Chapter 580: Sacred Bow’s Radiance

"Besides, the treasures I’ve invested are worth exactly what I’ve gained... and also..."

Nita gazed at the sky, Lein’s silhouette naturally surfacing in her mind.

Fanny tilted her head, catching that familiar expression. "Your brother again? You’re waiting for him, aren’t you?" she teased mercilessly.

She’d heard Lein’s name from Nita’s lips far too many times. Deep down, she was curious too, what kind of man could rise to Guardian in such a short time?

"By the way, how’s your Sacred Bow training going? Getting the hang of it?" Fanny asked curiously.

"Not bad. But I’ll need a few more weeks to master it," Nita replied, raising her hand.

From the empty air before her, a bow slowly materialized.

The bow stretched over two meters long. Its frame was transparent, like flawless crystal, with white light ribbons fluttering gently at both ends as if alive.

Fanny’s gaze remained casual. She reached out, gripped the bow firmly, and drew the string without hesitation. She aimed it skyward, then glanced at Nita.

"How about it? Can you draw it this far yet?" she asked, her tone clearly showing off.

Nita just smiled happily at her friend. Fanny had been the one to teach her the Sacred Bow, but Nita needed time to truly master it.

"Not yet. Only about halfway," Nita admitted honestly.

Fanny nodded lightly. "Don’t worry. Once you can draw it this far, even a Tier 2 King won’t stand a chance," she said casually.

She pulled the bowstring even harder. Golden light instantly blazed at the string’s tip, forming a pure arrow of energy.

Nita watched the bow with eyes full of awe. Tremendous power radiated from it, stirring the surrounding winds into a frenzy. Even Fanny’s distant attendants felt the effect, their legs weakened, hearts pounding wildly, as if compelled to kneel.

Fortunately, Fanny kept the Sacred Bow’s aura contained. When the energy peaked, she released the arrow.

WUSH!

The white energy shot forth at light speed, piercing the sky and void. Moments later, a massive explosion erupted, shattering a chunk of the emptiness beyond Heavenly Sky Realm. The torn space trembled, needing ages to recover.

Ordinary people couldn’t see the impact, much less comprehend the bow’s power. But Nita knew. As a Rank 1 King, her vision reached the realm’s outer edges.

Fanny flashed a small, satisfied smile and turned to Nita.

"See? Impressive, isn’t it?" she asked with a proud smirk.

Nita nodded seriously. "Yeah. Really cool," she murmured. Deep down, she genuinely wanted to wield it herself someday.

With that, Fanny stored the Sacred Bow back in her spatial ring. The two then walked toward the royal palace.

Inside, they enjoyed dishes Nita had personally prepared and cooked, before finally leaving the palace, ready for the auction.

The situation in Heavenly Sky Realm remained stable. With the vast wealth and foundations Lein left behind, Nita propelled the realm toward unprecedented advancement. She didn’t sit idle waiting for his return, she actively forged alliances with neighboring realms.

Following Lein’s initial guidance, she fully utilized the twelve core members. Critical tasks were clearly delegated, and just as Lein predicted, once she stopped trying to handle everything alone, Heavenly Sky Realm’s progress skyrocketed.

Not only did the realm’s interior expand continuously, filled with cutting-edge technology adapted from surrounding realms, but its outer layers... from orbital rings and defense fleets to interstellar port networks, also developed rapidly, gradually forming the silhouette of a true galactic fortress.

Orbital Defense Ring - Sector Alpha.

Billions of massive steel bracelets orbited Heavenly Sky Realm’s protective barrier, reflecting distant starlight from the void and the soft glow of ever-burning defensive runes. From afar, the sea of rings resembled a constellation forming a crown around the planet’s neck, brimming with cannon towers, spear-shaped satellites, and bustling spaceports.

Along their outer edges, hundreds of Earth Legion warships patrolled in formation, their hulls adorned with Earth’s emblem and faintly shimmering magic formation patterns, as if breathing in sync with the rings.

At Sector Alpha’s command bridge, a three-dimensional hologram displayed the slowly shifting sea of stars, complete with orbital paths, fleet positions, and the vital pulse of the realm they guarded.

"Outer sector patrol report," said a young officer, eyes fixed on the data screen. "No warp anomalies in standard radius. Trade routes secure."

The watch commander a gray-haired man in a black uniform with silver collar tabs, nodded slightly. "Maintain formation spacing. Don’t cluster too tight. Merchant fleets don’t like seeing too many cannons in one spot."

He gazed at the view outside: trading ships from various races passing through the ring’s inner side, entering and exiting through slowly rotating warp gates. The orbital traffic lights moved in perfect order, like healthy blood flow through the giant body of Heavenly Sky Realm.

Once, this void was wild lawlessness.

Now, under Earth’s Kingdom banner, it was a fortress.

"Recheck the status of Aegis-01 through Aegis-36 fortress satellites," he ordered. "If even one goes offline, I don’t want to find out after the stars above our heads start disappearing."

The young officer gave a wry smile. "Understood, Commander."

He had no idea his prayers would be tested far sooner than he imagined.

. . .

"Massive warp point detected!"

A panicked voice shattered the room’s calm.

Every head snapped up.

In the center of the star hologram, a black rift appeared, not an ordinary portal, but a wound torn in empty space itself. Surrounding starlight bent, drawn toward the rift, before finally... exploding outward.

One, two, three... ten... a hundred.

Warship icons swarmed the map like a plague.

"Rapid identification!" the Commander barked.

Analysis runes spun wildly, extracting data from warp energy signatures.

[Void Conqueror Alliance]

Coalition: Outer ring pirates, fringe minor kingdoms, mercenary fleet remnants from opposite sectors.

The Commander’s brow furrowed sharply.

"Ship count..." the young officer’s voice caught. "Over three hundred heavy-class warships. Many equipped with star-killer cannons."

Outside, like a swarm of iron locusts, the enemy fleet spread into a half-circle formation around Sector Alpha. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

The comms channel forced open with a crude signal.

"A good day for us, bad day for you," a heavy voice mixed with mocking laughter boomed.
