Chapter 176: The Celestial Judgment

[Monster Zone - Thousands of Miles away.]

BOOOOM!!!

A massive shockwave flattened the ancient, corrupted trees of the deep Monster Zone, sending a pulse of sheer, unadulterated energy across the territory. Hovering high in the sky, completely untouched by the gravitational forces below, Hayatobi raised his hand, holding the still-snarling head of a Lv300 Boss werewolf.

Below them were the broken, mangled corpses of hundreds of werewolves, all merciless slaughtered. The ground was painted crimson, a testament to the absolute disparity between a pack of high-tier monsters and a true apex predator.

"At least in your next life, know who to attack." He stared at the werewolf in his hand, and a single clenched of his fist, the head of the Boss shattered into blood, the rest of the body dropped, smashing into the blood soaked earth.

BOOM!!!

".....?!"

Hayatobi turned his head to the distance sky, feeling a massive fluctuation in the world’s ambient energy, watching as the sky split into two perfectly symmetrical halves.

"Now what is happening? First a powerful explosion, and now... Wait."

His silver eyes started spinning, the intricate patterns of his soul eyes locking onto coordinates far beyond the horizon, his gaze covering thousands of miles in a second.

’That is the Flameheart’s family bloodline skill!! What happened that made Delphine use such a thing!!’ He thought, recognizing the divine signature of the Imperial family. A deep sense of urgency washed over him, lowering his gaze to his bloody hand, as the blood vanished, cleansed by his sheer aura, the next moment, he took vanished, ripping through the spatial fabric to close the distance.

_

Hiding in some dense, spirit-infused bushes below the massacre, a group of five walked out, all Lv200, while the leader is a Lv300 Warrior. He was in a gleaming silver armor, armed with two heavily enchanted swords strapped to his back.

"So Lord Hayatobi is this powerful?" One asked in surprised, his arms folded across his chest, staring at the empty sky where the most dangerous man in Galaxy Fall had just been floating.

"Indeed... Why is such a person here?" A lady asked, resting her body on the muscular man standing behind her, a smug smirk on her face. Her casual demeanor masked the lethal agility of a high-tier Assassin class.

The man, easily standing 8 feet tall with the build of a fortress tank, lowered his gaze to her, then stared out at the werewolves carcasses littering the cratered earth.

"Why does it matter?"

He walked past the lady, his massive body pushing her to the side effortlessly.

"Hey! Watch it big man!!" She yelled at his back.

"Lord Hayatobi is someone at the Pinnacle of power, these monsters are useless to him." He stopped in front of a massive, heavily armored werewolf, analyzing the residual spirit energy, completely ignoring the lady.

"With the energy of this wolf, it’s clearly the beta of the pack." He raised his heavy head to the sky, acknowledging the terrifying power-scaling difference.

"To kill so many monsters with a single attack, Lord Hayatobi is truly unfathomable." He stretched his hand towards the werewolf, as it shattered into glowing, pixelated light, and forcefully condensed, forming a purple monster card hovering in the air.

"It’s just a Medium class monster. I see why he completely ignored them." He added, examining the stats on the card. For an entity like Hayatobi, such items were less than trash.

"Just stop talking and take all the cards. Yes, they are all low cards, but they are still useful to anyone below Lv200." The Leader turned to the direction Hayatobi took, staring at the darkening sky where the celestial anomaly was occurring.

’Something big is happening there, but we shouldn’t place our heads in something we can’t handle.’ He turned to the thousands of Monster cards before them, scattered like leaves in the bloody dirt.

"Take all the monster cards, we are heading back after this." He ordered, prioritizing the massive, free wealth over lethal curiosity.

"Ok, Leader."

The Leader nodded, and crossed his arms on his chest, as a Leader of an Independent mercenary group he will do anything for power, even following behind the most dangerous man in Galaxy Fall, just to reap the benefits of his discarded slaughter.

"What now leader? Should we have some fun with the ladies?" The lady asked, a smug smile on her face, clearly bored by the prospect of just picking up loot.

"...?!"

The Leader looked at her over his heavily armored shoulder, and lightly shook his head, refusing to entertain her chaotic impulses. "We’re heading back to the Base."

The lady pouted her lips, and looked away with an exaggerated sigh. "None of you guys are fun!"

The four raised an eyebrow. Even if she was just a Lv200, her unique class mechanics made her the strongest amongst the group in a life-or-death duel, so they simply ignored her childish behavior and focused on the harvest.

___

[Back To Mirabella - The Ruined Anaconda Path.]

"I think everyone should create some distance." Yakima suggested, her voice tight with awe and underlying terror, staring at the massive white gate descending from the parted sky above them. The sheer atmospheric pressure of the divine energy was suffocating.

"Do as you please." Mirabella waved her hand dismissively, not moving a single inch from her spot, her ocean-blue eyes locked onto the anomaly.

".....?!"

The group looked at one another, deeply unsettled by Mirabella’s complete lack of self-preservation instincts, and leaped backward using movement skills, creating 100 meters distance from them to escape the impending blast radius.

"I call open thee, the clouds of heavens and the judgment of souls." Delphine started chanting as her orange eyes turned pure white, completely overtaken by the ancient magic of her ancestors. A holy aura erupted from her staff, completely purifying the corrupted air of the Monster Zone.

"When heavens descends, all mortals bowed. When gods fight, mortals dies, I call upon the heavens."

BOOOOM!!!

The giant snake violently raised its head to the sky, its defensive instincts screaming as it watched the double white doors of the gate slowly opened wide, revealing a massive, pristine white eye, flowing with overwhelming holy magic. This eye was completely opposite to Mirabella’s eerie, blood-soaked Spectral Gaze; it was an eye of absolute, unforgiving divine law.

Delphine pointed her glowing staff directly at the coiled snake: "Receive your judgment."

With her absolute command, a terrifying pillar of concentrated white light shot down from the eye, breaking the sound barrier, and smashed into the Lv400 Cobra.

BOOOOM!!!!!

"HISSSSSS!!!!" The Cobra let out a painful hiss that shook the bedrock, falling heavily on the ground, rising a massive cloud of superheated smoke and dust as the holy magic rapidly incinerated its thick, magical scales.

Mirabella stood perfectly still with a wide, calculating smirk on her face, watching closely as the light blast peeled the skin of the monster, burning both its physical body and its soul simultaneously, draining its massive HP bar at a terrifying rate. And in less than one minute, the World Boss was entirely wiped out from existence, leaving nothing but scorched earth.

’Hahahahaha!!! I finally understood this skill!! Good, I can withstand it. The Dragon Empire don’t have any advantage on me now... If something goes wrong in the future, I can crush them to the ground.’ She thought with a wide sinister smirk on her face, having completely mathematically deconstructed the Empire’s ultimate trump card just by watching it once.
