Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 197: Is he around here?!

Celestia’s POV:

There is just a week left for my coronation. Except for me, everyone else was waiting for that day. And I wished that I would find a secret portal that would lead me back to the mortal world.

I laid wide awake in my bed and stared up at the dark ceiling above me. I don’t remember the last time when I had a good sleep! Have I become an insomniac?

My life was fine until I was just a Half-Vampire and a fashion designer. Ever since I arrived here, all I am able to feel is misery.

But surprisingly, yesterday, I was able to feel happiness, at least for a while. But the reason for that was the Dark-Haired Man. Strangely, he reminded me so much of Silver Shadow.

I still remember the day I saw him in the fashion studio. Just by looking at his alluring green eyes, my soul was soothed. The Dark-haired man’s brown eyes had the same effect on me!

What if... What if he is Silver Shadow? But that is not likely to happen. He possibly can’t be him! If it were him, then my father would have felt his presence.

Father Oberon can detect the powers of everyone around him. Even if someone gets in the castle in disguise, my father can see right through the enchantments. So that Dark-haired man is not Silver Shadow!

But why am I attracted to him? He is just a normal Fae. Darius told me that he is the son of the Perspicacious Fae Lord Samuel. Why am I not attracted to any other Perspicacious Faes?!

My room got bright as the sun became visible outside my window. I should probably go to the castle gardens now. Edwin must be waiting for me.

He told me that he would train me every day until my suppressed powers come out. But I was too drowsy to get out of my bed. And surprisingly, I was even sleepy! Why am I sleepy now? Where was this sleep yesterday night?

I tried to get up from the bed, but I was not even able to move a little. My hands and legs felt extremely numb. Then I shut my eyes tight and fell into slumber.

I was in a completely unfamiliar location. Around me, there was a bed with a red mattress, and lavender-scented candles were lit up everywhere in the room.

I always liked the scent of lavender! It is the best fragrance in the whole world, next to the Peonilla flowers.

Just when I was relishing the fragrance of the lavender, I heard a deep voice call out my name. "Celestia.... My love! Turn around and look at me."

My heart froze in horror. It is him! He is standing right behind me.

"My sweetness, you know that I am not going to hurt you! Just acknowledge me for once. Give me a chance to explain myself."

I didn’t dare to turn and face him. I despised him so much that I wanted to sink my fangs at his neck and drain all the blood from his body.

"Just do it, Celestia! Just kill me. It is better than living with you hating me."

He is tempting me again with his words. I should not fall for him. Perhaps I should fulfill his wish and kill him!

He has caused me so much trouble in the past. He separated me from my father and my friends. He manipulated me into doing so many things against my will.

It is now time that he pays for his sins. When I turned around to him, I was completely dazed. His angelic white wings were spread out, and his eyes were glittering scarlet-brown.

"You will never be able to find peace without me, Celestia! Because you and I are incomplete without each other."

I immediately woke up screaming out loud. What the hell did I just see now? This must be a vision! So this is most likely to happen in the future anytime soon.

What hit me the most was his eyes. They weren’t sea-green anymore! They were so deep red in color that they almost looked brown to me.

I have seen his eyes change color before. Every time his demonic side gets over him, his eyes turn red. He has always been an Angelic Demon!

It took me a while to connect the invisible lines. His eyes were brown! The Dark-haired man, too, had brown eyes. Does that mean that he is actually him?!!

No, this can’t be true! My father would have sensed his presence. And this vague logic doesn’t prove that the Dark-haired man is Silver Shadow. I need more proof than this to confirm the truth!

His eyes were scarlet brown because of his Demonic side! It doesn’t have to mean that he is actually the dark-haired man. Perhaps I am just overthinking here!

Still, I should not take any chances. I should monitor him when he is around me. If I find anything suspicious, then I would have to alert everyone.

My people’s life depends on me now. The last time he was in the Highlands, he had killed a hundred Faes. If I am not alert, then he will probably do something like that again.

After that, I got suited up in my warrior robes and armor and went out to the castle gardens. Edwin was seated on a rock under the shade of the Chestnut tree. I made him wait for so long! But my vision is the reason why I am late.

When Edwin saw me, he immediately got up from the and came near to me. I expected him to yell at me, but he was calm.

"Celestia, shall we begin the training?"

"Okay! And are you not mad that I arrived late?"

"No, why would I be? I know that you are already going through a lot."

Edwin is so sweet! He is the only one who actually gets me. At that moment, my senses got elated again. Is he around here?
