Chapter 352: Sanders’s blood

Not wanting to ruin his first meeting with Gina, Massimo then took Gina back to the hotel. Massimo wanted to bring Gina home as soon as possible to Almeria, the seaside town that had become his home for the last five years. As before, Gina still couldn’t go against Massimo’s will.

When leaving the restaurant Gina slowed her pace when she saw Diego was still arguing with Martin, Diego still did not accept being treated disrespectfully by Martin’s men.

Realizing Gina’s focus was on Diego who was three meters from where they were standing at this time Massimo’s lips curved.

"Why? Surprised to see your current stepbrother?" asked Massimo quietly, breaking Gina’s thoughts.

"Massimo," Gina breathed hoarsely, annoyed.

"Diego has really helped your father a lot at this time, it can almost be said that the progress of your family hotel business cannot be separated from his cold hands. But you have to remember one thing, Diego is still an outsider. He is not Sanders."

"W-what do you mean?"

Massimo smiled, his arms tightened around Gina’s waist. "You’ll find out soon enough."

"No, tell me now!"

"Don’t be stubborn, Gina. I don’t want to ruin the moment of our meeting with unimportant arguments, after all if your family business is destroyed I can easily rebuild it," said Massimo quietly with a meaningful smile.

"Massimo..."

"Let’s get in the car, I’m already uncomfortable in this place."

"At least return my phone first, I have to make sure my family is okay." Without fear Gina reached out her hand towards Massimo, requesting that his cell phone be returned.

Massimo smiled. "Right now your godfather is fine, as are his wife and two sons. His current position as a manager in his office isn’t a problem either, so why do you have to check on their condition, Gina?"

Gina’s lips twitched slightly as Massimo smoothly mentioned his uncle’s family members and his uncle’s current job, Gina knew Massimo could easily knock his uncle down if he wanted to. That’s why Gina had to be careful at this point so that Massimo wouldn’t make things difficult for his godfather’s family.

"I-I have to talk to Lauren."

One of Massimo’s eyebrows rose. "Lauren?" he said slowly repeating Gina’s words in a two-octave-up tone.

"My friend, her house is close to Uncle’s house. She’s also on this tour," Gina said slowly, trying to briefly explain Lauren’s figure.

"She is a girl?"

"Of course, is there really a name Lauren for a boy?"

Massimo smiled faintly. "There are many."

"You really are insane, Massimo!"

"Indeed and the person responsible for my insanity is you, you who have driven me crazy. Just imagine for yourself, where there is a normal man who will still be fine after being left by his wife for more than five years."

Gina immediately turned her gaze to another direction and chose to continue her steps rather than respond to Massimo’s words, seeing Gina leave Massimo smiled a little. Gina’s attitude was still the same as in Massimo’s memory, because Gina had already gotten into the car. Massimo followed him. Being out in the open for too long is too risky for Massimo right now, especially since news of his date with Ivana Borisova just dropped yesterday. Massimo didn’t want to create new problems when he was with Gina.

As soon as Massimo sat down properly, Pablo immediately stepped on the gas pedal and immediately left the restaurant for the hotel where he still wanted to stay. All the way to the hotel, Gina was seen busy with her cellphone not long after Massimo was kind enough to return it. Gina is busy replying to dozens of messages that Lauren sent her repeatedly, Lauren asks Gina for an explanation about Massimo and her family.

From his seat still smiling when he saw Gina biting her thumb nails several times, five years without seeing each other, now Massimo knew that Gina had a new habit when she was nervous.

"We’re here, sir," Pablo said politely when he arrived at the basement of the Ritz-Hotel.

"Are the reporters gone?"

"I think so, sir."

Massimo smiled, slowly he unbuckled the seat belt on his body.

"Come on down," said Massimo gently inviting Gina to come down.

Gina, who was still busy with her cellphone, did not respond to Massimo’s words, her focus was still on the small object with the bitten apple logo. Not wanting to be ignored, Massimo quickly snatched the pink cell phone from Gina’s grip which made Gina scream loudly in surprise.

"Massimo!"

"I’ll return the phone once we get to the room."

"No!"

"No haggling, honey. You’re not in a strong position to make an offer with me," Massimo said again, fiddling with Gina’s cell phone with a triumphant smile.

Holding back her emotions, Gina finally followed the will to get out of the car, dozens of men dressed in black immediately lowered their heads when they saw Gina for the first time. Even though they had never met Gina before but based on the information given by Martin, the captain a few minutes ago they knew that the woman who was with the master was the madam who had not been known for the past five years.

For the first time in five years of not setting foot in a luxury hotel, Gina felt very awkward at this moment. Even though Gina has not been short of money at all, because of her uncle’s simple lifestyle, Gina never travels or stays in luxury hotels in New York. The places they often visit when on vacation are only public parks and a few simple resorts that are far from luxurious, because of that Gina now feels a little awkward.

"We’re husband and wife, Gina. Don’t worry, don’t be nervous," Massimo whispered softly, trying to calm Gina who was shaking.

"W-who’s nervous? I’m not," said Gina curtly, quickly refuting Massimo’s words. "Give me back my phone, I have to reply to Lauren’s messages."

"In the room, I will return your cell phone in the room," said Massimo firmly.

"Massimo..."

"Be obedient, Gina. I beg of you, my wish is also not difficult for you to do, is it?"

Gina immediately closed her lips tightly, Massimo’s words were too stifling to hear.

As soon as the elevator stopped, Massimo put his arm around Gina’s waist again and his guide stepped out of the elevator. When they had just stepped out of the elevator suddenly from the front a blonde haired girl ran towards them and immediately hugged Massimo tightly without any shame.

Massimo who did not expect to be suddenly hugged by Ivana Borisova looked very shocked, his arms around Gina’s waist even fell off as soon as Ivana hugged him. Seeing the intimacy that was happening in front of her, Gina naturally took a step back trying to get away from the two people. However, Massimo’s grip on his left hand suddenly entrenched Gina, finally Gina stopped her steps and remained standing where she is now.

The next second, everything felt fast because surprisingly the girl who was hugging Massimo was now on the floor after losing her balance after being pushed by Massimo.

"Ivana!"

"Watch yourself, Miss!"

Massimo and Olga Mikailov’s words sounded at the same time.

Olga Mikailov quickly helped Ivana to get back on her feet, it was also seen several times Olga patted Ivana’s clothes to get rid of the stuck dust.

"Why are you so rude, sir? What’s wrong with Ivana?" Olga Mikailov rebuked.

Massimo, who had returned wrapped his arms around Gina’s waist, smiled. "Still asking what’s wrong?"

"Ivana just got too carried away when she saw you, sir," answered Olga Mikailov looking for an excuse, justifying Ivana’s act of hugging Massimo without permission like earlier.

Massimo, who already knew what kind of person Olga Mikailov was thinning his lips, Massimo was still trying to be patient with the woman who had put him in trouble.

"Ivana is happy because yesterday’s gossip has been suppressed, so Ivana was out of control." Olga Mikailov again explained the reason why Ivana suddenly hugged Massimo.

"Oh, so the gossip has finally disappeared," said Massimo quietly, pretending not to know.

Ivan nodded quickly. "Yes sir, the gossip about us can finally be handled properly by Olga."

"Take care of Olga?"

"Yes, Olga, who has met the reporters and clarified everything that we just happened to be staying in the same hotel. It’s not like the rumors circulating," Ivana said quickly without a pause full of enthusiasm, her eyes sparkling showing her current blazing enthusiasm.

Massimo nodded his head, pretending to be happy to hear Ivana’s explanation of what Olga had done for them.

"And I’m sorry I hugged you without permission, I was just too happy just now, sir," added Ivana again.

"It’s ok and sorry for my attitude earlier, I was just protecting my wife’s feelings so she wouldn’t misunderstand us," Massimo said quietly as he tightened his arms on Gina which automatically made Gina stick to his body.

"WIFE?!" Ivana and Olga screamed at the same time.

"Yes, my wife. Oh sorry, I almost forgot. This is my wife Georgina." Massimo proudly introduced Gina to Ivana and Olga Mikailov who looked very surprised.

"And dear, this is Miss Ivana Borisova, a great pianist from Russia and this is her manager Olga Mikailov."

Not wanting to embarrass Massimo in front of the two beauties of different generations in front of them, Gina slowly extended her hand towards Ivana with her heart beating fast.

"Nice to meet you, Miss Ivana," said Gina gracefully, although she was nervous, Gina managed to speak well. Sanders’ blood really shows dominance.

Not wanting to make her self-esteem fall, Ivana accepted Gina’s hand and shook it gently. "It’s also an honor for me to meet you, Mrs Georgina."

Gina smiled hearing Ivana’s words, after Ivana let go of her handshake Gina then stretched her hand back to Olga who still looked shocked.

Not wanting to waste a lot of time, Massimo finally ended the introduction to Gina and the two cunning Russian women who were trying to set him up.

Massimo again continued his steps with Gina to his room, leaving Ivana and Olga who looked very surprised.

"New fan?" Gina asked quietly to Massimo who was trying to unlock his room.

Massimo smiled faintly. "Possible."

"Why is that possible?"

"Yes, because I don’t care," said Massimo curtly.

"Beautiful, the girl named Ivana is beautiful."

Massimo, who had managed to unlock his room, immediately turned to Gina. "There is no beauty more beautiful than you, there is no beauty more beautiful than the beauty that is within you, dear. So how can I judge other people beautiful, hm?"

Gina’s lips were wide open, she didn’t expect to hear such words from Massimo’s lips. Not wanting to let Massimo know what was going on with her current feelings, Gina quickly pushed Massimo away and immediately barged into the room. Really, Gina?

Massimo smiled amused seeing Gina’s adorable attitude, without wasting time Massimo followed Gina into the room. Notified Ivana and Olga Mikailov who were still staring at him in disbelief.

"Massimo del Cano is still single, isn’t he, Olga?" Ivana asked hoarsely.

"Calm down Ivana, calm down... be patient. That girl must be just a paid woman, don’t panic Ivana. Massimo del Cano will still be yours," said Olga Mikailov quickly. "I’m going to find out about that prostitute named Georgina as soon as possible."
