiosity is really very big. Don’t make any moves, Martin. Let Diego continue to teach Gina the important things she must master, sooner or later Gina will take my place."
Charlie nodded slowly in response to his master’s words, as one of the people who knew Julian very well inside and out Charlie knew what Julian’s real purpose was to let Gina continue to study with Diego. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
"And for this will, I’m quite satisfied with its contents. After I signed the letter, immediately take this letter to Switzerland, keep this file with Daddy’s," said Julian seriously, after learning about Diego’s attempt to break into the safe at Julian’s Swiss bank. become more alert. He was really very careful in dealing with Diego, Julian didn’t want Diego to suspect that he already knew what Diego and Vanessa had been doing for the last five years. "If Diego and Vanessa can play the act why can’t I," Julian muttered under his breath without realizing it.
"But you have to be careful, sir. Diego is very smart and cunning, Diego is currently holding some important projects so you shouldn’t make him suspicious." Charlie immediately gave Julian a warning.
Julian nodded slowly. "I know Charlie, thanks for reminding me."
Because this afternoon Charlie had to fly to Switzerland, Julian finally put his signature on the will he had corrected earlier, Julian’s heart beat a little faster as he put his signature on the company seal. In the will it was clearly written that Gina would be the main heir to the Sanders family, followed by Selena and Rosa as the next heirs. The distribution of the inheritance given by Julian to his three daughters is quite fair, in this will Julian gives 30% to each of his daughters and Diego will only get 10%. Julian purposely divided his inheritance fairly among his three daughters after knowing that his late parents gave all of their property to Gina without exception, therefore currently Julian was dividing his share fairly for his daughters.
After Julian had finished signing his autographs, Charlie immediately tidied up the important files and put them in a suitcase to take with him to Switzerland. Not long after Charlie left Julian got up from his chair and stood by the big window overlooking the city of Barcelona, Julian would have stood for quite a while in his favorite place. When he finds out that Diego is still trying to cheat him, Julian decides to use a subtle way to deal with his stepson. Julian will pretend to support all the policies that Diego takes so that Diego does not suspect Julian would rather lose a little money at this time than have to let the Sanders family inheritance fall into his hands. That’s why Julian always coordinates with Charlie in silence to monitor all of Diego’s movements.
Julian who still doesn’t fully believe in Massimo even refuses his son-in-law’s help, Julian still can’t trust Massimo 100%. Because of that Julian openly refused Massimo’s help to take care of Diego, Julian even pretended to dislike Massimo who had bad mouthed Diego. Julian was more willing to be judged stupid by Massimo than to involve Massimo in his family matters.
"Just be patient, Gina, Daddy is getting everything ready for you. Daddy will pay off my promise to your mom."
