Galaxy Domination Guide-Chapter 711: After door 697 in logistics
At his desk, Bai Zhongqi continuously perused various military documents. He didn’t need to lift a finger; with the movement of his eyes and the direction of his will, artificial intelligence flipped through and highlighted the materials to ensure that he could work more smoothly and efficiently.
Chancellor, casually grabbing a handful of nuts from the desk, popped them into his mouth, cracking and chewing them, all the while inputting comments and approvals on the documents with his mind.
Wearing a nightgown revealing a patch of white chest, the seductive Swarm Empress, Ling, entered Bai Zhongqi’s office like an irresistible temptation, carrying a cup of red tea in her hand as she approached him.
Resting her hands on Bai Zhongqi’s shoulders, Ling kissed the top of his head with a touch of tenderness, and Bai Zhongqi felt a soft warmth press against his face, sparking a hint of romantic fancy.
"Don’t overwork yourself. You know, these things don’t require your personal touch. There are thousands in the Empire Army’s staff headquarters doing this work," she said.
Bai Zhongqi offered her a smile and replied, "As the true decision-maker, I ought at least to have a basic understanding of the situation, right? Even though I know my decisions may not be better than those of the staff, at least I need to know what we are going through."
Ling, without further ado, took a seat on his lap, fed him a sip of red tea, and asked with a glimmer in her jewel-like eyes, "Shall I service you, my Chancellor?"
Bai Zhongqi was no longer the shy man who used to blush at an intimate moment with his mistress; typical of someone experienced, he knew how to flirt back with ease when a woman came onto him. But now Bai Zhongqi didn’t waste much time on physical pleasure, only indulging briefly before discussing serious matters with Ling.
"You see, after analyzing intelligence these past days, I’ve come to a conclusion that could be somewhat helpful to us. Our covert operative in the Snow Dragon Alliance reported that the Fallen Empire’s so-called Crystal Cube Core used to retrofit warships turns them into very powerful high-level warships. However, upgrading the fleet doesn’t mean the actual level of civilization has improved. Especially for those Snow Dragon warships, they’ve all been called away by Su Shuang as part of the Su Shuang Corps. Nevertheless, sustaining such a strategic fleet group, the Snow Dragon Alliance’s civilizations are inadequate. Most of the weaponry and shipboard equipment are manufactured by the mysterious Crystal Cube Core, without the technology being disseminated to those civilizations. Even though high-level civilization warships don’t need high-intensity maintenance, there’s still a necessity for many supplies to be provided to the Su Shuang Corps’ warships."
Ling clearly had a deep understanding of the Su Shuang Corps’ situation, adding, "Indeed, the Su Shuang Corps established logistics bases on up to six planets, exploiting the existing industrial strength of each civilization to meet the massive demands of the Corps."
Bai Zhongqi smiled and said, "Despite those civilizations of the Snow Dragon Alliance aligning with the Fallen Empire and becoming henchmen of the Su Shuang Corps, it’s impossible for the outsiders Su Shuang and Suo Kexiao to gain complete control, even while flying the Galactic Emperor’s flag. They can only disperse their logistic bases. This creates a weakness for the Su Shuang Corps. If the logistics can’t keep up, then even if Su Shuang has a strategic fleet, it can’t fully manifest its strength. This could be an opportunity for the Nuoye side’s fleet."
Ling quickly grasped Bai Zhongqi’s idea, "Are you suggesting we use the Nuoye side’s rapid response fleet to intercept and disrupt the Su Shuang Corps’ supply lines?"
"Exactly, an ancient tactic, but it could be very effective," Bai Zhongqi confidently stated.

"Another 90 seconds and the entire fleet will complete tunnel travel."
"All ships, carry out the final battle preparations."
"Innocence Air Strike Fleet, proceed with armament inspection."
Onboard the massive interstellar aircraft carrier, a series of commands were issued and executed in an orderly fashion. The military personnel from Iridium Star demonstrated a level of professionalism and competence that most civilizations in the Galaxy found hard to match.
Undergoing the same final combat preparations alongside the Innocence were thirty-five other warships, together forming the first rapid reaction squadron of the Nuoye sector fleet.
Kang Xiong served as the commander and staff officer of the Air Fleet, overseeing the pilots as they conducted armament inspections on their fighters. The Innocence was the largest main battle carrier of the Iridium Star United Empire at that stage, loaded with a significant number of fighters. Iridium Star was unique in that only its fighter craft were piloted, while all its bombers were unmanned combat vehicles.
There were more than two hundred pilots on the Innocence, but they were not only responsible for controlling their own Weilong fighters, but also for commanding dozens, and at times a hundred, drones through the cloud system.
Kang Xiong couldn’t help but take an extra glance at the female mechanic who was organizing her flight gear. With her delicate features, short golden hair, and a pair of deep blue eyes, her arrival to his fleet immediately attracted the attention of a group of men.
The lieutenant named Savannah, not yet thirty years old, had passed the Empire Army’s pilot entry selection with outstanding results. The female mechanic from Canada on Earth, with a height of 182, looked like a model when she wore civilian clothes, and several of Kang Xiong’s colleagues had already attempted and been refused when they asked her out.
This was Savannah’s first actual combat experience, and Kang Xiong decided to fulfill the duty of a veteran and give her some encouragement. At least, that’s what he told himself.
He approached the fighter and said to Savannah, "Lieutenant, don’t be nervous. Your skills are excellent. I believe you will bring victory to the Empire."
Savannah didn’t have much of a sense of identification with Iridium Star or the Chancellor. To many Earthlings, the change from Bai Zhongqi to Xiao Yu, from the Star Alliance to the United Empire, and the cultural differences of their original nation-states meant that Earth had never fully embraced allegiance. Raised in a liberal family, her parents even participated in anti-Star Alliance social activities. Savannah didn’t have any particular affection or animosity towards the Iridium Star United Empire; it was simply the interstellar civilization to which she now belonged.
What really drove her to become a pilot was her love for flying and combat.
Savannah was aware of what the Iridium Star lieutenant had in mind. She nodded, thanked Kang Xiong, and then stepped onto a maglev lift and jumped into her cockpit.
Kang Xiong watched the efficient young woman and couldn’t help but smile wryly to himself.
