Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 141: I want to slay Lilin now...

Celestia’s POV:

My Angelic powers got awakened as I got furious at Cynthia. "It looks like you have made your choice. Now get ready to face the repercussions!"

I unleashed the bright golden yellow flames in her direction. But even before it could hit her, she disappeared from my eyesight as white fumes. Since she disappeared, my flames just hit the mattress that was behind her.

The four-poster bed was on fire now, but I could care less about it. My target was to strike at Cynthia, but she vanished! So far, I thought that she is just a Mean Queen. Now I comprehended that she is a Mean and also a Cowardly Queen!

Whatever! I should not waste another one of my precious seconds here. I hope that I can still save the forest! Before I opened the portal, I prayed to the Holy Aiden that I shouldn’t be too late!

But Cynthia reappeared before me again and interrupted me. "Celestia, you have got to trust me! I have no intention to deceive you. I know what will happen to you if you go there, and I want to stop that from happening to you."

She spoke in a sweet and alluring tone to control me. Fortunately, she wasn’t able to control me as my Angelic powers were evoked.

"Okay, I am sorry for using my alluring power on you. From now on, I’ll never try to control you again! But you have to trust me now, Celestia."

"Why would I even trust you?" I fired at her.

At that moment, white smoke appeared in the room, and Ivory emerged from it. She was stunned for a moment to see me as my whole body was gleaming like gold. She then stood in front of Cynthia like a shield and faced me.

"Don’t ever think about hurting our Queen," Ivory shouted at me. " You can be the Dawn, but I have more skills than you when it comes to combat! I can defeat you within seconds."

I chuckled a little and said, " Are you seriously challenging me?"

"Yes, I am," she responded.

I can’t help but admire her courage. She knows the depth of my powers. Still, she challenges me in order to protect her Queen!

"Come on, Celestia. Let us do this!"

"No, stop...." Cynthia shouted and came in between us.

She then turned to me and announced," Celestia, you can go now! I am not going to stop you."

That was easy! I thought I would have to fight neck to neck with them. Why did Cynthia suddenly change her mind and agreed to let me go?

"Because I understood that it is impossible to trick the fates no matter how hard one tries," she responded to me. "Whatever is meant to happen will always end up happening!"

She is trying to confuse me again with her words. But I am immune to her manipulation. Anyway, I should leave this place immediately. I have a forest to save!

I was only able to scream after I stepped into the forest of light. The afternoon sun was blazing in the sky. Along with that, the whole forest was blazing too!

The once glorious Peonilla trees were burning down to the bits. All the green leaves and the flowers had turned into ashes. I can’t save those trees anymore!

With a heavy heart, I walked away from the spot and went deep into the forest. Maybe I can save the other plants and trees that are not yet turned into ashes.

It was so painful to see that most of the trees were already burnt out. I am too late! I should have come here when I got the message from the firebird.

But the Mean Queen distracted me! She manipulated me and wasted my time. Is she the one who set fire to this forest? I don’t understand what she gains from this?

I felt suffocated and sweaty as I got deeper in the woods. I was entirely surrounded by the smoke and fire.

When I was about to give up hope completely, I noticed that the Ruby trees were still not burned down. They were partially on fire. I still have a chance to save them!

I tried hard to put off and neutralize the fire with the help of my golden flames. But whatever I did only raised the fire even more. Oh my goodness! What have I done here?!

Only a few branches of the Ruby trees were burning before. My flames instigated the fire, and now the whole tree was burning down!

I began to weep out loud and helplessly watched the juicy ruby barriers becoming ashes! This tree was special to me. Ever since I was a kid, I came to this forest for solace. I used to talk to these tall Ruby Berry trees even when they couldn’t reply to me.

I walked away from there as soon as I could. This is all hard to accept! Even in my vision, it wasn’t this brutal. What can I do when my worst nightmare comes true?

I reached the spot where I took the Oath of Eternity with Theo. It happened right under this oak tree. Theo and I had our best moment here. This is where I declared my love to him.

Now the enormous tree was burning down right in front of my eyes, and I wasn’t able to do anything about it.

My whole body was drenched in sweat from all the heat. My mind was dazed in shock that it took me a very long time to realize that this fire was not normal. If it were a normal fire, then I would have been able to subdue it.

My flames have the potential to neutralize the ordinary fire. But this fire got stimulated when I tried to put them off! So this fire must have been commenced by an extremely powerful entity like Nephilim!

Lilin did this! She knows how much I liked this forest. In the past, Lilin and I even fought in this spot. She did this to torment me! But she is going to pay for this! I will not rest until I make sure that she has perished.

I want to slay Lilin now!
