Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 239: Born out of lust and sin
Theo’s POV:
Lilin had done an excellent job in handling the Fae warriors. She came up with the strategy of diverting the warriors in different directions—which turned out to be successful. She managed to knock out all the warriors who were roaming in the woods. But she made one huge mistake, and for that, she is going to pay soon!
I appeared in the spot where Lilin was holding the warriors as captives. She had created a scarlet red barrier around the warriors who were knocked out and lying unconscious on the ground—but the lame Prince Darius was conscious. He was kneeling on the ground now before Lilin, and a long glossy dead rock chain was wrapped around his upper body.
That dead rock chain was made by Oberon—and now his own son is chained with it. I smiled to myself as I realized the irony. I can’t wait for the day when I could chain Oberon, just like this.
Darius raised his head up and gave me a deadly glare when I stood before him. "Release me from my chains, trickster! I dare you to release me from my chains if you have the power to fight with me and win me—"
I didn’t know if I should laugh or pity the fool who was kneeling before me. "You think that you can win me?!" I chuckled. "How many more times you should lose to me to comprehend that you are just a lame Prince with feeble powers?"
"Silver... Shadow..." he growled out like an animal. "Tease me all you want today! But one day, I am going to be your doom. I will definitely find a way to destroy your silver ...."
I gave him a tight slap on his cheek just to stop him from finishing that sentence. After receiving a slap from me, he fell silent and hung his head down.
"Just don’t forget what your place is! You might have a free pass at everything since you are Oberon’s son—but you can’t expect the same treatment from me—"
Darius smirked at my comments and said, "I know why you are insulting me. Because you are jealous of me—"
"Jealous?!" I laughed slightly. "On you? Why on Aiden’s name would I be jealous of the lame Prince?"
"Because I have a father and you don’t—"
The eight words he said pierced me directly in my heart and spread out throughout my body as pain. I gritted my teeth and tried to act as if I wasn’t bothered by his comment. But he kept on talking and increased my pain even more.
"Your father mated with your mother and left her high and dry, didn’t he?"
My breathing started to get heavy. The Anti-Angel in me was now pleading with me to get unleashed and eradicate the lame prince who was blabbing before me.
"Even after you were born, your father didn’t care even to touch you. No one even cared to pick you up when you were crying alone next to your mother’s cold corpse in the forest of the light. Do you know why? Because all were aware that you are nothing but an evil half-breed that was born out of sin and lust—"
And that was the limit of my anger. Red flames got out of my palms, and they wanted to consume the lame prince entirely. At that moment, Lilin held my hand and stopped me from striking him.
"Theodore, he is just instigating your anger. Don’t take his words to your head," Lilin said to me.
I didn’t know why but when Lilin said that, the Anti-Angel in me obeyed her words. My red flames disappeared—but my anger didn’t.
Darius smirked again and said, "Go ahead, trickster! Strike me with your flames and prove that you are really an evil half-breed. Isn’t that why you are causing chaos everywhere you go? What good can come out of a man who was born out of sin?!"
"Theodore..." Lilin yelled in my ear. " Please calm down. Think of something else. Just think of Celestia...." 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
As soon as I pictured my love in my head, my anger diminished little by little. Celestia would never forgive me if I killed Darius now. I don’t want her to hate me! For her sake, I have to ignore this lame prince.
Once I got back to normal, I frowned at him. "We all know who is really at fault here. Holy Aiden knows the sinner very well. You can’t distort the facts by pinning the false blame on me."
He blinked at me rapidly as if he had no idea what I was talking about. "You are the sinner here, trickster. Who else could it be? You are so evil that even the Nephilim clan had to let you out of the abyss of torment—"
His senseless insults were not affecting me anymore. "By telling a lie a thousand times, you can’t make it true," I commented. "And your lame father must have taught you that truth always prevails! So just wait for the day when Celestia and I became the rulers of this realm. Then everyone will know the truth—"
He started giggling like a lunatic. "Celestia will never...." he paused and chuckled a little more. "Celestia will never ever trust you again. She has vowed to kill you the moment you appear before her—"
Now it was my turn to giggle like a lunatic. "Did you know that Celestia and I reunited just a while ago?" I continued to laugh.
His expression got severe. "That is impossible," he shouted out. "Celestia will reunite with you only in your dreams—"
I smirked and replied, "It happened in reality! Now, do you understand how stupid you are in predicting someone’s nature? No matter how many lies you tell to Celestia, she will always come back to me—we both are meant to be together."
"No way," he screamed out. "You must have tricked her into it! I am warning you, Silver Shadow. Don’t dare to lay a finger on the Dawn. I won’t let you make her your sex slave again—"
