"Did anything happen last night?"
Li Wei was mainly worried because many people had been killed by the Nightmare in the dreamscape last night, and he feared it might affect reality.

As the main army drew closer to the front lines, Li Wei began to see the effects of the war.
Along the way, he saw many villages reduced to ruins.
The farmlands were trampled and barren.

In the distance, a column of thick, black smoke rose into the sky.
Li Wei knew it was a village that had been attacked by Beastmen.
Beastmen plundered everything: food, humans, money... Anything they couldn’t carry, they would destroy without hesitation.
The Macher Kingdom’s army had held back the main Beastman Race army, but they couldn’t stop scattered, wandering Beastmen from infiltrating the borders.
