He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact-Chapter 652. Visit
Legoland turned to the door. Was Kailen starting to treat him like his personal butler or something? He sighed and moved towards the door.
Everyone here was not someone he could be discourteous towards. He was not here with the identity of a banished prince; he was here as Thuldor Prime, a close acquaintance of Karag Anvilheart. Well, even as a banished prince, he would not be alive if anyone knew of it. Until the revenge was done, he was Thuldor Prime.
The moment he saw the person, he greeted courteously. "What can I do for you, sir?"
The man simply smiled. He didn’t expect this kind of greeting. He was an imperial faction member, used to noble greetings. But on second thought, Karag Anvilheart and his acquaintance were not nobles.
As for Legoland, he recognized the man. Naturally, as someone who wanted to have revenge on the imperial faction, he had done his research on every member of the faction. He had transferred this information about the leaders of the imperial faction to Kailen after Kailen even requested it.
Legoland knew this man was not allied with the first clan at the moment. At least from public information available on the imperial clans. However, he didn’t know what went on behind the scenes. So, he was calm. He didn’t feel any anger or pain or desire for revenge against the man. And even if he were to have felt it, he would not have been stupid enough to let it show. Kailen was the one to weed out those involved, not him.
"Please, can you entertain me for a moment?" the man said.
Legoland nodded. "Sure, have a seat."
The man followed Legoland to the living room. After taking a seat, Legoland offered him some tea, which the man politely declined.
"I’m Uzruth, the leader of the fifth imperial clan. I came here to have a quick word with Mr. Anvilheart. Is he away?"
Legoland simply told him what Kailen told him to tell anyone who visited, regardless of prestige or power.
"I’m very sorry, your Excellency. Mr. Anvilheart is currently in seclusion, quickly after arriving. I don’t know when he will emerge. However, he told me to pass apologies to any esteemed guest who visited—that it’s not intentional to not host them himself."
Uzruth sighed. Since it was a matter of seclusion, the only choice he had was to return back and be on the lookout. He would send some intelligence specialists to spy on the villa. The moment Anvilheart emerged from seclusion, he would come here personally to see him. He didn’t want any of the other clans getting to him first.
"Very well, thank you, Mr. Prime. I would visit when Mr. Anvilheart emerges from seclusion. All the best to him."
Just when he stood up to leave, another person knocked on the door. Legoland gestured for Uzruth to excuse him for a moment. He opened the door.
It was Vaelith.
He had read about this fellow. He was one of the members of the imperial faction, the second son of Malverion RiverBlood, the younger brother of the current emperor. The moment Legoland saw him, rage and pain boiled within him. This was the second son of the man that killed his father, and banished him and his mother from the empire.
But he was calm on the surface. He didn’t dare to act discourteous. "I can’t ruin whatever Kailen is planning by letting my emotions get the better of me," Legoland thought inwardly.
Before he could speak, Uvruth stood, voice laced with slight hostility. "Lord Vaelith. What a surprise to see you here."
It was obvious that Uvruth did not expect Vaelith to be here. "These bastards. They have roped in most of the secondary Carrier professionals; now, they want Karag Anvilheart too?" Uvruth cursed inwardly.
Vaelith had a slight smirk on his face. Fortunately, he had not been too late.
"Lord Uvruth, the weather sure is nice this evening." His voice was laced with mockery and confidence, a clear indication that he was certain he could rope in Anvilheart to the side of the first imperial clan.
Uvruth scoffed. "Mr. Anvilheart is in seclusion, according to Mr. Thuldor Prime. If you would like to stay for a cup of coffee, Mr. Prime is really good at brewing some tea."
Vaelith’s expression shifted inwardly. He was displeased with the outcome. Was Anvilheart still playing hard to get? According to his father, this was the most obvious reason. Was he really trying to avoid them?
On second thought, Vaelith didn’t find it plausible. Although Anvilheart had opted to stay in the fifth clan to improve his worth in everyone’s eyes, so they came to look for him, he wouldn’t be arrogant to turn away two members of the imperial faction when they visited. No one in their right mind would do that, even when he was an extremely exceptional runesmith.
"He must be really in seclusion. I suppose I need to let the phantom corps spy the vicinity. If he ever comes out of seclusion, I need to rush here as soon as possible," Vaelith thought.
"Oh, that’s the case? Then, I will pay a visit to Mr. Anvilheart when he emerges from seclusion. I wish him the best of luck. Hopefully, he breaks through to the next rank peacefully."
With these words, Vaelith gave Uvruth one last glance, nodded towards Thuldor Prime, and left. Uvruth followed. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
Legoland sighed after they left. "This is going to be a very stressful evening."
Each of the remaining three clans sent envoys to him. He gave them the same response. They left politely after being told Karag Anvilheart was in seclusion.
As for Kailen, he was observing everything happening from his room. He was quite satisfied with how things had played out. This seclusion excuse had saved him from a lot of headaches.
"Everything is going according to plan. Now, I need to figure out which of the clans is allied with the first clan. That way, I can kill two birds with one stone." A ruthless glint flashed through his eyes.
