Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 220: A pretty girl stole the stone?!!
Once I took the moonstone from the surface, I whispered to Ivory to leave the spot. But she wasn’t able to do that as Laris seemed to be very much captivated with her.
He was asking her question after question on how their meeting spot was going to be. So I decided to disappear from the spot before her. Ivory will need more time to convince Laris, and I need to retrieve the moonstone before they notice me.
I disintegrated from the spot as white fumes and reappeared back in the fort. Now all I have to do is give this stone to Lilin and get her out of my hair!
Ivory appeared shortly after I did. She frowned at me viciously and said, "You definitely owe me one—"
I didn’t understand why she was mad at me. I was not the one who bored her to death with ridiculous talks. It is no wonder why Laris and Vivian have no lady lovers.
They repel the girls instead of attracting them. Perhaps I should learn that art from them—as it might come in handy for me sometimes.
Lilin was very happy when I flashed the moonstone in front of her face. She was still wearing that seductive little gown. When she saw the stone in my hand, she came running to me to snatch it from my hand.
But I didn’t give her the stone—not until our deal was completed.
"Theodore," she shouted out. "Give me my stone back—"
"Not yet, dear," I smiled. "You are not getting it anytime soon. Still, you have one little thing to do for me—"
"What is it?"
"Now, we are going to the Lowlands to invoke the lateral part of our plan. You would have to stay with us until midnight and help us in the quest. Until then, you are stuck with us—"
Lilin got frustrated. "This is not in our deal—"
"Yes, it is! You promised me that you would help me with my quest till the end. Now it is time that you keep up your promise—"
She was dejected; still, she openly didn’t show off. This shows that she really is scheming something against me. But I am not going to let her win!

Celestia’s POV:
I was pacing around the entrance corridors of the Sun Chapel restlessly. I still didn’t dare to get inside the Chapel.
Whenever I glanced at the Pew, it reminded me of how I kissed him there and embarrassed myself in front of hundreds of people. I will definitely get my revenge for that!
I waited and waited for him to arrive here in some disguise. No matter in which form he arrives, I will definitely spot him.
I still don’t get why I feel elated by his presence. Why do I thirst for his blood alone? This is so humiliating! He is my enemy—and I have these guilty desires for him.
I started to get exhausted after a while. It is going to be night soon—still, he didn’t show up. Perhaps he figured out about our plan. I knew it!
I knew that he was smart enough to sense the traps that were laid for him. He is a trickster; how can someone trick a trickster?
When it was evening, Laris and Vivian came running to the Chapel. They seemed to be anxious. Darius, who was patrolling the entrance along with me, got furious when he saw them.
"What the hell are you two doing here?" he shouted at them. "You two are supposed to be guarding the moonstone!"
They both just flinched and said nothing. I sensed that something terrible must have happened to both of them.
"How could you two leave the moonstone unattended?" Darius continued to bash them. "What if someone spots the stone and steals it?"
"I am sorry to say this, but I think that it has already happened," Darius replied. "Someone had already stolen the moonstone when we were distracted—"
Darius’s anger reached its peak. I don’t remember seeing him madder than this. For a moment, I was more worried about Laris and Vivian than the moonstone.
"How could you two be this careless?" Darius continued to scream at them. "You were given one simple job! All you two had to do was to guard the stone. What were you two doing while the trickster stole the stone?"
Laris trembled and answered, "We both were combating with each other, and a pretty girl arrived. We both were talking to her, and when she left, the stone was gone too—"
"A pretty girl stole the stone?!" I asked them.
"No, she didn’t," Laris replied. "The pretty girl was in front of us the whole time. She couldn’t have stolen it—"
Vivian, who was silent for this long, started lashing out at Laris."You fool! Do you still think that she is innocent? She was distracting us both, which paved the way for the trickster to steal the stone—"
So the pretty girl must be one of his Siren girls. I bet that she must be Ivory.
Vivian then turned to Darius and said, "It is all his fault! He was flirting with that girl although I warned him not to—"
"You both are equally responsible for this! I would have to reprimand you both later—"

Darius was still not able to believe that his strategy had failed—while I anticipated something like this to happen.
"I told you before," I yelled at him. "I told you that it is impossible to trick him with strategies like this."
He didn’t argue with me as he knew that he was wrong here. Then I felt that we were now making a huge mistake by doing nothing.
"We can still capture that trickster if we go to the fort now," I shouted out.
Darius finally came back to his senses. "Fine! Let us leave now. Let us gather the troops and surround the fort...."
Finally, he agrees with me! I hope that we succeed in capturing him before he leaves the land.
