Harem of the Demon: Gathering Beauties in a Magic World-Chapter 52. What if I Told You I can Make it All Go Away?
Chapter 52: 52. What if I Told You I can Make it All Go Away?
Whisper walked backwards, waving his hands nervously in front of his boss.
"No, boss," he answered. "I would do no such thing. It’s just that we don’t know this guy and for all we even know, he beat the crap out of a few of us when we met."
Whisper sneakingly took a glance at an unsuspecting Muzane before facing Souzane again as he continued to move away from her.
Souzane stopped and turned back, making her way straight to her room.
"He’s on our side if that’s your worry," Souzane reassured them before disappearing.
Whisper sighed and wiped the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand.
"Phew! Thank heavens."
Whisper looked up and at the rest of the group, who were staring back at him. With a clap of his hands, he instructed them to come closer.
"Alright, boys! Come and test these out. Find what suits you because that’s what you will be wearing tomorrow on our way to the Herb village."
The group pushed closer to where Whisper had dropped the bags and ravaged through the fabrics inside. Every person had one or two or three pieces of cloth in their hands that they wanted to try out.

Aaron’s eyes were focused on the young man that sat in front of him and nodded with disbelief.
"Are you sure there’s nothing else you want to tell me, huh?" Aaron interrogated further like he had been doing for the past ten minutes.
The man shook his head in denial.
"It’s your money anyway."
Aaron stood up from his chair and went and brought some pills for the man. He opened the paper wrapper of the pills and revealed them to him. They were dark brown and tiny, and each one was about the size of a grain of corn.
Aaron looked his client in the eyes once more with doubt filling his eyes. He looked at the pills and then at the man.
Aaron hissed. He proceeded to wrap the pills back into the white sheet of paper and passed them on to the man.
"Here."
The man took it from the table and unfurled it yet again to see the content and make sure of it. Aaron sighed and shook his head at this person’s level of distrust.
"Thank you so much," the man said, tucking the pills away in his robe. "How do I use it?"
"It should be about 14 inside there. So you swallow one after every breakfast and dinner."
"Hmm. So twice a day?"
Aaron snapped his fingers at the client. "Correct!"
"Thank you."
The man got up and left the office. Throughout his walk out of Aaron’s office, Aaron’s eyes were fixed on him until the door shut behind him.
Aaron shook his head before relaxing on his chair.
"Well, it will cost him a fresh consultation fee rate when he comes back for the other thing he’s hiding."
He slid the drawer on the right side of his table open, swiped the black pouch from atop the table and tossed it into the drawer as it made a clinking sound.
Soon after.
KNOCK!
KNOCK!
"Yes!"
The door opened and Elsa entered the office.
"What’s the matter, Elsa?"
Elsa shut the door behind her and remained there.
"Well, there is a woman here."
Aaron tilted his head. Elsa had not said anything worth knowing and started to wonder if that was why she actually came.
"And?" he asked.
Elsa hung back for a moment before speaking. "She said she’s here for the massage."
"Is that so?" Aaron asked, obviously excited that his massage parlour was growing.
"Let her in then."
Elsa turned to leave but then stopped. "When are you leaving, master?"
"Hmm?" Aaron murmured. "For the Herb village? Tomorrow."
He put his hands together and rested his elbows on the table.
"Why do you ask?"
Elsa looked away for several seconds, short of words to answer her master’s question.
"Nothing," she said before storming out.
Aaron furrowed his eyebrows and sighed again.
"What’s wrong with everyone and lying today?"
Aaron turned his attention to other things.
He picked out a book with an old cover and flipped through it, utilising the short period of idleness to read and distract himself while he waited for the next customer.
It didn’t take up to three minutes for the woman he was waiting for to enter his office.
"Excuse me," her gentle voice said.
Aaron lifted his eyes and peered forward. He closed the book and shifted it to the side.
"Please, come in," he answered in a friendly tone.
The young lady entered, taking sluggish steps as she approached. Aaron observed her with keen eyes, her gait drawing more of his attention than her tall, slender figure and freckled face.
The woman had long curly orange hair that reached her breast level and from how she looked, Aaron could tell she was around her early thirties.
"What’s the matter?" he asked while pointing to one of the two chairs in front of him for her to sit down.
"Thank you," she breathed, suffering to take a seat. She frowned and placed her hand on the back of her waist, providing support for her body as she sat.
"Hmmm!" she grimaced from the painful snap she felt on her waist.
Aaron gave her a confident look. A look that made her realise that he could already tell what was wrong with her.
She moaned when she finally sat down. A simple task that was quite difficult for her.
Aaron cleared his throat. "I can see you have trouble walking."
The woman nodded, affirming his statement. If anything, that was the most evident thing about her right now and it has been like that for some time.
"Yes. For close to two months now," she said. "A friend of mine said you could help. She speaks very highly of her hands and I was hoping..."
She paused and looked around as if she was still in doubt.
"You were hoping that?" Aaron followed up.
She inhaled and exhaled deeply, finding it difficult to say the words.
Aaron inched forward, leaning his right ear towards her.
She fixed her gaze somewhere else in the room.
"I was hoping that your massage might be able to relieve my pain."
Aaron laid back on his chair and chuckled. "That would be 8000 star shillings but..."
The woman stared at him, hoping to hear some good news.
"What if I told you I can make it all go away?"
Her eyes gradually dilated and her face beamed bright with the hope of a thousand persons at the new turn of events.
"Are you saying that you can make me walk normally again?" she asked with a brightened countenance.
