Quickly he proceeded to Major Seth’s office.

"The Colonel chose you because of your efficiency in the previous mission. You completed it with restraint, ensuring the matter was resolved without unnecessary casualties or collateral damage."

Kailen’s eyes narrowed slightly as he listened.

"The Colonel emphasizes precision this time," Major Seth said, pausing for effect.

"He specifically requested that you avoid meddling with the structures around you unless absolutely necessary.

The objective is to serve as hidden reinforcement for the units of sector x22-B , neutralize inner threats efficiently, minimize collateral destruction, and leave the base in a state that allows further investigation by our forces."

Kailen nodded.

"Colonel Boro believes that your skill set—your tactical insight and ability to handle operations independently—makes you the ideal operative for this mission. Any mistakes or unnecessary aggression could compromise the larger strategic objectives at the Frontlines."

"Understood, Sir," Kailen replied, with a calm and collected demeanor.

Major Seth leaned back in his chair and added,

"Remember, precision is paramount. You are to complete the mission swiftly, accurately, and without drawing unnecessary attention. Report back only when the objective is fully achieved."

Kailen acknowledged silently, his mind already calculating approaches towards the mission.

The hologram went on to display a map of the mission region, along with live data of patrols, and security measures.

With a final nod to Major Seth, Kailen stood and nodded.

"Sir."

"Dismissed."

As Kailen left the office, the murmurs outside directed towards him continued.

Fear, awe, and speculation , amongst others concerning the rumor of his assassination of Myestro trailed behind him.

But Kailen moved with calmness, detached , as if he had already visualized every step of the mission in his mind.

The second mission had begun.

Kailen quickly headed towards the teleportation gate that led to x22-B.

"I noticed the captain made mention of inner threats huh. Seems like there could be some Vimodial contractors who have invaded the base, and are killing operatives covertly. I need to pay close attention to that when I get there"

"Most important priority, remain hidden.

Secondly, I need to send two of the shadow hounds to scout the other regions of the planet for hidden variables , and one of them to scout the base for any hidden threats.
