His soul-Chapter 362: The Tiger
Almeria, 10.00 PM
After finishing a romantic dinner, Massimo invited Gina to sit on the beach together without using a mat.
"Want to swim?"
"No, thanks."
"Why? Afraid that someone might see? This is our private beach, honey. No one will ever be able to come to this place."
Gina nodded slowly. "Not in the mood."
Massimo smiled. "Then what should I do to make your mood better, honey?"
"Nothing, just sit like this."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
Massimo relented, he didn’t want to continue the argument because he didn’t want to make Gina’s mood worse. After ten minutes had passed, Massimo slowly wrapped his arms around Gina’s waist possessively.
"I still feel that this is a dream, hugging you again, sitting alone on the beach like this is the most beautiful thing after my long nightmare for the last five years," said Massimo quietly breaking the silence that occurred between the two of them.
Gina’s lips curled at Massimo’s confession. "Is that true?"
"Yeah, for the past five years I’ve always slept very late. My sleep hours can be counted on the fingers, I’m too afraid to sleep. My dreams are too scary."
Gina’s head turned violently at Massimo without being prevented.
"Scary dreams?"
Massimo nodded slowly before finally lifting his head up, staring at the expanse of stars in the Almeria sky that looked beautiful. Being on the beach like this allows them to enjoy extraordinary views that city dwellers cannot.
"In my dream you are back, smiling at me, calling my name and sleeping in my arms. In my dream I was happy to be back with you, but everything was lost when I opened my eyes. Your form was not there nor was your voice, in the first months I felt that is God’s way to make me strong to face our separation. But after months passed I finally knew that the dream was a punishment given by God to me, therefore I became afraid to sleep. Because after I opened my eyes, the harsh reality immediately came to me. the opposite of the dream I’ve been through." Massimo spoke softly, barely audible, the sound of the waves crashing against each other made Massimo’s voice disappear quickly.
Gina’s right hand gripped the sand beneath her firmly at Massimo’s words.
"But it’s okay, all those nightmares paid off after your arrival," added Massimo again by giving a warm look to Gina who stared at him in silence. "Promise you won’t leave me again, Gina."
"It all depends on your attitude, Massimo."
"Baby..."
"Do you have a boat or something, Massimo?" Gina asked quietly, cutting off Massimo’s words.
"Boat?"
Gina nodded quickly. "Yeah, I suddenly wanted to sail tonight."
"Ships like the ones on the other end?" asked Massimo quietly, pointing at the dozens of small boats sailing on the other side of the ocean.
"Yes."
"Yuck, such a small boat. I don’t want to ride it," said Massimo as usual.
Gina immediately gave a savage look at Massimo who had just insulted the ships that were far from their place.
Massimo shrugged his shoulders. "What? I’m talking facts, small boats like that are not to my taste."
"Ok, then what are your tastes? You just don’t have any boats, you can insult other people’s property. You’re really annoying, never mind. I’m not interested in relaxing on the beach anymore with you, I just want to sleep," said Gina curtly , the next second Gina rose from the sand where she was sitting quickly without being able to stop Massimo.
Massimo immediately closed his eyes when Gina threw the sand off his nightgown, Massimo was not angry at how rude Gina was. The man just laughed a little seeing Gina’s childish behavior that didn’t go away.
When Gina had entered the greenhouse where they lived, Massimo slowly took out his cell phone and talked for a long time with Martin who was in the front house with Thomas. Thomas decided to stay overnight after he got a call from Martin this morning asking him to come back home after the wound on Massimo’s hand opened again. Instead of being angry to see the freshly stitched wound open again, Thomas smiled slightly when he realized that his guess was right about his master.
"You only have forty-five minutes to get The Tiger here, Martin."
"Forty-five minutes, sir?"
"Yes, why?"
"But at the moment The Tiger seems to be sailing, sir." Martin’s voice trembled slightly as he explained the existence of The Tiger to his Master.
Massimo raised his eyebrows. "How so? Who dares to wear my beloved The Tiger?"
Martin swallowed quickly. "Daughter of the mayor of Almeria, she borrowed The Tiger because she was celebrating her birthday with her boyfriend."
"You have forty-five minutes to return The Tiger clean, tidy and fragrant to me, Martin." Massimo repeated his words before finally hanging up the phone and rushing into the house after Gina.
Meanwhile in his study, cold sweat immediately flooded Martin’s body.
"What are you doing, Martin?" Thomas asked, confused.
"The Tiger, Master wants The Tiger now," Martin stammered.
Thomas raised an eyebrow, confused. "The Tiger, what is The..."
"Mr. Massimo’s favorite yacht which he just bought last summer from Italy and currently The Tiger is being borrowed by the daughter of the mayor of Almeria who is celebrating her birthday with her boyfriend," said Martin quickly without pause.
"What? how can the daughter of the mayor of Almeria borrow Master’s yacht?"
"Cooperation, after you managed to get the approval of Manuel Jorge, the new mayor of Almeria, his daughter bravely asked the Lord for permission to borrow The Tiger one week ago. Mister Massimo, who was focusing on Manuel Jorge then agreed to the request of the mayor’s daughter, because that was the time. Here The Tiger is with Christi Jorge and his boyfriend."
"Damn, that girl is so insolent."
Martin nodded quickly. "You’ll be blaspheming her even more if you know what that girl is acting like, Thom. Oh well, don’t talk about her, now you better help me get The Tiger back as soon as possible. The time given by the Master is only forty-five minutes to bring The Tiger home."
Thomas’s face paled. "What? Forty-five minutes? Not wrong?"
"Damn it, don’t talk anymore, Thom! Quickly help me!"
Thomas immediately got up from his chair without daring to speak again and rushed to help Martin who was busy with his laptop, looking for the coordinates of The Tiger. Because all of Massimo’s private vehicles already use the same system that makes it easy for Martin to track the whereabouts of the super luxury yacht, Martin immediately contacted the captain who was carrying the mayor’s daughter and her lover in the middle of the sea.
"Quickly bring The Tiger back to the mainland, you have less than forty-five minutes to make The Tiger clean and spotless again."
