Chapter 412: The spy

Gina was speechless when she met a woman who was very familiar to her, a middle-aged woman who had served her for months while living in her family’s house.

"T-Teresa, it’s you?"

Daisy the butler who uses the name Teresa when carrying out the task that Massimo gave her six years ago immediately pales when she meets Gina, the Miss Sanders who is now Massimo’s wife.

"Answer me, Teresa. You really are the Teresa I know, aren’t you?" Gina asked again in a quivering voice, the lingering drowsiness that lingered on instantly when she saw Teresa again.

Realizing that she couldn’t avoid it, Daisy then asked the three young waiters who were setting the food on the table for breakfast to leave her and Gina immediately. After the three subordinates left, Daisy walked slowly towards the stairs where Gina was still standing in the middle of the stairs.

"Good morning, madam," Daisy greeted politely, bowing her head.

Gina shook her head quickly. "No, this is not what I wanted."

Daisy smiled. "Come with me, madam. I’ll explain everything to you," said Daisy quietly, her right hand stretched out to ask Gina to come down.

Gina, who was very surprised, could only obediently follow Daisy’s orders, slightly lifting her nightgown. Gina walked behind Daisy to the sofa in the living room.

At first Daisy didn’t want to sit down, but because Gina forced her, she finally got up the courage to sit on the sofa Martin usually used to sit on when reporting to Massimo.

"First I want to apologize to you, madam," said Daisy slowly starting the conversation.

"No, please don’t be so formal like this. I don’t like it."

"But you are now..."

Gina immediately raised her hand in the air. "Please, don’t. I’m not used to it, but now answer my question. Why are you in this house, being the butler of Massimo’s?"

"I’ve been working for Mr Massimo from the start, madam."

"W-wait... please explain slowly, I still don’t understand."

Daisy smiled sincerely at Gina, after taking a deep breath she slowly told Gina everything. As Daisy spoke, Gina repeatedly covered her mouth with her hands. She couldn’t believe the maid who used to work in her family’s house was a spy, Massimo had been assigned to watch over her family. The maid who often used to complain about her annoyance towards Massimo turned out to be one of Massimo’s men, Gina actually looked very shocked.

"I’m just doing my job, madam. I’m sorry," said Daisy slowly closing her explanation.

"S-so your name is Daisy, isn’t it Teresa?" stammered Gina.

"Yes, madam. Teresa was my pseudonym when carrying out Master’s errands."

"Then tell me about your family..."

"That’s part of my mission, madam."

Gina bit her lower lip hard to hold back the emotions that were already churning in her chest. "So you’re not a woman who was betrayed by her husband like you used to tell me?"

Daisy shook her head slowly. "My husband died twenty years ago in an accident, madam."

"Jesus!" screamed Gina spontaneously.

"Mr Massimo was the one who saved me from the street at that time, madam. That’s why I was able to work with him as a servant," added Daisy again.

Gina moistened her dry lips with her tongue hearing Daisy’s words, the tragic story that Daisy had just told made all the anger that was ready to explode suddenly disappear without a trace.

"Then why did you disguise yourself as a maid at my family’s house then?"

"I have to make sure I don’t choose the wrong wife, that’s why I ordered Daisy to be a servant in your family’s house," said Massimo suddenly.

Gina and Daisy looked at the same time towards the source of the sound, where Massimo was already standing in the middle of the stairs in his night robe.

"Daisy is innocent, she’s just doing her job on my orders," added Massimo again.

Daisy lowered her head to hear the words of the master, she felt guilty because her whereabouts could be known by the mistress. Whereas all this time Massimo had always advised her to be careful so that Gina would not find out about her.

"So Teresa and Daisy you assigned to watch all my movements?" Gina asked coldly of Massimo who was walking towards her and Daisy.

Massimo nodded slowly. "That’s the logic, even if it deviates a bit from the original plan."

"What do you mean to deviate from the original plan?" Gina quickly repeated Massimo’s words.

Massimo chuckled amusedly, using one hand Massimo gave orders to Daisy to leave him and Gina.

As soon as Daisy left Massimo grabbed Gina’s face and lifted her up. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

"Daisy works at your house to monitor the movements of Selena, your sister who was originally going to be given to me by Yohanes Sanders. But since you arrived at the house, I have changed her job. I asked her to serve you, serve Georgina Sanders who I chose to be my woman," said Massimo at length, the smell of fresh mint coming out of Massimo’s mouth. One of his good habits from the past is always brushing his teeth every time he wakes up, so that when he talks to Gina like now he feels very confident.

"I’m serious, no kidding Massimo!" said Gina annoyed.

"I’m very serious, for God’s sake. I asked Daisy to focus on you, especially since you got hurt because of Vanessa."

Gina shook her head in disbelief at what Massimo had just said.

"So don’t be angry with Daisy. She is innocent, if you want to be angry then just be angry with me. But I’m sure you won’t be angry with me, you really love me. How could you be angry with me," said Massimo confidently .

"Tch, don’t be so confident. Who loves you so much?"

Massimo laughed amusedly. "Daisy has told me everything, honey. Including your anxiety because of me."

Gina’s cheeks felt hot, Massimo’s words reminded her of what she had said earlier to Daisy when she was being made uneasy by Massimo’s behavior.

"Ishhh you..."

"Calm down honey, I feel the same for you too. I’ve loved you since the beginning, so don’t be shy," Massimo said quietly while looking lovingly at Gina whose face was as red as a boiled crab.

For a few seconds Gina was silent, she was absorbed by Massimo’s words before finally in a panic Gina pushed Massimo away from her with a strong force and immediately ran away from Massimo’s presence towards the room.

Seeing Gina running towards the second floor made Massimo burst out laughing. "Hurry up and take a shower, honey. I’ve prepared hot water for you."

"I-I don’t want to take a shower!" replied Gina loudly.

"Okay if you don’t want to take a shower, that’s fine. We can laze around the house until the afternoon."

"I hate you, Massimo!" Gina screamed again, Gina knew where Massimo was talking. After last night failed to make love because it turns out that her period hasn’t finished yet, it seems Massimo wants to make her weak again like last night when the man forced her to do a blowjob.

Gina’s footsteps were heard again before finally disappearing after the bedroom door was closed violently from the inside.

Hearing the door to his room being violently closed by Gina made Massimo shake his head, because it was still too early to be active. Massimo decided to do yoga in the backyard, wearing only boxer shorts which were the only cloth covering his body. Massimo started doing yoga moves.

His decision to ask Martin to move Rosa’s belongings to the apartment last night was the right one, because if Rosa was still living with him and Gina, he might not be able to be this free right now. Even though Rosa had no feelings for him, Massimo didn’t want to give her an opening. So Massimo immediately ordered Martin to take Rosa to her new residence.

As long as Massimo hadn’t caught on to the plans Diego was making, Massimo had to make sure Rosa stayed by Gina’s side. Massimo feels Gina’s position would be a little stronger if someone else were on her side, his main goal right now is to protect and ensure Gina gets her right to the inheritance that Yohanes and Barbara Sanders gave.
