When the Guardian of Scarlet Bond led Violet and Myles to the succubus chamber, it was still empty.
The Guardian of Scarlet Bond moved towards the sofa and sat, followed by Violet who took a seat on a sofa in front of her.

After a while, the Guardian of Scarlet Bond finally composed herself and said, "I did not expect for you to be a complete idiot. Did you think awakening an affinity with laws is as easy as that?"
Myles shrugged. "Well, gaining affinity also means comprehending them. Since I have the bloodline of an incubus, I might be able to awaken it, no?"
The Guardian of Scarlet Bond said, "Yes, but you should have asked for demonic martial arts, instead. At least, even if you awaken a low affinity grade with the law of shadows, what you asked for would be completely useless."
Myles did not reply. He couldn’t tell the exact reason he chose the demonic arts rather than the demonic martial arts.
The Guardian of Scarlet Bond said, "Anyway, that’s on you now. For the following days, you can rest at my villa and I will grant you access for the meantime before the opening of the Royal Academy.
