GOD OF ALL SYSTEMS-Chapter 213: The Desolate tunnel
Upon entering the Space Rift leading into the Desolate Realm, Patrick, Athena, Anna, Thalia, Elaine, Raleigh, and the rest of the group were introduced to a vast tunnel-like dimension, leading endlessly into an overwhelming suction force, devouring anything physical or energy-based within the vast tunnel dimension.
Allowing themselves to be sucked into the devouring force similar to at least ten thousand black holes, more, Patrick's group casually blitzed through the tunnel dimension, their figures seen as glints faster than the speed of light billions of times over. And that's them just casually drifting.
Besides their illuminating godly radiances, which lit the path as they flew, everything else within the tunnel dimension was shrouded in void darkness. Patrick and his wives were in front, while Raleigh drifted below him, and the Primates and the Transcended Omni Droids drifted behind them in an uninterrupted formation.
"Grace, other than it being the battlefield of gods, and the origin dimension of this universe, what else does the Desolate Realm contain?"
"Although the Desolate Realm is the birthplace of this universe, it is more than that. It is an independent Realm acting as its anchor. Not severely constrained by the Universal Restrictions, Laws, Daos, and the natural Heavenly Curtailment, gods and higher dimensional entities can descend freely into the Desolate Realm without much concern for Universal Retributions or restraints. At least powerful ones.
The reason it's called the Battlefield of the Gods is that the first higher-dimensional entities to descend the Desolate Realm discovered that causing the death of other living creatures granted the victor a percentage of the enemy's strength. Ever since then, Heavenly Kings, up to Heavenly Venerates, and even Gods began sending forces into the Desolate Realm. And thus was born the name."
"So it's just a leveling zone for the strong. With the opportunity to advance their powers while also enjoying the thrill of combat, what crazy existence would say no to that?"
"If that's the case, then you are also a crazy existence, Master."
"I thrash godly entities for entertainment, Grace, avatars, and anything less is not worth mentioning. And besides, the advancing feature of the Desolate Realm is useless to me."
"That is a fact, Master. In game terms, it's like giving experience points to a max level player."
…..
As they flew, a white glint slowly appeared, the light gradually becoming larger and brighter as they blitzed towards it.
Suddenly, Patrick's vision shone bright as they emerged into a larger dimensional tunnel, countless times larger than the previous one and radiating with endless amounts of heavenly energy, lighting the tunnel, highlighting its vastness. Compared to the vast, desolate tunnel, Patrick's group could not even be seen as glints if one zoomed out.
But other than being met with a heavenly sight, they also encountered billions of entities from various unknown dimensions, Immortal Planets, and Universes. Upon their arrival, many of the drifting entourages or groups in the vast, desolate tunnel noticed them.
Mind that most parties had minimums of hundreds of millions, up to tens of billions even, so the arrival of a party less than one thousand five hundred was attention-worthy.
Hovering within the vast tunnel, Patrick saw hundreds of millions of various species of space beasts slowly drifting through the tunnel. Enshrouding every beast were glow-like energies, protecting them from the chaotic energy within the tunnel that constantly shredded and distorted the fabrics of space and reality.
"Taming Desolate Beasts to traverse the Desolate tunnel, now that's resourceful," Elaine said as they stared at the billions of beasts being ridden and controlled by the groups.
The beasts were wide and gigantic black slimy creatures with wings spreading for millions of miles, their mouths were sealed by large chains created from the respective Daos of the riders, and they had tails which radiated energy as the chaotic energy in the desolate tunnel, allowing them easy travelling in the tunnel like fishes in the sea.
"Hmm… they have been doing this long enough to know how to tame the desolate whale beasts. And they can only be controlled by Heavenly Realm cultivators using the Dao of Beast Taming.
Patrick said as his group slowly began drifting with the flowing traffic of hundreds of billions.
The group gradually drifted into the suction force, as did everyone else in the tunnel. Despite the trillions of present individuals, they were but glints of dots compared to the vast, desolate tunnel. This puts into perspective the sheer size of the desolate tunnel.
The parties of hundreds of billions drifted in the desolate tunnel at speeds ten thousand times faster than the speed of light, yet it was as if they were moving at a drifting speed. The suction force leading into the desolate realm was so powerful that it pulled everyone at such an astronomical speed.
As Patrick's group drifted past some groups, they stared at them with interest and suspicion. Everyone within the tunnel was either on a desolate whale beast or was being protected in the self-created dimensions of their respective Heavenly Realm and above elders and compatriots. Even some powerful entities had to shield themselves from the voracious, destructive chaos energy, which was countless times more catastrophic than the regular chaos energy from their known universes and worlds.
This fact made Patrick's group more eye-catching, since not only were they the smallest group, but they were also freely bathing in the chaotic energy, unaffected by the devastating disintegration of chaos.
As Patrick's group drifted, various parties exchanged glances as they communicated in their respective language and dialects.
[As desired by Master, all High Dimensional readers are now granted Omni Language comprehension; readers can now understand every language in the GOAS Omniverse as if it were their native tongue]
|Grace's voice sounded in the background of the GOAS Omniverse." |
Inside the safety of the glowing energy bubble, coupled with the desolate whale's naturally adapted habitat, a race of black-eyed, long-haired, and single-tailed humanoid beings doubtfully stared at Patrick's group. Their blackened eyes widened with suspicion and bafflement as the group drifted past them.
"Master, isn't it an ancient and undeniable fact that the desolate tunnel pulverizes and erases anything within it, especially without the protection of Heaven Realm masters or desolate whale beasts? Then how come these people are freely roaming the chaotic seas of the desolate tunnel?"
A mature man standing behind an elderly figure holding a long, green-glowing staff and with a long beard said as he stared at Patrick's passing group. The black-eyed race beings numbered in the hundreds of millions over the ginormous desolate whale beast.
The master in question, the elderly man with the long white beard, stumped his glowing green staff lightly when a faint energy erupted at ten times the speed of light, spreading in the surrounding area and encompassing everything within a ten-million-mile radius simultaneously, including Patrick's group.
Of course, with every party travelling the desolate tunnel, being powerful individuals from various unknown heritages and backgrounds, it was easy to detect the spreading energy. But with such occurrences being common among the travelers of the desolate tunnel, most simply ignored it, only maintaining a casual gaze at the group, in case the events escalated.
The black-eyed race master gazed at Patrick's group, his slightly dimmed eyes radiating a green essence as if assessing their strength. But before the old man could even rest his gaze past the red-haired man lazily drifting below the group, his body trembled with dread as a certain vision flashed his consciousness.
Upon staring at Raleigh, the master saw a premonition of his entire crew blasted from existence, and his body shredded by the fabrics of reality and the rivers of time simultaneously. His green energy staff drifted aimlessly within the desolate tunnel, shattered and broken into countless pieces. But before his vision faded from the premonition, he saw the silver-haired man hovering in the distance with hands behind him as the red-haired man bowed and reported to him, as if he were his god.
With such dreadful premonition, the Heaven Realm master from the unknown race suddenly widened his eyes with caution as he withdrew his energy, his gaze diverting from the passing group immediately as if not daring to meet their gazes. Even then, blue blood suddenly oozed from his tear duct, indicating an internal injury from merely seeing the vision.

Being the master he was, the black-eyed race elder quickly healed, saving himself the embarrassment in front of his entourage. Assuming a calm countenance and demeanor, the master simply controlled their whale beast and slowed their speed, distancing Patrick's group hundreds of light years away from them.
Seeing this, the mature male squinted as he questioned, "Master, were they that powerful?"
Hearing this question, the hundreds of millions in their group stared intensely at the group drifting hundreds of light years ahead as they anticipatedly waited for their master's answer.
The long-bearded master sighed as he said, his words sending a profound meaning to his group.
"The multiverse is full of mysteries, child, mysteries best left unprobed. There are things in this Multiverse that transcend the realities and concepts of even higher-dimensional beings like me. For death is but a fraction of what awaits those who delve into the abyss of such existences."
Similar events occurred for countless other groups as Patrick's group drifted past them. The respective masters of the groups probing into the group, only for them to be left injured later. This created a wave of desolate whale beasts spreading away from the group, creating a gap of at least five hundred light years in radius from Patrick's group as they drifted further into the desolate tunnel.
But hundreds of light years above the traffic below, a desolate whale beast, five times the size of the ordinary whale beasts, drifted with a width spreading from tens of millions of miles long. Situated over the desolate whale beast was an entire city, glimmering with wealth and luxury as if the city of gold emeralds.
Deep within the golden emerald city, in a high tower and in a spacious throne hall, a young male figure sat on a large emerald throne with three dragon heads cresting above his headrest. The crest brimmed with black and gold energy as it constantly showered the young male individual with an endless amount of unknown energy.
The young male had two pairs of eyes, three draconic horns piercing from his forehead, wrapped around his head. He had golden black scales as skin and a muscular physique of dominance and regality. But despite the young male's draconic characteristics, he had long black hair and a humanoid physiology with a handsome face, actually, very handsome.
Sitting on his throne with a luxurious and heavenly armor made from unknown materials, the young draconic male grunted, his breath sounding like the sigh of a dragon's breath, his nose puffing out black flames as he stared into the desolate tunnel.
"Hmm?"
With the power to command a force of fifty billion warriors, all from different races, evident from the rows of elders and subjects standing below him, the young male individual can be said to be immensely powerful, more powerful than the Ancient Grand Ancestors from the Immortal Realm, even. Since he had Heaven Realm elders serving him as his subjects, evident from their bodies constructed of universes and galaxies.
With such power, sensing something from billions of light years away should be a common occurrence, let alone hundreds of light years away; it should be compared to having loud music played next to you, even.
Noticing the distancing of desolate whale beats, creating a clear pathway for a group of merely one thousand three hundred and six, the young draconic male simply side-glanced as his vision zoomed in on the group freely roaming the chaotic void of the desolate tunnel, unaffected by its severe natural characteristics.
In a draconic tongue, the young leader spoke, his voice causing the space to shatter instantly as he uttered, "Shift!"
Simultaneously, the massive desolate whale beast glitched from its location in the desolate tunnel as it appeared directly over the group. Its sudden appearance disrupted traffic and scattered numerous parties from its surroundings.
Patrick led his group when a large shadow suddenly appeared over them, causing a commotion. But being who they are, the party didn't even acknowledge the massive desolate whale beast over them; they simply continued their travel, their speed unchanged.
Inside the majestic tower on the beast, the draconic young man slightly twitched his brows upon seeing the group ignoring him despite their overwhelming entrance. But with a calculative and discerning gaze, he raised his hand as if commanding someone, then time suddenly halted in the throne hall.
"Guardian, your thoughts? Despite their human physiology, they freely traverse the chaotic seas of the desolate tunnel. Is there such a body constitution that rivals that of our Ancient Chaos Dragon race?"
Suddenly, the fabrics of reality folded and reshaped into an elderly male figure. The figure stood beside the young draconic man, enshrouded in the fabrics of reality, his true physical appearance unknown and undiscernible. Then, a voice filled with power and regality echoed the time-frozen hall.
"In the cultivation multiverse, there are only six other races that rival the physical constitution of that of the Ancient Chaos Dragon race, and I sense none of them in this desolate tunnel. As for how they are traversing the desolate seas unaffected, I can attribute that to the possibility of their leader wielding a Grand Dao, or an unknown special physique that enables them to survive the chaotic seas of the desolate tunnel. It is nothing special, you can also roam the desolate seas freely."
"Yes, but I am an Ancient Chaos Dragon born, what's their excuse?"
"… Does the young emperor wish to devour their destinies? I calculate that it would hasten your ascension to a full-fledged Heavenly King and becoming a fourth-dimensional entity."
The elderly male figure spoke, the reality fabrics wobbling as his voice echoed in the void.
Hearing his guardian, the young draconic emperor remained silent and contemplative as he impassively stared at the group steadily drifting into the overwhelming suction force of the Desolate Realm.
"Master cautioned me not to underestimate anything entering the Desolate Realm, but what is there to be cautious of, some brat who isn't even… hmm?! He has no cultivation?" The young draconic emperor paused as he sat upright, becoming attentive to the group, especially at the silver-haired young male leader.
The elderly male guardian also stared at the group, his reaction still impassive and unreactive. He diverted his gaze to the red-haired man floating below the silver-haired leader, his eyes glowing with unknown power as he twitched his brows.
"Hmm, I can't discern their realms? To possess an ability that even conceals their cultivation realms of existence from me, an Ancient Chaos Dragon born, this little brat holds more secrets than meets the eye." The young emperor voiced, he continued,
"Guardian, can you tell their cultivation realms? You are a fourth-dimensional Heavenly Emperor 1st stage."
"Not currently, young emperor, but let's change that.
Time Search, Dao of Knowledge, and Prediction!"
The guardian said, staring at the group as his eyes glowed again, a wave of unknown energy radiating from him and entering a line of golden thread hovering before him. His vision brimming with power and majesty as he indulged in his Dao. Being a fourth-dimensional entity, time-space is but a concept to manipulate at will since they exist across all of time and space simultaneously.
Ahead of the traffic, Patrick, Athena, Annastasia, Thalia, Elaine, Raleigh, and the rest travelled at casual speeds with the flowing traffic. Their pathway was cleared, and everyone was still distancing themselves from them as they blitzed through the desolate tunnel.
"The little worm of a dragon wishes to know of our identities. Now isn't that farfetched?" Thalia said, scoffing.
Hearing her sister, Athena looked ahead at Patrick. Understanding his wife's intention, Patrick turned slightly and nodded, continuing ahead.
"Since they want information, let them have it. Totality, I permit you to provide our information." Athena said as they continued their journey, not halting or flinching the least.
Unknown to the Heavenly Emperor guardian, his actions were perceived before he could even act. His little charade was but childish fidgeting in their eyes.
But as the group traveled, Patrick, with an impassive expression, suddenly halted; his speed going from thousands of times the speed of light to zero. The others also immediately halted mid-traffic.
Their sudden stop caused chaos in the desolate tunnel as millions of desolate whale beasts tried to dodge ramming into the halted group. Disrupting traffic and even causing millions of accidents, with desolate whale beasts slamming into each other and shattering their protective barriers, inviting the chaos energy in the desolate tunnel into the groups, pulverizing them instantaneously.
Despite the chaos, Patrick remained unreactive, hovering against the overpowering suction force inside the desolate tunnel, his cape fluttering restlessly.
"Grace, remind me again why I am going to the Desolate Realm?"
"To conquer it, Master."
"Good, then I should start with the desolate tunnel."
…
In the throne hall, the draconic young emperor witnessed the silver-haired man suddenly halting mid-traffic, his entourage halting with him. The draconic young emperor's eyes squinted with suspicion, trying to discern the young man's intentions.
The Heavenly Emperor realm guardian activated his Dao, his objective was to break the so-called concealing ability of Patrick's group and obtain their identities as his young emperor wished.
The guardian figure smirked at first, indicating his successful acquisition of his intended objective. His eyes remained glowing as his Dao began collecting knowledge about the group, their strengths, identities, and powers.
But as the collection of information continued, the guardian's face immediately lost the prideful smirk, 'Something isn't right, I am obtaining their information too easily, I don't even sense any resistance from their Daos… wait! They don't have Daos?' A baffled expression appeared on the guardian's face as he continued collecting information.
As the information collection continued, the guardian's face started turning ugly. Despite having his physical appearance wrapped in the fabrics of reality, one can easily see his facial expressions. And currently, the Heavenly-Emperor-realm guardian's face was assuming a dreadful and horrifying expression.
And the reason for this was that he was learning of the true identity of everyone in the group, one by one, his vision glowed, Time searching the history and identities of the group.
Starting with the one thousand masked beings, known as Primates, they are the first humans to exist in a realm called the First Realm, from a third-dimensional lesser realm. They all have access to an endless transcended energy provided by their god called the Absolute One*.
All of them have unlimited potential, meaning they can advance any realm or state of existence. And currently, they are all Heavenly Venerates, peak ninth stages, eleven stages above his state of existence.
But the universe evaluates their true capabilities equal to God-level state of existences, or even beyond that if accounting for the unlimited resources at their disposal and the privilege to wish for anything from their commanding Cardinal, "The Known", the red-haired man, and this is not even mentioning their God, the All Absolute One.
Next were the three hundred machines, now known by the multiverse and collected by his Dao as the Transcended Omni Droids, a set of droids that originally were just mundane machines but later evolved past the state of science and technology and became omni-existences. Their sole objective is to be the ultimate bodyguards to their God Creator, P&$#@!% A!$#@&*^% K$#%, and all who register with his bloodline and personal connections.
But even worse, the guardian learned of a greater omniscient existence that dwells within the consciousnesses of the omni-droids, an independent beyond-omni existence, known as Alpha. An existence beyond imagination.
The guardian learned of everything, not only their identities, but also their feats and potential capabilities. Becoming aware of the absolute chaos any of these entities was capable of causing. If destruction was their goal, any of these entities could exterminate multiverses with ease, especially since the least among them were Heavenly Venerates, peak-ninth stages. And all this information was presented to him in an instant.
But before his Dao was about to start collecting information about the remaining six within the group, the Heavenly Emperor guardian immediately retracted and deactivated his Dao. His eyes widened with disbelief as he stared at the group below, dread and despair plastered on his face.
'I am but a lesser 4th-dimensional existence; any of these people can delete our existence for eternity, without even allowing our reincarnation or resemblance using the memory of those who know us.'
If the least in the group were that unbelievably powerful, then how disgustingly overpowered would the rest be? And they are the leaders within the group. These thoughts sent an alarm and disrupted the guardian's superior demeanor. Especially while looking at the silver-haired young man, the fact that even the multiverse couldn't name him meant he was so powerful that Totality restricted his Dao of Knowledge and Prediction from announcing his name.
Disconnecting his Dao where he obtained information about the group through the multiverse, the Heavenly Emperor guardian noticed the silver-haired young man, who was the leader of the group, suddenly but steadily turn around, his group also turning with him as they gazed directly at their desolate whale beast.
The young draconic emperor maintained his gaze at the group as he also saw them turn around and face them.
"Our destinies are blackening, young Emperor, we must hurry! Only the Grand Guardian in the Desolate Realm can help us now." The Heavenly Emperor guardian said as he raised his palms, reality instantly trembling, then stretching his right hand outward, he made a grasping motion as the desolate whale beast instantly shrank from millions in wideness to a glint.
Shrunken, the desolate whale beast immediately exploded with raging amounts of power as it zoomed across the desolate tunnel, its speed going from thousands of times the speed of light to hundreds of millions of times the speed of light instantaneously.
Seeing this, numerous groups within the desolate tunnel reacted cautiously as they controlled their beasts to clear the path. But the instant change in speed caught millions off-guard, the tiny glint blasting through them and obliterating everything in its path as it covered millions of light years of distance in a blink.
A wave of explosion occurred around Patrick and the group, as the Ancient Chaos Dragon race entities blitzed past them, heading towards the Desolate Realm.
Maintaining a mere side-glance at the glint as it passed them, Patrick scoffed inwardly, "A worm attempting the impossible, pathetic," as reality and space folded around him, his figure travelling through time and reality in a time-nonexistent state.
The Heavenly Emperor draconic guardian utilized multiple Daos and abilities, his body constantly brimming with brighter energy and power, expending his fourth-dimensional privilege and powers as he glitched through time-space with ease, their location appearing in multiple timelines and locations simultaneously. Making it difficult for many to spot them, let alone attack them.
But unknown to him and his young draconic emperor, their enemy this time exceeded imagination and every concept of reasoning and rationality.
As they traversed millions of light years while jumping through time and space, the Heavenly Emperor guardian suddenly felt an ominous sense, his destiny, groups of golden halos around his heart, instantly blackened and began disintegrating into nothingness.
Realizing this, the Heavenly Emperor guardian closed his eyes and gnawed his teeth helplessly, "Fate has already decided, my destiny ends here," he said, as if accepting his fate.
But looking at the young draconic emperor sitting on the throne, relaxed and unbothered, the guardian saw the millions of destiny golden halos around his heart still rotating unhindered, their glow increasing as if his destiny was on the verge of ascending even.
*Sigh* "Even in the face of inevitability, the destiny of the Ancient Chaos Dragon god's avatar remains intact."
Suddenly, reality and time shattered and glitched as the Heavenly Emperor guardian and the young draconic emperor witnessed the silver-haired young man materialize in the throne hall. As reality shattered, the hundreds of subordinates within the hall were all scattered within countless realities and dimensions, erased from the scene upon the silver-haired man's arrival.
Appearing within the throne hall, Patrick stood and gazed at the only two people left.
"For even destiny to tremble in your presence, you must be from a higher plane of existence, a god's avatar, even, since not many existences have that authority."
The young draconic emperor spoke, his words unhurried and filled with majesty and overwhelming power. He still maintained a calm demeanor, his head lazily resting on his right fist, not taking the scene seriously the least, let alone the silver-haired young man.
"…" Hearing the young draconic emperor speak, Patrick remained impassive. His gaze was ignorant of the young emperor as he only stared at the guardian.
"I am young emperor-
Boom-poosh-splatter!
The young emperor was about to continue when a pitch-black staff instantaneously blitzed through the hall and mightily impaled the guardian's mouth and skull, tearing the reality fabrics and pulverizing his entire existence.
Patrick stood behind the young emperor's throne, his hand holding Limitless in the air, still in the position he had obliterated the Heavenly Emperor guardian's head.
"I didn't come to chatter, boy," he swung the staff, clearing the guts and brains from it as he turned, walked and stood sideways with the young emperor, he continued, "there is no glory in killing the boy," he then walked away from the throne, "descend into the Desolate Realm and be added to my roaster of conquered gods," he turned his head sideways as he said, "god of the Ancient Chaos Dragons."
The young draconic emperor had an impassive reaction at first, but after hearing Patrick's last sentence, his four eyes immediately glowed reddish black as he watched Patrick gently thrust his staff forward, obliterating everything before him, including pulverizing the massive desolate whale from existence and inviting the chaotic energy of the desolate tunnel into the throne hall.
But despite the silver-haired young man's blatant actions, the young draconic emperor only maintained an intrigued smile, his draconic eyes radiating with power and regality as his body pulsated with an unknown aura, protecting him and his throne from being affected by the desolate chaotic energy.
Looking at the silver-haired young man steadily drifting away, the young draconic emperor assumed a maniacal grin as he murmured.
"See you in the Desolate Realm, Conqueror Supreme, Patrick Alexander King."
