Half-Hearted: Mr. Sinclair, Stop the Act!-Chapter 229: Slaps, Beaten 2
Must she be killed?
Sienna Monroe narrowed her eyes, letting out a cold sneer.
Once again, she grabbed Vivian Nash’s hair, forcing her to look up, "Kill me? Haven’t you already done it once?"
The words Vivian Nash was about to fling out were suddenly cut off.
Staring blankly at her, when meeting her icy and contemptuous gaze, she instinctively shrank her neck, "What... what do you mean?"
Sienna Monroe mocked, "What? Forgot so quickly? Seems you have a poor memory.
Let me remind you, shortly after I confirmed my pregnancy, you ordered a milk tea delivery once and intentionally had Cecilia York send it to my office. Don’t you remember what you put in that cup of fruit tea?"
Fruit tea?
Cecilia York?
Put something in it?
Vivian Nash’s brain raced for a few seconds before completely shutting down.
Her heart also froze at that moment.
She remembered indeed putting something in the cup of fruit tea she ordered for Sienna Monroe, but that afternoon Sienna seemed to have taken the fruit tea out.
For the next few days, there was unfortunately no further opportunity to make a move.
Turns out she had discovered it all along?
No, that’s impossible, she had done it very discreetly, how could Sienna possibly know?
A hint of panic flashed across her expression suddenly, and she immediately avoided her eyes, her voice trembling as she spoke, "So what? What... what do you want to say?"
"Seems you remember the radioactive drug you put in that cup of fruit tea."
Sienna Monroe saw her reaction and knew, chuckling softly, "What do you think if I submit the test report of that cup of juice to the police?"
Vivian Nash’s heart rate suddenly sped up again, her eyes flickered.
Is she threatening her?
She tried to suppress the anxiety and chaos deep inside, feigning confusion and misunderstanding, "Radioactive drug? What’s that? What’s it got to do with me? I don’t understand a word you’re saying."
Even if there really is a test report as Sienna Monroe said, so what?
So much time has passed, even now, what evidence is there to prove she did it?
What if it was Cecilia York?
Anyone who touched that cup of fruit tea could be suspected.
Presumably, the reason Sienna Monroe didn’t immediately report to the police to investigate back then was out of this concern.
Now there’s no evidence, with just some test report, what can she do to her?
Sienna Monroe subtly furrowed her brows.
She had to admit Vivian Nash is quite clever, her reaction is quick.
She initially wanted to coax information from her, but unexpectedly, she didn’t fall for it in this situation.
What a pity.
She looked down from above at her, her clear voice exceptionally serene and rather imposing.
"Then let me say something you understand, the first slap was for your viciousness!
We’ve known each other for ten years, from our freshman year to college graduation, all these years, I’ve been devoted to you, thinking of your eating, clothing, and using needs,
Even after graduation, I arranged for you to work in my mother’s gallery; every bit counts, every single thing, Vivian Nash, I’ve never wronged you once!"
"The second slap was for your meanness! You were witness to my relationship with Caleb Sinclair, how we dated and got married, yet as a best friend, you insisted on seducing him.
Why? Have you fallen so low that you can’t even find a frog on the street with two legs anymore?"
"The third slap was for your malice! You and Caleb Sinclair carried on your affair for so long, constantly deceiving me, challenging me openly and behind my back.
In the end, you didn’t repent, wanted me dead, and even now is trying to frame me with such despicable and shameless means, attempting to slander and discredit me.
As for the last slap, it was gratuitously given to her.
Sienna Monroe’s every word and questioning cast an additional shadow on this bright and clear day.
The breeze gently brushed by, her smile even fainter than before, "Heh, come to think of it, you and Caleb Sinclair are truly a match made in heaven, a scumbag and a slut, perfectly paired!
Actually, I should thank you and Caleb Sinclair; you let me see his deceit and pretense, and Caleb Sinclair let me see your cunning and scheming."
Each time she spoke a sentence, the pressure on Vivian Nash’s head and hair increased.
Vivian Nash’s pretense of levity lasted less than ten seconds before the discomfort of being pressed to the ground and the pain on her scalp shattered her composure completely.
Now, hearing her accusations, with words that vilify her into the dust, all the blood in her body rapidly flowed backward.
Yet she couldn’t break free.
In her inflamed face, now appeared a sinister, twisted smile.
And those normally very charming and elegant phoenix eyes now bore a few traces of resentment and madness.
She snarled viciously, "Sienna Monroe, on what grounds do you say such things about me? What right do you have to say such things about me? Speaking of cunning and shamelessness, who can surpass you?
No wonder your mom died early; I think this should be your karma.
Hahahahaha, karma’s good, maybe your dad will soon..."
Smack!
Smack!
...
Before she was done speaking, Sienna Monroe’s eyes turned red with fury, flipping her over from the ground, raining down slap after slap on Vivian Nash’s already swollen face.
"Ah! Murder... ah... ah... help, murder... Sienna Monroe murdered... um!"
Sienna Monroe pinched her mouth, her nails deeply embedded in her facial skin, gritting her teeth, "Try saying it again!"
"Um..."
With her mouth pinched, Vivian Nash couldn’t say a word, the sensation of the nails digging in was quickly overshadowed by the burning pain from the slaps.
She only felt pain all over, tears uncontrollably flowed down.
Outsiders watching didn’t know who shouted, "Miss Morgan, stop hitting her, if you kill her, you might be held accountable, it’s not worth it, dirtying your hands on such a person."
Quickly, others echoed too, advising Sienna Monroe.
Sienna Monroe’s rising and falling voice was accompanied by the spring breeze, pouring into her burning ears.
Pulling her reason back a little from the brink.
She looked down at the miserable Vivian Nash beneath.
Loosening her mouth, she taunted, "I was too foolish, I thought that since you received the punishment and karma deserved.
If you just returned the things Caleb Sinclair gifted you, we might just go our separate ways afterward.
But I was wrong, you, such a selfish person, don’t understand right from wrong and good from bad.
You just keep demanding, unscrupulous for your goals, you could betray and sacrifice anything, even using dirty means at no cost!
If in the end you didn’t get what you wanted, you’d never think it was your mistake, only believing others blocked your path,
That everything was their fault, eyes blind, hearts dark, despicable and shameless, as if you’re the only innocent and pitiful one abandoned by the world.
Vivian Nash, neither of us is foolish, do you really think you’re the only smart person in the world?"
