Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System-Chapter 505: Indulge us, master.
Chapter 505 – Indulge us, master.
All the Paragons had reached the appropriate level to rank up. Noah was not surprised by this revelation. He did it on purpose, after all.
The only way for his wives to rank up was through achievement. And the quickest way to gain achievement at that point was for them to put the whole Dragon-Elves faction into the ground.
They had done it seamlessly.
Now they were ready, leaving them only to succeed in their Quest Advancement in order to officially step into the next rank.
Those quests were something Noah could deliberately alter, making them easy for his wives. But he wouldn’t. Instead, he specifically ordered Providence to make them harder, all in mind for them to grow stronger and stronger.
However,
"You are going too far, Noah." Lilith muttered, lips twitching heavily as she read the content of her quest. Each quest was unique, but almost every one of the women had the same expression as Lilith.
Disbelief, outrage, and even a hint of irritation.
They were well aware of Noah’s goal in doing this, but there should be a limit. For all of them, the Quest Advancement would take either too much time or far too much effort to complete.
And that was when the Paragons halted their thoughts, their hearts skipping a beat as a chilling realization dawned upon them.
It was not all of them. Maryam and Selene were fairly indifferent, but their eyes, as they looked at the others, were quite transparent in their disappointment.
"You have been coddled so much that exercising more effort makes you all restless?" Maryam said, tilting her head in a strangely authoritative way. "Are you seriously complaining?"
All of them immediately went silent, understanding the reproach in Maryam’s voice.
They had always believed that no matter how much Noah helped them, shielded them, and made sure nothing happened to them... they were still their own persons, able to protect themselves if needed.
They were wrong.
Comfort undoubtedly put one’s mind at ease. And if the mind was at ease, then the body would doubtlessly follow, then everything after. The result of such a thing was the event happening right now.
Virgo understood that more than anyone, for her Aspect was Decadence. She knew, without doubt, how much comfort was one of the best ways to bring a being down.
Too much of it would kill the spirit and the will to improve.
But what she didn’t know was that even she could fall into such a trap.
Her shame was a sea, and it was flooding her whole being in a way that choked her from within. She cocked down her head, wishing for the universe to swallow her up.
Noah, in contrast, did not say much. He was simply caressing Red, who was now sleeping on his lap after releasing so much of her wrath.
His other hand was up, palm facing skyward, with a green-black light swirling upon it like dragons and nature mating with each other.
This was the soul of Esmeray, held within his hand like a toy. At that moment, Noah could have done many things with her soul, but he decided to give it a role that could be both a gift and a curse.
All depended on Esmeray’s mindset.
And knowing her, the Prince knew Esmeray would wish to die rather than be their Soulbeast. That was one of the main reasons he was doing it.
’Better make them suffer forever than to simply kill them. Death is a mercy. That, I learned now. And not everyone deserves the mercy of being freed from the shackles of existence.’
The soul of Esmeray began to scream.
’So stay with me, Esmeray. Be my Herald even while you wish to cut down my head. Obey my orders and those of my family, even though you will wish to tear them apart. Be obedient, even though that is the last thing you would choose to be toward me.’
As those thoughts crystallized inside his mind and were sent forth toward the screaming soul of Esmeray, Noah finally spoke to his wives.
They were now calm, silent like death. He could taste the shame and self-anger at their own lackluster performance through the air.
Despite what happened with them dying pitifully, it seemed they were still not taking things seriously enough.
Noah could hardly blame them, considering he was there. But he wished his wives to go higher and not always depend on him.
He wished, too, to depend on them. And the only way for that was for them to stand higher, straighter, prouder.
And the best pride one could have was one they earned themselves. Not one they received because of their background.
"I don’t think I need to say anything more than what you have already understood." He said, voice tender. "Even so, just know that all I wish for you is to be able to stand by yourselves even though I am not here."
The air froze.
"Aye." Solaris frowned. "I am feeling guilty, yes, but I hate your tone, Noah. ’When you are not here’ ? If you are not here, then we too are not here."
"That you already know." Alice continued. "We have already proven it in the last incident. And it’s something that will not change even if we are the strongest in all existence."
"That’s why," Anya added, while Ester finished, "alter your speech. Don’t say ’when I am not here’. Say, maybe, ’when I decide to let you slave for me’ ."
Noah’s lips twitched extra hard at Ester’s last words. "I wouldn’t say that, darlings. And damn, are you trying to change the subject?"
They ignored his last words.
"I wouldn’t mind slaving for you, master." Dominique said with a sultry voice. "Matter of fact, I miss when you treated me like one. Can we do it again?"
"I agree." Lilith sighed with sadness. "Indulge us, master. We are yours in the most primal sense possible."
"Ah well..." Justicia chimed, embarrassed, scratching her right cheek nervously. "I... do also miss the hard way you did it with me."
"I was hard, I think, the last time."
"I want it harder. I want you to break my pus—!"
"Please, not now." Sophie groaned, passing an exasperated hand down her face. "I don’t want to get excited by the slutty words. I feel my pussy clenching already. Curse it, I am trying to stay guilty. Why can’t you all be serious for once? And you, Husband, don’t indulge them!"
"Sophie, my lovely empress, I am trying."
Just like that, the previous tense atmosphere melted like snow under a blazing sun. The wives began to banter with each other. However, Noah could very well see that their attitudes had been subtly altered.
For minutes, each one began to talk about her quest and how to complete it as soon as possible and learn the best from it.
He smiled proudly. "I have the best wives, haven’t I?" He whispered to Diatah.
"There is only one commendable thing about them."
"Which is?"
"Their love for you."
Noah wasn’t sure, but he could have sworn he sensed a wisp of envy inside Diatah when those words were uttered. But it was fleeting and disappeared as fast as it came.
Before he got the time to ponder about it, Christelle took Diatah by the arm and dragged her toward the others.
"You! What—!"
"You need to say sorry for your rude behavior toward our sisters." She said calmly.
"What? Who do you think I am to ask forgiveness from you? Let me go or you will regret it!"
Christelle only smiled, her eyes curving like crescent moons in the process. It was cute, yet there was something strange in her smile.
It was like the smile a mother would give to her child when he was being unruly in front of guests — one that promised a good beating afterward.
Diatah felt weird, and found herself in a strangely compelled state to indulge Christelle.
Noah saw the scene and smiled. ’I knew Christelle would be perfect.’
For few — oh, very few — knew how the woman was unique in a twisted way.
Noah adored Christelle. More than what others believed.
Shaking his head, letting his wives prepare themselves for their quests, Noah used his quest reward to make Esmeray their Soulbeast.
But he didn’t stop at that.
In the same breath, Noah stole the authority and station of Primordial of Dragons and Elves from Esmeray.
Thus,
Noah became the new Progenitor of Dragons and Elves hours after coming back. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
