What is an authority ?. This is an independent power system generated depending on the aspect and cumulative predating abilities, spells, or techniques possessed by a being right before ascending into becoming one of Authority.
All Authority-level beings possess their own independent power system that is entirely separate from the foundations of creation itself, yet must be governed by certain pre-imposed rules upon ascension, making them laws unto themselves but still subject to rules of operation.
The more powerful a being is before their ascension, and how much understanding they have of the law runes that govern creation, the more broken their Authority systems become when they do ascend.
The Authority abilities of an Authority being can be viewed as minuscule creational laws themselves. That’s why it’s impossible to completely destroy an authority being unless you are a dimensional being yourself. They are their Authority constituents, and these Authority constituents are them in every sense.
Zorat’s Authority of Mischief is exactly like one of the broken authorities; in that, as long as he extracts any creature’s desire, and goes ahead and fulfills them, while also making sure that the subject recognizes Zorat as the source of that fulfillment....
Zorat can replicate any of their abilities if he chooses; all at zero cost to himself, and creational laws will not bat an eye because his Authority always followed the rules set upon it. The cause and effect have been properly balanced.
Same too with the second ability of his third sub-authority. The seed of subordination.
The seed of subordination has three phases.
One. The Germination Phase. The duration of this is dependent on the amount of willpower the subject possesses. During this period, the subject just has a very good impression of the Primordial demon king of Mischief.
Two. The Sprouting Phase. Right after the germination phase is the sprouting phase. Once the seed of subordination has properly sprouted in the target’s soul, the mere thought of doing anything that would cause any harm, whether mentally or physically, to the demon king becomes Horrific and downright taboo to the subject.
Three. The Blooming Phase. The final phase of the three. Like the rest, its development pace depends entirely on the subject’s willpower.
Once the seed of subordination has fully bloomed, the subject, on the soul-level, will become incapable of disobeying the demon king’s command.
Even an order to kill oneself will be carried out immediately by the subject, with a bright smile on their face for the honor they’ve been given.
That’s how deadly Zorat’s authority is. It can be used on literally any being in existence.
Zorat had even used it on all the other primordial demon kings in the hell dimension, but as their willpower was monstrously strong and ridiculously vast, the duration of waiting for just the germination phase was in millions of epochs.
Still, he did gain some of their abilities, but sadly, only his own authority can be carried with his soul. Lose the body, lose all the powers buried inside. Except you ascend twice and become something way monstrous, like what Zorat is planning on doing.
Zorat concentrated a little, and his status window from this world system materialized into view...

Still... It’s quite low-level.
Unlike the divine skill, where the runic information was on the surface for the heroes because it’s so high leveled, and particularly placed on the surface for the heroes, allowing them to easily manipulate and command the rune patterns governing its structure.
This skill, though considered high-level by the power standard of this world, was just so-so to Zorat, and to bring it to the level of control he has over spatial manipulation, it would take him a much longer duration.
Obviously, this is only a powerful skill with no hidden divine authority fragment like the ones the heroes possess. Still, it will come in handy when he later brings it to the same level of control he has over his spatial manipulation, and it will only cost him a bit more work.
A rustle of the sheets brought Zorat out of his stock-taking; he looked to see that Kaelara was now conscious after the earlier draining activity they had just performed. But something seemed drastically changed about her.
Kaelara had gotten much more beautiful than before. She was beautiful before, but now, her beauty was even on par with that of the saintess. It was quite weird to see, and even her breasts seemed to have become more luscious.
What is this development?
Zorat wondered as he watched her sit while comically trying to hide evidence of her earlier cathartic release by packing up the sheets.
With a flushed face and eyes still lingering on Zorat’s member, which was currently dangling freely between his legs, she murmured almost incoherently, "Thank you, master."
