Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 218: Temper of an Anti-Angel
Theo’s POV:
We all were seated around the round wooden table in the room that I was staying in. Ivory was on the opposite chair to Lilin—and she was frowning at her clothing choice.
And Samuel was secretly admiring Lilin when she wasn’t looking at him. At least Lilin managed to impress someone with her sexy dress.
"So, what is your plan?" Ivory asked me. There was no enthusiasm in her voice. She has been acting like a snob ever since we got here. Her attitude is pissing me off—but I decided not to make a big deal out of this.
"Before I say my plan, I would like to remind you all what our goals are," I began. "We have three goals. The first one is to retrieve the moonstone, and the second one is to capture the lame prince Darius. Our final and most important goal is to rescue Celestia from her cage—"
Ivory rolled her eyes at me and said," I am sorry.... Did you just say that you want to rescue Celestia from her cage? Your actual words must be like—I am going to abduct Celestia and imprison her in my own cage."
She is doing that again! Once again, I decided not to make a big deal out of it.
I smiled at her and said, "Celestia is lost without me—and Oberon and her friends are filling her mind with lies. She is losing her sanity—"
"She.... doesn’t.... needs... to.... be... saved," Ivory stressed out that line. "All she wants is you to leave her alone! When are you going to understand that?"
And that’s the end of my patience. Even though I had the dead rock resting in my sheath, my eyes flared up red—as my anger awakened the Nephilim in me.
Ivory got scared. "Theo.... Just calm down... I didn’t really mean it—" she said.
But my anger kept on increasing. Then bright red flames came out of my palms which sacred Ivory even more than before.
Samuel immediately got up from the chair and ran to the corner of the room. Lilin was the only one who was not scared of me. She held my hand and whispered something in the Enochian language, which even I wasn’t able to hear clearly as her voice wasn’t audible.
But she managed to suppress my rage entirely. Only after my eyes got green, Samuel returned back to his seat.
I thought only the gifted Sirens like Cynthia and Amelia could tame me. But Lilin managed to suppress me in a second.
I glanced at Lilin and asked her," How did you even do that?"
"I am an Anti-Angel too! Did you forget that?" she beamed. "And you clearly have no control over your Nephilim powers. You will need a mentor for that—"
"I can control myself if I try! I was able to conceal my powers for this long—"
She chuckled slightly and took out the glossy little dead rock stone from my sheath. She placed it on the table and said," Are you seriously going to hold on to this tiny little stone for all your life? And now it has become evident that even this is not going to help you in suppressing your rage—"
I didn’t respond to her—as I was able to sense what she was trying to do. She wants to get close to me by becoming my mentor! Does she think that I am a lunatic to make the same mistake over and over again?
"Come on, Theodore," she pushed me. "You know how hard it is for us Anti-Angeles to suppress our temper—"
She was not wrong on this, though. Ever since I acquired this power, it has been a challenge to me to suppress them and use them when it is needed.
Unlike the light force in me, this Nephilim force is vast and uncontrollable. After I got out of the deep abyss, I devoted my time to come up with a way to master the Anti-Angel in me.
I think that I succeeded in it when I found that I could control both of my forces and mingle them with the dead rock.
It is disappointing that even dead rock won’t be able to help me at all! I wondered how Lilin does this. She whispered something in the demonic language and subdued me.
Perhaps that is the key. The answers to my questions are in the demonic scripts! Then I don’t need Lilin’s help in this; I can figure this out by myself.
I leaned back on my chair and replied to Lilin. "That is something to think about in the future. Now we have a quest to fulfill; shall we just focus on that?"
"The door is always open for you, Theodore," she winked at me. "I am always ready to be your mentor again—"
Only in her dreams will that happen! Who would willingly associate with the princess of darkness?

After that, Ivory didn’t dare to oppose my goals. Even Samuel was deadly silent. Nothing scares everyone more than witnessing an Anti-Angel for real.
When I explained to Ivory about my plan in detail, she was petrified.
"No...." she cried out. "There is no way in hell I am doing that—"
"Yes, you have to—" I insisted. "Those clowns Laris and Vivian have got their eyes on you. If you push them a little, they will definitely spill out everything—"
Still, she wasn’t convinced. Ivory always disliked the idea of seducing her opponents; she wanted to slay them while she was on the same battlefield as them.
"Fine," she sighed after a while. "I will do it! But this is the last time I am going to seduce someone for the sake of the quest—"
"So I believe that everything is settled now," I retorted. "And I forgot to add one more thing! Once we retrieve the moonstone, we have to flee to the Lowlands immediately and establish our lateral part of the plan. There should be no delay in that—"
