Chapter 123: My Friends...

Celestia’s POV:

I lost my sleep entirely after that. I got down from my bed and kept on pacing restlessly around my room. What am I going to do now?

Theo is locked up in a dark place somewhere. I have no idea where he is? How can I save him now? He was about to say where he was. But Darius woke me up! Why did he wake me up exactly at that moment?

I guess that Princess Lilin has overpowered Theo. She must have imprisoned Theo in some dark place in the Shadow Realm. That is why Theo told me to gather all the warriors in the Lowland.

But the Lowland warriors are not enough to stop the Shadow creatures of Lilin. If we get help from the Highland Faes, then we will be able to defeat them.

I should talk about this to my father. I know that he won’t agree with me. But I have no other choice than this. If I don’t act now, then I will never be able to rescue Theo.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I waited and waited for the sunrise. Father Oberon never wakes up until the sun comes up in the sky. In case if someone wakes him before that, then he won’t hesitate to curse that person.
From the window, I was able to see the land was getting brighter. He is going to wake up soon!
I opened the door of my closet and took out my old warrior suit. In my opinion, this is my second favorite type of dress after short gown.
I stripped down from my long gown and stood in front of the mirror. The heart patterns of golden love marks which Theo gave me on my chest the other day were still there. But he is not there with me!
I hastily put on my suit and got out of my room. Father Oberon must be awake now. I should somehow convince him. A big surprise was waiting for me outside the room.
All my ten Fathomless warrior friends were standing outside my door. I lifted my eyebrows at them. Why are they here now?
Laris stepped forward and said, "Celestia, it is so good to have you back! There has not been a day when we all didn’t miss your presence."
Edwin was the next one to speak. It was odd that he was still carrying his bow in his hand. Then I noticed that every one of them was carrying weapons in their hands.
"Did you all skip your training?" I looked at Edwin and asked him in particular. He always follows the rules as if his life depends on them. Did he really break the rules? This is hard to believe for me!
"Yes," Edwin replied. "We all skipped the training just to meet you."
They are so kind! But I can’t spend time with them. I have to talk with my father now.
"Okay, my friends! Would you please go back to the cliff and continue with your training? I don’t think that Darius will be happy when he comes to know that you all have skipped the training."
Edwin wasn’t a little tense when I mentioned Darius. Usually, all the Fathomless warriors are afraid of Darius as he is a very strict mentor.
"We don’t have training today. Master Darius canceled the training and permitted us to visit you here," Edwin replied to me.
Something is strange with Darius. This is not even him! He never cancels the training, even if it rains or storms. One day it rained heavily on the cliff. Still, he kept on teaching me about the various methods of using a dagger.
Honestly, I don’t have time to deal with this. I should talk to my father now! I shudder every time when I picture Theo lying on the ground helplessly in a dark place. Every moment I delay now is a threat to him.
"It is nice to meet you all! I will see you later," I said and tried to walk away from them.
But Vivian stood in front of me and stopped me from leaving. "Celestia, you can’t abandon us now. We all were looking forward to roaming around the Northern mountains with you. At this time of the season, juicy and big ruby berries grow in there. Let us all go there now!"
I sighed out and said, "I am really flattered by your invitation! I would come with you, but I have to take care of something now. Will you all please excuse me?"
I moved away from Vivian, and I was about to leave the spot. Then suddenly, I heard someone crying out loud. I immediately turned on my heels. It was Ember!
Is she crying? This is even more strange than Darius canceling the class because she never cries! Why are strange things happening around me today?
"Ember, what happened to you?" I said and moved closer to her.
She had her face covered with her hands. "I am so mad at you, Celestia. You said that I am your friend, but you didn’t care to even look at me."
She is crying because of this reason? When did she get so silly?
"I am sorry, Ember! I didn’t mean to ignore you. I have something to take care of, so can you please excuse me now?"
"What is more important for you than spending time with your friends? I think that you are ignoring us on purpose," she sobbed and said.
"Holy Aiden," I screamed out in frustration. "My lover is imprisoned in a dark place now. I have to rescue him before something bad happens to him. But all of you are not allowing me to do that!"
Ember stopped sobbing and wiped off the tears from her cheeks. The rest of them were frozen after that. At least now they should leave me alone. That is what I expected them to do.
"We all are here for you, Celestia," Edwin shouted. " We are going to help you with this."
"Thank you so much, my friends! But first, we have to get the approval of Father Oberon."
