Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 158: The Fae Houses
Celestia’s POV:
I was dazed for a moment as my father listed out the abilities that the Fae kind had now. What fascinated me the most was that all of this has happened because of me! My sacrifice has paid well for my people.
Father Oberon pointed his finger at the greenish flag that had a golden flower symbol in the center of it and said, "This flag represents the house of healer Faes. They were very few in number before. But after your sacrifice, the number of Healer Faes has increased to a greater extent than I had to create a separate house for them."
It is good to know that the healer Faes have increased. In the event of the battle, they are the ones who will save lives.
Then my father pointed at the next flag that was purple in color and had a symbol of a crystal ball in it. "This represents the perspicacious Faes. I believe that you know about them as they existed before."
"I remember about them," I replied swiftly. " Perspicacious Faes has the psychic resistances from all the enchantments, and no Fae or Siren can be able to read their mind even with or without physical."
"Yes, my child! But now they also can see the future."
That seems to be amazing! I think that I should ask the perspicacious Faes about what the future holds for me.
Father Oberon then began to explain about the flag that was blue in color and had the symbol of an eye on it. "This flag represents the Wisdom Faes," he said. "They are basically scholars and intellectuals. They form the strategy and aid me in making important decisions regarding the welfare of the Kingdom."
This seems new! This kind of Faes never even existed in the past. The flag next to it seemed very different. It was greyish in color and the symbol of a spiral in it.
"Are these kinds of Faes are new too?" I asked him.
"You are right, Celestia! They are new. They are the spirit Faes. Their capabilities include shapeshifting and teleporting from one place to another through the air. In case of a war, these kinds of Faes will be very helpful to us," he explained.
I was at the peak of amazement! My sacrifice has aided everyone more than I actually thought that it would be.
My father didn’t have to explain to me about the flag next to it. It is the good old golden yellow flag that had the symbol of the sun in it. It obviously represents the warrior Faes.
"For the last thousand years, we were able to live in peace because of you," he confessed to me.
"I am glad that I was able to save everyone," I replied to him.
He patted my head and said, " You not only did save everyone, Celestia. You also made your Father so proud! But even though the last thousand years were peaceful, I wasn’t able to enjoy peace as you were not with me!"
His pale blue eyes got watery as he continued to talk. " I was so traumatized by your death that I didn’t sleep and eat for days. The force of light got stronger, but my body began to get weaker day by day due to grief! A month after your death, I was literally on my deathbed."
"Father," I gasped. " Why did you have to torture yourself like that?"
"Because my heart wasn’t able to accept the fact that you actually left me. Even when that trickster took you away from me, I was able to sleep well as you were alive! But when you died, a little part of me died along with you."
"Father!" I began to sob along with him.
"No healer Fae was able to heal me from my grief! Then Darius was the one who brought me back to life. He told me that I wouldn’t be doing any justice to your sacrifice if I keep on lying sick on my deathbed. I didn’t want to make your sacrifice become a waste! So I immediately got up from my deathbed and resumed my duties!"
"Father!" I gasped. " Then how did you get better?"
"Just by thinking about you every day," he responded. "Then I realized that you were not just my daughter!"
My heart froze as I heard him out. What does he mean by I am not his daughter anymore?
Father Oberon then bowed down to me like everyone else usually does. "I am sorry for treating you like my daughter, Celestia! Because you were never meant to be my daughter. You are an Angel, and I should have treated you like a deity!"
"Father, No!" I screamed and made him stand up straight. "Please don’t say something like this again. I never wanted to be an Angel! And I don’t feel proud when someone sees me as a deity. The only thing that makes me proud is when I am recognized as the mighty King Oberon’s daughter! I request that you keep on treating me as your daughter."
My father was stunned as I said out everything that I had in my heart. "My child, in your previous life, I forced you to drink the venom of Nosferatu and banished you from my land more than twice. Are you not furious at your old man for causing you this much trouble?"
"No," I cried. "Father, why would you even ask such questions to me? I deserved all those punishments because I sinned. I was the one who misunderstood you! I believed all the lies that he told me and thought that you are an immoral person. So I deserve this curse!"
He watched me in awe as I continued my speech. "From now on, I will strive hard to fulfill all of your commands. I will be the daughter that you always wanted me to be!"
"Celestia, I am delighted that you finally understood me! But I don’t just want you to be just my daughter or warrior anymore."
"Then what do you want me to become, Father? Please tell me the word!" I asked him in an eager-filled tone.
