Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 169: I am the Demon Princess Lilin

"Your Majesty, I would advise you to get in the castle in disguise and stop the coronation from happening."

Just when I thought that I could rely on him, he says something silly like this! Or perhaps he is just hoaxing me.

"Listen carefully to me, Fae! You know that it is impossible for me to conceal the Anti-Angels powers that are running in my veins. Even if I go there in disguise, the lame King will be able to sense my presence. How can you even suggest such a silly strategy like this to me?"

"No, your Majesty! You have got it all wrong. You can conceal your powers and shapeshift into a different person."

I got more and more confused as I kept on listening to him. "Okay, now tell me how I can conceal my powers?"

He trembled and said," Your Majesty! I am sorry to say this. You have to come up with that by yourself. I will assist you in some ways. But I can’t meddle in the cycle of nature as it is against my principles."

I tried hard to control my temper after I heard his response. What cycle of nature will be broken if he gives me a little clue and helps me out?!

Lilin’s POV:

There is no better feeling than winning a battle! I am highly addicted to this drug called victory. No matter how crossed my paths are, I always find a way to break all the bridges and reach the end.

I hate losing more than I hate the creatures of light. This is me! I am the Demon princess Lilin, and there is no powerful entity other than me in all three realms.

The night sky was starry in the streams of Ashland hills. Even though there was no moon in the sky today, the stars lit up the whole stream banks brightly. This is a one romantic night!

But surprisingly, I wasn’t not romancing with the handsome Incubus Prince Aaron. Instead, I was fighting with him!

"Get down on your knees now," I shouted at him and pointed the sharp end of my grey spear to his neck.

A smirk formed on his seductive lips. Even though I was in no mood to yield to him, I wasn’t able to restrain myself from admiring his gorgeousness.

I reminded myself that it is not my fault that I fall for him every time. He is an Incubus! And no one can resist their temptations when a tall, muscular man with sturdy shoulders and devilishly attractive facial features is smiling at you.

Still, I didn’t give up! I won’t give up even if the Demon god appears before me and commands me to do so.

Aaron accepted my challenge and picked up his spear from the ground. I made the first attack by striking him with my spear. A clinking noise erupted when the rods of our spear collided. He smirked at me again and commented, "Sweetheart, you need to do better than this if you want to win me."

His insult awakened the fire in me. The grip on my weapon tightened, and I took a step back from him. For a second, Aaron was confused by my gesture. I made use of that precious second and whacked his hand with my spear.

He winced out in pain and dropped his weapon down on the ground. "I did it," I shouted out. "You are armless now. So I won! I am the winner."

Aaron shook his head and said," Sweetheart! This is not called winning. You just knocked out the weapon from my hand. The rule of fair combat involves battling with an opponent until one of them drops the weapon down on the ground out of their own will."

I chuckled at his explanation. "I don’t always play by rules, Aaron. All I want is victory! For that, I would break all the rules and create my own rulebook. The rest of them can either follow my rules or dig their own graves by turning against me!"

Aaron wasn’t even intimidated by my words. He is the only man in the Shadow Realm who isn’t scared of the Demon Princess Lilin!

No matter how hard I try to terrorize him, he just gives me a smirk and makes me fall for him. Much to my surprise, I am able to see myself slowly falling in love with him. This is not good for me!

The last time when I fell in love with someone, he broke my heart so badly and chose a weakling over me. I still haven’t gotten my revenge for that. Silver Shadow is the only man to whom I have lost myself.

Now I am losing myself to someone again! I can’t let this happen. No matter how charming he is, I should not fall for him head over my heels as I did in the past.

I am not going to repeat the same mistake twice by letting another man inside my heart.

"Aaron, did you forget the rules! The loser has to get on his knees."

"But just now, you said that rules don’t matter," he argued with me.

"Your rules don’t matter! But mine does. Now do what I said," I instructed him.

After that, he flashed a charming smile and knelt before me. This is the right way to treat all men. They should always kneel in front of me and treat me like a goddess!

Men are not so different from the wild beasts of the Shadow forest. They always need to be tamed and put in their place like a pet. I gently patted his reddish-brown hair with my fingers.

"You are a good boy," I said to him. Just like this, I will keep him under my control forever. If he ever tries to backstab me, then it will be his last day.

Suddenly, I found myself falling to the ground. But fortunately, I landed on the semi-naked body of Aaron. How did this happen? Did he just trip me down and made me fall on the ground?
