This stuff had already climbed to the top of their family dessert ranking, but unfortunately, she didn't know how to make it.

Ever since Lucas and Lin Chen left, they had been out of food for more than a week and were craving, so when they suddenly saw it being sold, and as a self-service, of course, they had to serve themselves first.

"Good morning everyone, how many days do you plan to play here?"

"Good morning Lucas," Marian nodded to him, holding a full bowl of ice jelly, unable to spare a hand to greet him, "We haven't decided when to go back, considering whether to wait until we finish participating in the kite festival."

"Ah?? Then wouldn't that be nearly a week?"

"Pretty much, anyway, there's nothing to do when we go back, the design plans for the new house renovation haven't come out yet."

Lucas felt a sincere sense of envy for this kind of luxurious lifestyle.

How great it would be if he could spend every day not working, just eating, drinking, and having endless money to spend~

"Mommy, Mommy, I want to eat fried rice~"

While the two were chatting, Marian's two little daughters couldn't help but keep tugging at her skirt.

"Good girls, don't rush, Daddy has already gone to get your meal, go sit back down and wait to eat, okay darlings?"

She verbally comforted her daughters while quickly scanning the dining area, spotted George and the two sons from behind, and breathed a sigh of relief.

Luckily they came early, and now the number of customers dining wasn't too many, unlike yesterday when there was a rush to grab food.

"Squeak——"

Outside the restaurant.

Boss Magna's pickup truck stopped steadily.

He thought coming at seven wouldn't be too busy, after all, it was just the start of service, he intended to deliver the goods and leave, but the queue was already stretched out to the parking lot, with at least over fifty people, truly over the top.

This situation left him quite helpless. Since he couldn't enter through the main entrance, should he go through the back?

But as he went around to the back, he saw a production crew filming.

This level of business can be called just okay?

He realized what humility truly meant.

With the restaurant's dining business being so good, the food stall business likely wouldn't be bad either.

He took a few deep breaths of the aroma permeating the air, patted his flat, empty stomach, and suddenly felt a bit unbearably hungry.

After the program staff signaled that he could pass through as usual, he didn't care about being on camera, and boldly dragged the trailer into the restaurant.

"Lucas! Should I put the seafood in your cold storage?"

"Sure, thanks. Want to eat something before you go?"

"Hmm?! Isn't that a bit much?"

Lucas glanced at the plate already in this guy's hand, his mouth twitching.

"No worries, the chef said he invites you, just remember to wash your hands before eating!"

Just one spot, and Lin Chen could still make the call, moreover, it's beneficial to maintain good relations with the suppliers.

He quickly wandered around the area, dazzled by the array of dishes before him, almost half of which he had never seen before, and the style was extremely unique, clearly identified as Great Xia Cuisine made by Lin Chen.

Originally intending to try a bit of everything, he found after a lap that there were two dishes he couldn't get his hands on.

Seafood fried rice and green pepper beef strips.

These two dishes had the most people lined up in front, he watched as diners each took a plate after plate, piled high to the point of almost spilling over.

"Is it really that good?"

He had eaten fried rice before, like those sold from Thai food trucks, and they indeed tasted good, with the refreshing flavor of basil leaves being quite addictive.

Since Great Xia is the origin of fried rice, it's understandable that they'd make it even better, right?

After scanning around a few times, finding no empty seats, he simply stood in line and while lining up, started to eat the dishes he'd already grabbed on his plate.

He recognized bean sprouts too, which were in Vietnamese pho, crispy and pretty good, so he grabbed a big scoop to put on his plate.

Using a fork, he picked up a whole mound of bean sprouts, and although he wasn't sure how to cook them to taste good, they appeared glossy, reflecting light from the oil on the surface, emitting a faint fragrance.

Upon tasting, the crisp texture was completely different from the raw bean sprouts eaten in Vietnamese pho places.

The ones in the pho were raw, juicy, distinctly raw in taste.

But what he was chewing on now had completely lost that raw taste, it was equally juicy, possessing a unique crunch he couldn't quite describe, overall not bad, better than raw.

Especially since those bean sprouts were paired with tender green vegetable chunks that looked like chopped scallions, enhancing the bean sprouts' fresh flavor subtly.

He didn't recognize them, but eating was his priority.

Lin Chen was just two meters away, behind the stove, flipping the pan as small pieces of seafood and egg fragments danced amid the flames, the resulting aroma diffusing with the rising heat.

The flames soon died out, he skillfully tossed in a plate of cold, loose rice, quickly flipping the pan again.

Stir-frying, sprinkling scallions, drizzling soy sauce, and serving all in one smooth motion.

The aroma from the scallions and soy sauce, unleashed by the high heat, tantalized the noses of those queuing, their faces showing pure bliss.

The large pot of fried rice, capable of filling two chafing dishes, was completely cleaned out by over ten diners before it got to him.

"Praise God, Great Xia Fried Rice is definitely the best fried rice in the world!!"

"How can this fried rice be so fragrant without any special seasoning? The one I made at home following the video was nowhere near as good." 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

"Delicious, so delicious!"

"Though it appears cooked over high heat, the seafood remains incredibly tender and chewy, it's unbelievable!"

Each diner who managed to get some fried rice passed by him wolfing it down, letting out waves of appreciation, as though they had tasted some divine delicacy.

This sight made those who didn't manage to grab some even more restless.

Magna was now at the very front of the line, which wasn't entirely lucky, nor completely unlucky.

He glanced at Lin Chen, who appeared to be cooking other dishes, meaning if he wanted fried rice, he'd have to wait a bit, so he looked down at the remaining chafing dishes next to him.

Beside the empty fried rice, there seemed to be half a pot left of the seafood noodles, looking like they used similar ingredients to the fried rice.

It was his first time seeing noodles this thin, out of curiosity he added some to his plate to try.

He wasn't foolish, the unfinished noodles mean they weren't as good as the fried rice, so saving room for fried rice was more important.

The noodles looked almost as thin as hair, each strand glossed with oil, yet the bottom of the plate wasn't greasy, the ingredients like bean sprouts, chives, seafood were hidden within, decent in appearance.

"Slurp"

It tasted completely different from what he imagined, lacking the slippery texture of traditional noodles, instead, it was somewhat dry, very light, with a noticeable bounce when chewed.

There were bean sprouts in the noodles too, clearly different from the crispy sautéed bean sprouts he had before, they were drier, and paired with the greasy noodles, seemed to help cut through the richness.

The shrimp pieces and scallop pieces were cooked to perfection, offering the ideal crispy bounce, even a slight additional cooking time would lead to a tougher texture and a loss of juiciness.

There's no need to mention the squid pieces, one of the ingredients that demand the most careful control of cooking time, overcooked even slightly, they would turn rubbery.

The savory level was balanced, with a rich seafood flavor that wasn't at all fishy, and the sweet onion shreds and bean sprouts harmonized together, playing a wonderful symphony in his mouth.

He couldn't help nodding repeatedly, his mind filled with greater confusion.

Why was such delicious fried noodles left over?

Could it be his taste buds were off?

For a moment, he even wondered whether he hadn't had enough good food, even the leftover stuff others passed on tasted amazing to him.

How delicious would the fresh serving of fried rice be when it's ready?

Moreover, thinking of the high-quality seafood he'd just delivered to the Head Chef…

"Gulp."
