Chapter 792: Chapter 792: You Should Go Back to the Guest Room

"Don’t move."

Jasper Sinclair bent down to deal with Nora Northwood’s hair that got caught.

This kind of incident was a first for both of them, making it quite hard to resolve.

Left with no choice, Nora had to ask someone to bring scissors and cut the hair that was caught.

At the moment, it was indeed the only solution.

"Wait for me a moment, I’ll go get the scissors."

After the small mishap ended, Nora’s hair was almost dry. She put the hairdryer back in its place and then told Jasper Sinclair to go take a shower.

But Jasper said, "If you’re not ready, we can sleep in separate rooms temporarily."

Nora was very surprised; she couldn’t believe these words came from Jasper Sinclair.

She shook her head and said, "No need, I’m not as delicate as you think."

"Alright."

Jasper turned and went into the shower.

Soon, the sound of water trickled out from inside.

Nora’s mind started to wander uncontrollably; she hadn’t shared a bed with someone for a long time, and it was hard not to feel tense.

Under the blanket, her toes were tightly clenched.

Jasper stayed in the shower for quite some time, perhaps deliberately.

So long that by the time he came out, Nora was already struggling with exhaustion.

Jasper dried his hair, turned off all the room lights, leaving only the small night light by the bed, casting a dim glow, illuminating the outline of the sleeping figure. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

Nora turned over, too lazy to open her eyes, hoping to fall fast asleep.

Soon, she felt a shadow over her head.

Jasper got onto the bed but didn’t rush to close his eyes. Instead, he lay on his side, propping his head with one hand, observing Nora’s sleeping face.

When she quieted down, she seemed very gentle.

After watching for a while, Jasper, almost as if guided by some mysterious force, reached out with his other free hand, tracing the contours of her face, finally resting his fingertip on the corner of her lips.

With this little act, most of Nora’s sleepiness dissipated.

But she didn’t dare open her eyes.

To be more precise, she was afraid of what might happen between her and Jasper.

It might happen, but not now.

"Nora, can you still sleep?"

This time, Nora had no choice but to open her eyes, still looking drowsy.

The time was indeed late by old habits, about time to rest.

She let out a barely noticeable sigh, not even sure herself why she did so.

"Jasper, aren’t you sleepy?"

"Truthfully? I’m okay, maybe just not used to having someone else beside me."

"If you’re not used to it, you can sleep in the guest room."

"I just gave you a chance; you wanted me to stay. What, are you regretting it now?"

Nora pouted, seemingly in serious thought.

"Actually..."

Jasper didn’t give her a chance to regret; he immediately sealed her lips with his own.

Nora’s voice was swallowed, and instinctively she grabbed the man’s shoulders.

To Jasper, her unintended action felt like a warm invitation.

Deep inside, Nora told herself she must stay calm!

But her body was the first to surrender; around her waist, at some undisclosed time, a large hand had appeared, tracing her figure and the lines of her hips.

In a hazy confusion, Nora managed to breathe, taking in big gulps of fresh air.
