Chapter 404: Back to Almeria

Even though it will only fly for 1 hour 35 minutes, Massimo really makes sure that Gina sits comfortably in her seat.

"Thank You."

Massimo shook his head. "No need to thank my dear."

Gina pursed her lips in response to Massimo’s words, not long after Massimo sat down. Roxy, the pilot made an announcement to take to the air soon. Hearing Roxy’s voice made Gina smile, after hearing Massimo’s words about Roxy when she was still in the house her image of Roxy was very high. Especially considering that she is a former fighter pilot of the American Air Force, but all of Gina’s imaginations about Roxy’s figure disappeared when she met her in person.

Roxy really doesn’t look like a female soldier, her motherly and gentle figure is really very deceiving. If Massimo hadn’t told her beforehand, Gina might have thought Roxy was an ordinary worker.

"Where do you know Roxy?" asked Gina quietly.

Massimo, who was already looking at his cell phone, smiled. "In Belgrade by accident when Martin and I were drinking at one of the famous floating bars there."

"Belgrade?"

"The capital of Serbia, a city filled with all kinds of tourists looking for pleasure," answered Massimo quietly.

"Looking for fun?"

Massimo smiled a little, he had forgotten that Gina was not a girl who was familiar with his world. Patiently Massimo then told Gina about the city of Belgrade.

Gina squeezed her fingers tightly as Massimo recounted his life during the two months in Belgrade, her guilt deepening when she found out how messed up Massimo had been during their separation.

"If you want I can take you to Belgrade, honey," Massimo said softly ending his story.

Gina shook her head. "I have no interest in going to a floating bar like that."

"There’s not only a floating bar, honey. There’s a bar that performs cabaret too, I’m sure you’ll like it."

Gina shook her head again. "I don’t want to get into trouble."

Massimo’s eyebrows shot up. "Don’t want to get into trouble?"

"Yeah, I’d better stay home with Rosa," Gina replied lazily.

Going to the bar with Massimo was the least Gina wanted to do, Gina could already guess what would happen at the bar if she went. Massimo would have kept her seated as long as they were at the bar, not allowed to drink and dance like the other patrons. Gina was pretty sure that would happen considering how possessive Massimo was.

Massimo chuckled. "Rosa has to work, under the supervision of Thomas your sister will not be able to do what she wants."

"Thomas?"

"Yes, Rosa will work in the same hospital as Thomas," answered Massimo amused.

Gina opened her eyes wide. "How is that possible? Is there a shortage of medical personnel at the hospital where Thomas works?"

"I didn’t know that, but according to the info Martin got, your sister was admitted to the same hospital as Thomas."

Gina was silent, trying to digest Massimo’s words. When she was about to open her mouth again, suddenly a flight attendant came, the tall, beautiful woman came to bring snacks and ice cream that Gina had previously ordered. After the flight attendant finished with her task, Gina immediately grabbed the small spoon that had been provided beside the cup containing her favorite ice cream. Enjoying ice cream while watching her favorite Netflix series makes Gina no longer interrogate Massimo about Rosa or the others, Gina immediately falls into her own world.

Seeing Gina focus on the monitor in front of her, Massimo then turned his gaze to Martin, who had only been a spectator of his master’s affection.

Massimo looked very serious listening to Martin’s explanation, leaving Almeria for two days left Massimo with a pile of work waiting to be completed. After finishing reporting on his main job, Martin then told Massimo about Ivana Borisova and her manager moving to Almeria.

"Damn it, how did they know I live in Almeria?"

Martin smiled. "The news about your new residence in Almeria is no longer a secret, sir. Everyone knows that you moved to Almeria five years ago."

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that," Massimo muttered under his breath.

"You don’t have to worry, sir. I’ve blocked all access for that Russian woman to approach you," Martin said again.

"Good." Massimo’s gaze slowly fell on Gina who was smiling to herself. "I just want to calmly enjoy my life with Gina, so you really have to make sure those two women can’t reach us."

"Yes Sir."

Massimo’s eyes widened when the spoon Gina was holding accidentally fell, Massimo swiftly then handed his spoon to Gina.

"Thank you," Gina said sincerely.

"It’s ok baby."

Gina smiled. "Want some ice cream?" Gina asked quietly as she lifted her ice cream which was still half there.

"No thanks, wine is better for me."

"Tsk, more wine. Well, then I’ll just finish this ice cream myself," said Gina quickly as she put a large scoop of ice cream into her mouth.

Seeing Gina sulking made Massimo laugh out loud, he looked very happy when Gina was angry. The true nature that Gina had hidden so well immediately appeared when she was upset.

Because they were the jet that Roxy brought almost arrived at the airport, Massimo got ready and re-fastened his seatbelt so that unwanted things didn’t happen. With a lot of experience, Roxy managed to make Massimo’s favorite jet land smoothly at the airport without any disturbing shocks.

"Before I go home I want to go to the mochi shop, okay?" said Gina suddenly.

Massimo and Martin, who were trying to unbuckle their seat belts, immediately turned to Gina at the same time.

"Mochi? What is mochi?" asked Massimo in confusion.

Gina’s eyes immediately went wide, surprised to hear Massimo’s question. "You don’t know what mochi is?"

"Of course you don’t know, what kind of mochi is that?"

Gina shook her head, her attention immediately focused on Martin who usually knew a lot better than Massimo. "You don’t even know what mochi is, Martin?"

Just like Massimo, Martin shook his head. He was really very unfamiliar with the strange name the madam had just mentioned. After all, there is a mafia who knows mochi.

"Mochi is a Japanese cake made from glutinous rice, pounded so that it is soft and sticky, then shaped into a round. In Japan, this cake is often made and eaten during traditional mochitsuki celebrations or Japanese New Year celebrations," said Gina slowly giving a brief explanation of mochi to her husband and his assistant. "Back when uncle took me on vacation to Japan, almost every day me, Andres and Pedro ate mochi."

"So now you want to go to Japan?" asked Massimo suddenly.

"No Massimo no, I want to buy it at the airport."

"Is that kind of food sold in Almeria?" asked Massimo again.

Gina nodded quickly. "Yeah, I saw the name of the shop accidentally on Instagram," Gina answered quickly. "I can buy it, right?"

"Yes, Martin will accompany you to buy it later."

"No, I can buy it myself."

"No, I won’t let that happen. Either go with Martin or we go straight home," said Massimo curtly.

"OK."

"Good girl," said Massimo quietly.

Gina took a deep breath, just buying mochi she wasn’t left to do it alone. Massimo really did not give Gina any freedom at all and Gina’s decision to refuse to be invited to Belgrade by Massimo was right. Because if they ever go to Belgrade then Gina will really only be Massimo’s prisoner, realizing Massimo’s excessive possessive nature Gina secretly thought of a way to make Massimo give her a little freedom.

After Gina managed to unbuckle her seat belt, Massimo then asked her to get off the plane.

As Gina had said before, as soon as they entered the airport she went straight to where the mochi shop was. Martin, who was given the task of guarding Gina immediately followed her without being ordered, while Massimo chose to wait in the waiting room with several of his other subordinates. Being at the airport during busy flight hours like this made Massimo feel uncomfortable, so he chose to wait for Gina in the waiting room.

When he just landed his butt on the sofa, suddenly a soft hand touched his shoulder.

"Mr. Massimo, I see it’s you," cried a beautiful black-haired woman whose face was very familiar to Massimo.

"What are you doing in this place?" asked Massimo coldly.

"I picked up my personal make-up artist, sir. She just came from Russia, so she’s not too familiar with this city," replied the blue-eyed girl coquettishly.

Massimo was silent, he was disturbed by the new appearance of Ivana Borisova, the girl he was talking to. Ivana that Massimo remembers has blonde hair, but the figure of Ivana who is currently standing in front of Massimo chooses black hair like Gina with almost the same cut model.

"Oh yes, what are you doing, sir?" Ivana asked curiously, meeting the man she was aiming for accidentally like this would not be wasted by Ivana.

Massimo pursed his lips. "I’m waiting for my wife."

The smile on Ivana’s face immediately disappeared. "W-wife?"

"Yes, my wife. A few weeks ago, you and your manager met her in Paris when we were about to enter the hotel room. You remember her, don’t you?"
