From Beast Abilities to Sect Grand Master-Chapter 202: Priorities
Lin Fan’s Primordial Earth Bastion stopped the acid venom from doing more damage beyond burning the skin.
He quickly used the Genesis Bloom ability to heal it.
With his Physique Cultivation and ability, the wounds on his skin disappeared as it healed.
Lin Fan then thrust his spear at the ground with his Dragon’s Roar Spear Thrust.
He knew that if he kept being defensive, he would slowly be worn down by the Acid Venom Scorpion.
The thrust caused the rocks and soil to explode, sending them flying everywhere.
But there was no sign of the Acid Venom Scorpion being injured by it.
Lin Fan knew he had no choice but to change tactics again.
He leaped to the four corners of the area where he was.
Marking them as he landed.
Finally, when the last corner was marked, a three-dimensional representation of the hunting ground appeared in his mind.
He could see a huge scorpion-like creature now crawling underground and moving toward where he was standing.
Lin Fan waited.
When the Acid Venom Scorpion got underneath him, he thrust his spear into the ground.
The ground shook as his Dragon’s Roar Spear Thrust caught the Acid Venom’s tail.
It tried to get away, but Lin Fan followed it using the imagery in his mind.
He thrust his spear into the ground again.
This time, the spear went through the armor of the Acid Venom Scorpion as it pierced through the body. Stay tuned for updates on novelbuddy
It struggled violently, and Lin Fan had to steady himself as the Acid Venom Scorpion burrowed its way out of the ground.
Whoosh.
The Acid Venom Scorpion’s tail came at Lin Fan’s back.
Lin Fan quickly pulled out his spear and leaped to the side, dodging the acid venom at the last minute.
The Acid Venom Scorpion turned and tried to use its pincers to snap at Lin Fan.
But Lin Fan was anticipating this, and he used the Dragon’s Roar Thousand Thrust at the pincers.
Thud.
Thud.
Thud.
The Dragon’s Roar Spear gave out slicing waves one after another.
One of the pincers cracked and exploded, spraying acid venom everywhere.
It caught Lin Fan’s face, body, and legs.
Smoke came out of his skin as the acid venom tried to burn through it.
The next thing Lin Fan saw was the Acid Venom Scorpion’s tail coming at him.
Thud.
It missed as the tail hit the ground.
Lin Fan had used the Shadow Slip ability and gotten to the side of the Acid Venom Scorpion.
Without hesitation, Lin Fan thrust his spear at the Acid Venom Scorpion’s body.
The spear gave out a Dragon’s Roar as it had taken sufficient blood.

A white glow in the form of a dragon shot at the Acid Venom Scorpion’s body.
It gnawed at it and got itself into the body.
Splatter.
Acid spewed everywhere as the Dragon’s Roar Thrust penetrated the Acid Venom Scorpion’s body.
Lin Fan was now ready for this and used the Shadow Slip ability and dodged it.
He then plunged the spear into the body and stirred the internals of the Acid Venom Scorpion with it.
This made the Acid Venom Scorpion struggle violently.
But it couldn’t reach Lin Fan on its side.
Slowly, Lin Fan felt the struggle fading as the lifeforce of the Acid Venom Scorpion ebbed away.
A familiar sound erupted in his mind.

Lin Fan tried to catch his breath as he used the Genesis Bloom ability to heal himself.
Ho Ming and Guo He Ru ran up to him when they saw the Acid Venom Scorpion stop moving.
"Wow. You really did it," Guo He Ru exclaimed as he was in awe of Lin Fan’s fighting capabilities.
He continued and said, "Now I know why you want the Heavenly Rejuvenate Pills.
"You really do need them with tough fights like this.
"But don’t worry, with my talent, these will be the best Heavenly Rejuvenate Pills the Quan Dynasty has ever seen."
Lin Fan rolled his eyes and got to work to try to get the demonic beast core of the Acid Venom Scorpion.
Guo He Ru took out a crystal container and tried to scoop some of the acid venom into it.
"What are you doing?" Lin Fan asked.
"Poisons can sometimes be a remedy. You never know when this would come in handy," Guo He Ru replied.
This gave Lin Fan an idea.
Lin Fan then cut off the scorpion’s tail and kept it inside the bracelet.
When he was done, he tried to get to the demonic beast core again.
It came at a cost.
Lin Fan’s skin was smoldered as he reached into the Acid Venom Scorpion’s body.
The acid venom scorched his skin as he dug around.
Luckily, it didn’t take long as he grabbed onto a crystal-like orb.
He quickly pulled it out, and the sleeve of his robe was burnt by now.
"Lin Fan, are you all right?" Ho Ming asked with a concerned look as he saw Lin Fan’s skin, now riddled with burn marks from the acid venom.
"It’s all right. I just need time for it to heal," Lin Fan replied as he used the Genesis Bloom ability again.
He took a look at the green-colored crystal orb in his hand.
Inside it was a silhouette of a scorpion-like creature.
After marveling at the demonic beast core, Lin Fan stowed it into his toad statue.
It was one more trump card for him to use when in danger.
By now it was getting dark, and they hurriedly went on their way back to Herb Town.
On the way, they saw many armed guild members searching in the forest for the Dragon’s Tail Grass.
When the guards saw them empty-handed again, they shook their heads.
Lin Fan shrugged and pretended that he was disappointed with the result too.
"You might have better luck elsewhere. Being alive is more important than getting rich," one of the guards even consoled Lin Fan as he saw his robe was damaged.
Lin Fan just smiled and continued his trek.
They were always the same, he thought.
But now, he had more important things to attend to.
