"I’m so pissed!" Lanny commented as she stormed inside the house.

Enzo was scanning his phone when Lanny sat down beside him.

"What’s wrong?" he asked, shifting his attention to Lanny.

"That jerk, Dominique! He is the reason why my brother and your sister couldn’t register their marriage today!" She complained.

"Why is that so? What happened?" Enzo blinked in puzzlement.

Lanny turned to face him, showing her dismay. "Dominique didn’t submit their divorce agreement to the Civil Registrar. The office didn’t have any records of their divorce. So in short, they are not yet officially divorced!"

Enzo fell silent for a moment.

"So it’s true. He is still in love with my sister..."

Inside Sabrina’s room, her soft cry echoed. She had mixed emotions after learning the truth.
