Hated By The Alpha-Chapter 119: The Inn
"I don’t want to stop you, but at least, let me come with you," Alpha Lake said as he sat on Audrey’s bed, watching her as she packed her small bag.
"No, someone has to be here for the people, what if they get attacked when we leave?" Audrey questioned as she zipped up her small travel bag.
"You’re stubborn," Alpha Lake said, sulking.
He was going to miss his mate for a few days; how was he going to find the chance to mark her now? And she was still acting weird with him sometimes, he had asked her countless times, but she kept telling him that everything was okay.
His eyes followed her around the room worriedly as she gathered what she’d need for her journey.
"I’m just worried about you," Alpha Lake said with a sigh.
Audrey paused in front of her wardrobe and stared at Alpha Lake. He was now lying on her bed, his upper body resting on the headboard, with his deep gray eyes staring deep into her soul.
Indeed, he looked worried. But he didn’t have to be, she was more than capable of taking care of herself in his absence.
She walked over to the bed and lowered herself beside him, and he instinctively drew her into his arms, cuddling her head against his chest.
"You know I’m very capable on my own, right?" She asked.
Alpha Lake nodded, "I don’t doubt that Kitten, but Malachi is a corny man; he might do something to harm you when he discovers your motive for coming to him," Alpha Lake said.
"He could try," Audrey chuckled.
"What if you-"
"I’m sorry to disturb you, but here, ah!" The door suddenly swung open and Mary entered the room, dropping a heavy duffel bag on the floor in front of the door.
Audrey sighed and got up from the bed, slowly approaching the smiling Mary.
It was bound to happen; when you allowed your siblings to live with you in your boyfriend’s house.
There were no boundaries; barge in and out into someone’s personal space like it was nobody’s business.
Alpha Lake was surprised by Mary’s entrance, he was just looking confused as he stared from Audrey to Mary.
"Mary, how about um, I don’t know - a knock knock?" Audrey raised her hand and knocked her knuckles gently on Mary’s forehead.
"Ohh! My bad," Mary turned and ran out of the door.
She stood beside it with her head poking inside and then proceeded to knock on the opened door.
"Knock, knock?" She flashed her white teeth at Audrey mischievously.
Audrey sighed, frustrated.
"What do you want, Mary?" Audrey asked, raising a brow at Mary.
"Oh, nothing too much," Mary hopped into the room again.
"I just came to let you know that I’m ready for our travel adventure," Mary said, pointing to her bag on the floor.
Audrey stared incredulously at her, "What travel adventure are you talking about?" She questioned.
"The one to the Death Claw Pack, of course," Mary replied.
Audrey laughed lightly, shaking her head at her cousin. They never seemed to disappoint her with their impulsive choices.
"You never cease to amaze me, my dear cousin. How about this?" Audrey went and picked up Mary’s bag and grabbed her hand, dragging her out of her room. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
"Take this bag out of this house and go find yourself some boy to chat, huh?" Audrey dropped the back on the floor beside her door and proceeded to push the resisting Mary out of the door.
"Hey! But... why can’t I come with you?" Mary asked, sulking.
"Because you’d slow me down, dear cousin, now leave, and never come back," Audrey said dramatically.
"You’ll seek for me, and you shan’t find me; I shall take my leave now," Mary said and grumpily grabbed her bag off the floor and started her descent in the stairs.
"Farewell, my dear cousin," Audrey waved to Mary.
She couldn’t help laughing at Mary’s grumpy face, she was still the same.
"We’re all worried about you," Alpha Lake spoke beside the door.
"I know, I just need to do this alone. Going with someone will automatically ruin my plans, don’t worry, I’ll play safe," Audrey assured him.
He nodded, wrapping his hands on her lower back.

Maria was sitting on top of the bed inside the room that had been assigned to her mother in the Packhouse.
After their discussion with Alpha Lake and Audrey, she had quietly followed her mother down to her room, she knew she still needed to speak with her privately.
"How have you been?" Miranda asked, coming out from the bathroom with a white robe around her freshly showered body.
Maria snapped her face up to her mother, thinking of how to reply. She was still skeptical about her acceptance of her mating with a wolf. She was threading with caution not to provoke her and cause her to force her to return home with her.
"I’m fine, Mom," Maria said quietly.
"And your mate?" Miranda questioned, applying some collagen serum on her face as she sat in front of her dressing mirror.
Maria stared at her mother’s face through the mirror. She was trying to gauge if her mother was genuinely asking about her mate or was just trying to find faults.
"Don’t give me that look, Maria; if I wanted you to break up with your Romeo, I would simply command it, dear child. But do not fear, I’ve changed my mind; you can keep your sweet relationship with your wolfman," Miranda said, gently patting her skin to let her skin absorb the serum.
Maria started to smile. This meant that her mother had approved of her and Caleb. She couldn’t wait to bring Caleb to meet her mother, he would be very delighted.
"Yes, do bring him some time to meet me; I’d love that too," Miranda said, smiling.
Maria’s eyes widened, "What - how did you know what I was thinking about? Do read minds now?" Maria asked, surprised.
"You’re my daughter, Maria; I don’t need magic to know what’s on your mind," Miranda replied.
"Thank you, Mom," Maria said and climbed down from the bed.
She leaned over and gently wrapped her hand around her mother’s neck.
"You’re welcome, child," Miranda raised her hand and lovingly patted Maria’s cheek.
Suddenly, the door burst open, "Mom! Audrey’s refused me going with her!" Mary once again bathed in someone’s room without knocking.
Maria rolled her eyes and returned to the bed.
"Joy killer," She said to her twin.
Mary ignored her and went to stand beside her mother.
"As it should be; I told you not to go," Miranda said and continued with her night routine.
Mary glared at Maria as she heard her snicker.
"What’s so funny, Ms. Caleb?" Mary smirked.
Maria narrowed her eyes at her twin sister. How did she know Caleb’s name?
Sandra! That little chirp bird must have successfully transferred all the information she’d gathered for years to her sister.
It was expected, they were birds of the same feather.
"That’s your mate’s name? Caleb?" Miranda slowly stood and walked over to the wardrobe to get her white cotton night dress.
"Yes, Mom, you’ll love him," Maria said dreamily.
"Oh please!" Mary rolled her eyes and went to sit on the other side of the bed.
Miranda turned to her children, "You guys can leave. You have your rooms, or in your case," She pointed at Maria, "Your own house. Chop chop, I need to sleep," Miranda said to her twin, motioning them with her hands to get up and get out.
"Can’t I sleep with you tonight?" Maria asked, Mary was nodding her head beside her sister.
Miranda stared at her children and sighed. It had been ages since she had them together in one room.
She sure had missed having her babies with her, even though they were troublesome.
"Okay. No fighting," She warned seriously, but there was a hint of a smile on her face.
"We promise," The twins replied.

Audrey did want to drive herself over to the Death Claw Pack, going with a car wouldn’t be sensible for her mission; she would still end up leaving the car behind.
"You can stop right here, Henry," Audrey said from the back seat.
"Are you sure, Luna?" Henry asked, looking around the empty street.
He wondered why the Pack seemed like no one was residing in it.
"Yes, you can return. Tell your Alpha That I’m well," Audrey took her small bag and left the car.
"Be safe, Luna," Henry said.
Audrey just nodded and walked ahead to the empty street.
As the car drove away, the whole place returned to being quiet again.
Audrey kept walking, hoping to find someone who would direct her to the Packhouse. She suddenly heard a noise coming from a little Inn beside her, it had a soft yellow light glowing through the windows.
She decided to go in and ask for directions since it was the first place she’d seen people around the Death Claw Pack.
She walked over to the wooden door and slowly pushed the door open.
The sight in front of her made her blood boil.
A girl, definitely under-aged, was spread naked on a long wooden table while over six men took their turns, inserting their dicks into every possible opening the girl had in her body.
"Welcome, girlie! Join our party," A man suddenly appeared behind Audrey, pointing a gun at her head.
