His soul-Chapter 43: Patrick’s suspicions
Gina smiled at her grandmother’s words, everyone in front of her was really very funny. Gina feels like a villain right now, even though they are all real criminals who have made her and her mother suffer for years.
"I’m sorry madam, once again I emphasize here. I am not part of this family, how could a child whose birth was not wanted suddenly become part of this respectable family. And this is what upsets Gina, especially her half-siblings and the first son of the Sanders family. Argghhh....everyone really makes Gina sick and hungry. Damn. "No, that girl is not my sister. I only have two siblings, Selena and Diego," said Rosa hysterically.
Vanessa who was sitting next to Julian immediately got up and rushed over to her two daughters, when she arrived in front of the princess suddenly the woman grabbed each of her daughter’s hands.
"Gina is Daddy’s first child with his first wife, so you can’t help but admit it. Here Mommy is also guilty of making Gina born without her father, Mommy should have refused when she was paired with your Daddy so that this kind of thing would not happen," said Vanessa. hoarse with teary eyes.
"What nonsense are you saying, Vanessa!!" Yohanes Sanders rebuked loudly.

That’s why I asked Daddy to bring Gina to live with us, at least with that her mother won’t be sad up there because we take care of her daughter." Vanessa wiped her tears with her hands and went straight to her father-in-law. "I don’t want to continue to be branded as someone’s husband snatcher, Daddy. So I beg you to please bring Gina home to live with us, I have to pay for all the wounds Sandra has suffered so far by taking good care of her daughter."
Yohanes burst into laughter at the daughter-in-law’s words, as did Barbara, who had been looking very sad when Gina left.
"As Mommy said before, I also want to atone for my guilt towards the late Sandra, Dad. So please, take her daughter home. Let me take care of her like I take care of my own children," Vanessa said again.
Barbara, who couldn’t hold herself back, immediately approached Vanessa and hugged her tightly, Vanessa immediately cried until she sobbed in her mother-in-law’s arms, making everyone silent. Yohanes’s anger because of Gina’s impudent attitude slowly disappeared because he saw the cries of his wife and daughter-in-law in front of his eyes.
Julian himself was only able to lower his face deeper, he really felt useless being a man. If he had even the slightest bit of courage to go against his father maybe this kind of thing wouldn’t have happened, maybe there wouldn’t have been so many people hurt because of his actions.
When everyone was lost in their own thoughts after hearing Vanessa’s request that Gina be brought home, Patrick was the only one who was still thinking hard, he felt a little strange with Vanessa. More than 18 years of knowing his best friend’s wife made Patrick believe there was something Vanessa was hiding because of her request to Yohanes Sanders to bring Gina home, Patrick knew what kind of woman Vanessa was. Julian used to often argue with Vanessa when Julian mentioned Sandra, so it was strange that suddenly a jealous woman who really hated her husband’s first wife wanted to take care of a child from a woman she hated so much.
"What game are you playing, Vanessa?" Patrick thought to himself, his eyes still staring intently at Vanessa who was still sobbing in her mother-in-law’s arms.
