He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact-Chapter 464. The Red Commander

Kailen was currently in his room.

"She will definitely come looking for me wherever I’m stationed for a mission next. That will make things easier."

Kailen looked at the holographic screen and said yes.

He disappeared from his room.

Kailen’s eyes opened.

He looked at his body.

Intact.

Hands, legs, everything was the same.

Suddenly, a bullet seemingly made of blood appeared in his line of vision.

Kailen narrowly evaded the attack.

Vines circled around him and covered his figure, clashing into four more.

Then, about five came towards him from different angles.

A teleportation rune was made by Kailen on the spot. He disappeared from where he previously stood to a distant location, narrowly evading the blood bullets.

He finally took in his surroundings, calmly.

A moon.

He was on a moon of a planet.

A human army at war.

Not with one another.

Crimson eyed figures.

Attacking the humans with different attacks of blood mostly, and other affinities.

Humans were launching attacks of different affinities towards the vampires. The battlefield shook with explosions and screams of opposing armies.

"Kill this crimson eyed fuckers!"

"Insolent humans, meant to be livestock, trying to rebel, die!"

Kailen observed everything from where he stood, calmly.

"First of all. This is a simulation. Second is everything happening is extremely realistic like the second one. If I die, I won’t respawn. I’ll be dead forever. I’m in some sort of war where humans had a falling out with vampires, so it’s most likely before the olden war. This is because the universe alliance was established during the olden war, and humans and vampires have not had any sort of altercation after that. With a common enemy like the vimodials to deal with, no race will have the energy and resources to fight with another race."

As Kailen was musing to himself, a human in some sort of outdated battlesuit hovered close to him.

"Red Commander, awaiting your command. What do we do?"

Kailen’s eyes glinted calmly in realization.

He was some sort of commander in this war.

He stared at the individual.

A rank 7 beginner stage galactic level lifeform.

Kailen was meant to be weaker in strength, at the rank 5 supreme stage ascendant level, and yet, he was a commander over someone at this level?

It seemed the Time Dilation Artifact had factored his capabilities as a Black Flask, before thrusting him into this role.

Perhaps, that was why someone technically at an awakener rank higher than him was listening to his orders.

Kailen realized he needed to understand the situation quickly.

Fortunately for him, he had access to an ID slot.

When he opened it, all he saw concerning his details was that he was called the Red Commander. There was nothing else concerning him, no age no nothing.

From this, it was clear.

He was living through an actual time period in the past in this simulation, and had been given a ghost role as a commander. His decisions here would not influence the past, the present or the future in the real world. But a single mistake could cost him his life, because everything here was real.

Kailen came across a piece of information concerning the era he was in, and where he was. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

He read through it in the span of a moment.

Not even a second may have passed since the subordinate asked him what they should do.

Turns out this was year 2112 of the olden Era,70 million years before the olden war!!!

Humans were currently a widespread but fragmented civilisation amongst several star systems.

The vampires were very powerful, and had dominated the humans for an extremely long time, seeing them as prey and livestock whose blood they fed on as some sort of leisurely nutrition.

Kailen was currently in a region called the veiled expanse, a dense cluster of star systems consisting of forested and mountainous human worlds.

The vampires had established strongholds in these star systems and were currently in control of the humans.

However the humans had enough of the control and brutality of the vampires, and decided to rebel against them, leading to the current war he had been thrust into for this simulation.

The current solar system he was in at the moment was a human stronghold, having several scattered settlements across the solar system.

Three central planets which were strongholds for the humans were being attacked by the vampires.

Xorvania, the one he was currently on, was one of these planets.

This was all the information he had.

Kailen thought.

Did he have an army? If he did, where were they? Did he even know their battle strategy. The strengths and weaknesses of his men?

The subordinate in the outdated battlesuit was staring at him, waiting for a response.

Kailen sighed calmly. He needed to familiarize himself with this place.

"Where are our men?"

Kailen asked, calm.

"Commander, they are all dead.."

Kailen’s eyes squinted lightly.

This was quite troublesome.

"What of those fighting?"

His gaze landed on those engaged in high stakes battles with the vampires ahead on the moon.

The vice commander was a bit confused. Why was the Red Commander asking these questions?

Did he not know that their unit has been wiped out by one of the vampire commanders, Ascorn?

Also, was he not aware that those charging towards the enemy were reinforcements who were also on the verge of being obliterated by the enemy?

He proceeded to tell Kailen about what had happened.

"I see," Kailen nodded.

The vice commander added, "The battle for Xorvania is happening on this moon because the vampires to not want to risk destroying the planet’s resources."

Kailen nodded.

This made sense.

"Also, they don’t want their livestock on the planet, humans, to go extinct. They just need to overpower the soldiers and claim the lives and resources on the planet for their use."

Kailen added.

He mused inwardly.

"I don’t know the purpose of this simulation. But I’m not just supposed to survive. It will mostly likely end if I manage to play the role of this red Commander very well."

"We need an army. And fortunately, I have one," Kailen voiced.

"Come out, everyone."
