Her Dark Desires-Chapter 121: Happy Ending.
City Hospital.
Nine months later.
At the city hospital, Zach allowed Eliana to hold his hand tightly as he encouraged her to push.
"Come on, baby, you can do it. Just one more."
Eliana breathed heavily and shouted as she pushed again, and finally, she heard the cry of her baby.
Zach looked at the crying baby covered in blood and whispered, "He is so beautiful, Eliana."
Eliana sighed in relief, and even though she felt like closing her eyes due to tiredness, the desire to hold her baby in her arms was stronger.
The doctor cut the umbilical cord and passed the baby to Eliana.
The baby immediately stopped crying as if recognizing that he was in his mother’s arms.
Eliana laughed and kissed his face, saying, "Thank you for coming to me."
Zach smiled at the baby, who was just staring at Eliana, until the nurse said, "I need to get him clean and checked up."
"Check up? He is alright, right?" Eliana asked, holding her baby closer to her. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
The nurse smiled at her and replied, "He is alright. This is just standard procedure, just to ensure that the baby is one hundred percent healthy."
Eliana nodded and kissed her baby one more time before giving him to the nurse.
"Take care of him," Zach said with a clear warning in his voice.
The nurse nodded and took the baby away.
Left alone in the ward, Eliana held her husband’s hand and said, "Remember when the doctor told us that we couldn’t become parents?"
Zach kissed her hand and replied, "I remember."
Eliana laughed softly before saying, "Now, we have a son and a daughter."
Although she had gotten pregnant before Greta, Greta gave birth to a baby girl a week before her. Her heart was filled with so much warmth whenever she watched Zach with their daughter. It is always as if he has become a completely different man whenever he is holding his daughter.
Zach leaned forward to kiss Eliana’s forehead and said, "Thank you for your hard work; now get some rest."
Eliana nodded and closed her eyes, and it didn’t take long before she drifted to sleep.
Zach sat close to her, watching her, and he was glad because he knew that she was sleeping peacefully.
After finding out that her daughter took her own life, Sloane broke down and lost her mental balance, and because of that, she was sent to a psychiatric hospital. A week after that, the news of Sloane jumping down from the rooftop reached their ears.
After all these had happened, he and Eliana went on a two-month vacation to get their minds off the drama that has taken place in their lives, and thankfully, Eliana was able to let everything go and begin anew with him and their children.
Who would have thought that he was going to be the father of two babies? Even right now, as he watches Eliana sleep, his mind goes back to his baby girl, who would only agree to sleep in his arms. He wonders if his baby boy will be the same as well.
Someone gently knocked on the door, and before Zach could even ask the person to come in, the door opened as Charlotte came in with a baby stroller.
Zach stood up when he saw his daughter and immediately rushed to pick her up.
"Was she crying again?" Zach asked immediately after he picked her up.
"Why will Ruby cry? She knows she is with her grandmother after all." Charlotte said proudly. Her gaze moved to a sleeping Eliana, and she asked, "How is she doing? The doctor told me it’s a boy."
Zach gently placed his sleeping daughter back in her crib as he replied, "A very beautiful boy."
"I can’t wait to see him."
"As if hearing her request, the nurse came in with the baby boy, and Charlotte collected the child from her.
"I’m your grandmother, little baby, and he is your father. Do you know how long your father has been waiting for you?" Charlotte asked and was not expecting the baby to reply to him with a cry.
"Give him to me." Zach said with a smile, and Charlotte passed the child to him.
Zach cuddled the baby and whispered, "I know you are hungry, but just hold on for two minutes, ok baby?"
The baby still kept crying, and as if feeling her brother’s pain, Ruby started crying as well, and Charlotte carried her out of the hospital.
Eliana woke up from the children’s cry and immediately fed her son. No matter how tired she was, she was never going to allow her baby to be hungry just so she could sleep.
"What should we name him?" Eliana’s eyes widened as she watched her baby feed. Her eyes filled with so much love for those little creatures in her hands.
"Kyle. Kyle Sanders." Zachary said, looking at both his wife and son. He wouldn’t really trade this family of his for anything in the world.
"Kyle." Eliana whispered, testing the sound of the name on her lips. She looked at Zach and said, "I really like it."
"Ruby and Kyle. These two tiny creatures have now become the most important thing in our lives. We must now live for them and ensure no harm comes to them." Zach said with all seriousness.
"I know. Thank you, Zach, for giving me a family.". Eliana said, as her eyes became watery, she wondered why she was feeling so emotional.
Zach cleaned her tears and joined his forehead to hers as she whispered, "Thank you for coming into my life. I don’t think Zachary Sanders would have been the way he is right now if not for an Eliana Sanders that came to repair all his broken pieces. I love you so much, and never once doubt that."
"I love you so much, Zachary Sanders." Eliana replied with a smile, and they both shared a kiss and pulled away when their baby made a cute noise. Their gaze moved to their child, and they let out a soft laugh.
A loving husband, two adorable babies, and a family that loves her as their own. Indeed, this is the happy ending she has always wanted.

Your support to this author mean everything to her and one lesson I hope you all were able to pick from my book is that, you should never be envious of another person’s life, learn to build your own life like them if you like how they live so much. Never live your life in resentment and bitterness but instead learn to forgive and live a happy life for yourself.
