Her Dark Desires-Chapter 115: Eliana Real Mother.

Sanders Mansion.

At midnight, the two brothers and Eliana sat on the balcony with cans of beer beside them.

"Ryan, do you really not have a girlfriend?" Eliana asked, as she opened another can of beer.

Ryan laughed and replied, "Does having a friend with benefits count?"

Zach chuckled and shook his head. "Just ensure she knows that she is nothing more than a friend with benefits."

"Why? Maybe they could fall in love," Eliana said.

Zach laughed and said, "Ryan’s last friend with benefits ended up obsessing over him, and Mother had to take a drastic step to get her off his back."

"I love the way your mother is always available to clean up you guys mess," Eliana said, taking a sip of her beer.

"Yeah, she is a superwoman indeed," Ryan said with a sigh. He glanced briefly at Eliana, who was opening her fourth can of beer, and asked, "Any message from the surrogacy agency?"

Zach nodded. "They have sent us an email of candidates who can become surrogates for us, and I and Eliana have already picked one, and by tomorrow we will be meeting her."

"That’s good news. Congratulations. At first I thought Mom and grandpa were going to opposed your decision of using a surrogate but who would have thought that Charlotte Sanders would have been able to put the old man in his place." 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

"How come I have never seen your grandfather?" Eliana asked.

"Well, he is a private old man, and also I was fifteen when I last saw him. Only my mother goes to see him now; she is also the only one that can handle his bitterness." Zach said playfully.

Ryan chuckled. "So sister-in-law, if the surrogacy is going well, then why are you on your fourth can of beer? Anything bothering you?"

"Since when did you become so observant?" Zach scoffed. He glanced at Eliana and sighed.

Eliana looked at Zach before taking another sip of her beer. "Tomorrow, or rather today by 9 am, I’m going to put my father behind bars. He will be arrested for fraud, and news of what he did to your dad will be broadcast. I know he has never been a father to me, and I shouldn’t feel bad, but still..."

"And your mother?" Ryan asked. "How come you have never been curious about the result of the DNA test. Do you really not want to know what it says?"

Eliana kept silent for a while before she said, "I do want to know, but I’m scared to know. I’m scared to know that she is actually my mother, and yet she felt nothing towards me. No remorse for treating me terribly, and I don’t think I can take it."

"Regarding your mother, I think it’s time you know the truth. Sloane, or rather Stella, isn’t your mother." Zach stated.

"What? I don’t understand."

Ryan cleared his throat and said, "It’s true that your mother’s real name is Sloane, but the person currently acting as Sloane Moore is actually the twin sister named Stella."

"I still don’t understand. What twin sister?" Eliana asked. She was already starting to feel uncomfortable. How could they just tell her this just like that, but then again, how were they supposed to tell her?

"Baby, listen. When I found out about this, I tried telling you but then you suggested the trip and you looked so happy that I didn’t want anything ruining that and after the trip, one thing or another have been coming up so....."

"Just tell me the truth. Please." Eliana pleaded.

Zach looked at his wife, and he could see fear in her eyes because of a truth she would soon know, and he wished he could take it away, but there are some battles that he won’t be able to help her fight, and this was one of them.

"Your real mother’s name is Sloane, and she had a twin sister named Stella. Stella was actually the one that exchanged her sister’s baby with hers and handed it over to their maid. After paying Nina, she went back to the Moore mansion as Sloane, and since then, she has been living as Sloane Moore. A few days later, the real Sloane body was found, and then, thinking it was Stella that was dead, the police arrested her boyfriend for brutally killing her."

Eliana suddenly felt nauseous and quickly ran to a corner to vomit.

"Are you alright?" Zach asked.

"Do we need to take her to the hospital?" Ryan asked with concerned. He felt bad seeing Eliana suddenly sick after finding out the truth. Perhaps he should have told her the truth the moment he read the result of the test.

Eliana cleaned her mouth and asked with tears."Was it really this boyfriend that killed my mother thinking it was twin?"

Zach looked at Ryan who shook his head and said "During the past weeks, your mother’s case was one of the case, I have been investigating and I went to the prison her boyfriend was been held and he said he had nothing to do with the death of the real Sloane."

"Criminals never admit to their crime. You should know that already, Ryan."

Zach sighed. How did a night of them just relaxing turn into this?

"I believed him. A man who has already been sentence and on the verge of death wouldn’t have a reason to lie to me now and with my years of interrogating criminals, I know he isn’t lying to me."

"Then who did it, who killed my real mother!" Eliana screamed.

Zach looked at her, the moonlight being their only source of light as he said "I think you already know who did it."

Eliana laughed bitterly and said, "So she didn’t only take away my child but also my mother. Is she even a human?" Her gaze moved to Ryan as she shouted, "And why isn’t she in jail? Since you know all her crimes, why haven’t you arrested her yet?"

"Because the crime was a long time ago and there is no valid evidence," Ryan said.

"And that is why I have hired someone to follow her and watch every move she makes. I’m sure she will make a mistake very soon," Zach said, and his phone chimed.

He brought it out of his pocket to check his messages.

"I wonder how long we have to wait for her to make a mistake, Zach," Eliana shakily said with tears in her eyes.

Zach passed his phone to Eliana, where a video was currently playing, and he said, "It seems we don’t have to wait that long."
