Abaddon's office was getting used less and less as of late.

According to him, every time that he stepped foot in this place the world attempted to end itself.

However, today he just couldn't avoid it. He was looking for a quiet place to sit and be alone with his thoughts.

Abaddon was busy writing in a small notebook. The contents of which were known only to him.

Eventually, he shut the booklet and let his head bounce off the wooden desk in front of him.

Oddly enough, Abaddon thought that operating in a public capacity was far easier when you didn't have to give a damn about being liked.

But now that Abaddon was becoming more conscious of his image within the public, his responsibilities were starting to feel far more taxing.

He turned his head to the side and stared at Gandora, who was curled up and staring back at him with an innocent look.

"...What's the chance you'd want to take over for me as Judicator?"

Gandora covered her eyes with her tail.

"Yeah, that's about what I had expected." Abaddon nodded.

The sourc𝗲 of this content is frёeωebɳovel.com.

That was his reaction when he got offered the job, too after all.

Suddenly, the door to Abaddon's study opened.

His mood improved almost immediately when he saw Izanami wander into the room. But the slightly green look on her face was cause for concern.

"My love..?"

"Ugh... Please just let me sit here for a minute." Izanami groaned as she crawled into Abaddon's lap.

He took a sniff of her to hopefully pinpoint the cause of her sickness. The discovery was immediate.

"...You smell like grease and confectioner sugar... Have you been spending time with Apophis?"

Izanami nodded weakly. "A-All of the children, actually... I was trying my best to bond with them and get them to like me more."

"They already like you?" Abaddon reminded.

"I-I'm aware of that now. But I still wanted to try to win a few brownie points while I could." Izanami smiled bitterly.

"So you ate lunch with him?"

"And Courtney..." Izanami nodded.

Abaddon was beginning to get a bad feeling.

"... And I'm assuming that you ate something unfit for human consumption..?"

"Apophis called it 'The Motherfucker'..."

"Christ." Abaddon rubbed his brow.

"It was two honeybuns deep fried in funnel cake batter. A layer of sour cream. Some drizzled honey. Three cheeseburger patties. Sauteed onions.."

'I could have sworn Claire was getting him to eat better...' Abaddon shook his head internally.

"And half a tomato." Izanami finished.

Abaddon knew full well that didn't make it any better.

"How much of that monstrosity did you actually manage to eat before tapping out?"

"A bite and a half." She admitted. "Bekka finished the rest."

That was by far the least surprising part of the entire story.

Abaddon spent the next several minutes trying to soothe Izanami's ailing stomach through a mixture of Pepto Bismol and ginger ale.

When she finally seemed to be feeling better, she wiped her mouth and stood up suddenly like she was ready to conquer the world again.

"Slow down, love." Abaddon immediately tried to pull her back into his lap. "None of those knuckleheads aren't going anywhere so you don't need to rush to spread yourself thin. Instead…"

Abaddon brought his lips to Izanami's and pulled her back into his lap.

Even though Izanami was just trying to leave a second ago, she didn't miss an opportunity to run her hands through her husband's hair affectionately.

Their kiss lasted only a short time before Izanami begrudgingly pulled back, and instead rested her head on Abaddon's shoulder.

Through her heavy breathing, Abaddon could hear her black heart beating at nearly a thousand miles per hour.

Abaddon felt her affectionately run her hands over his jaw and his ears. Her infatuation was evident. As was a deeper obsession.

"I think… you don't quite realize how dangerous you are, Abaddon."

"The lands I have destroyed would make it hard for me to forget.." Abaddon lightly kissed Izanami on her neck, and then slowly made his way to her exposed collarbone.

Izanami cracked a small smile as she bit her lip.

"I don't mean your capacity for destruction. I speak of only…"

"Only what..?" Abaddon paused from leaving marks on her shoulder.

Izanami smirked as she met eyes with him. For a moment, her figure was that of a deceased, grey-skinned woman who's voice echoed like a canyon.

"It's nothing. Just know that if you ever were to break my heart… I just don't know what I would do."

For someone who hated horror movies as much as Abaddon did, one would think that the current scenario wouldn't turn him on as much.

They would of course be horrifically wrong.

"Ganny, get out."

Gandora stood up without needing to be told twice.

As the scaly beast trotted out the door, Abaddon started peeling away the layers of Izanami's clothing- layer by layer until her full, supple figure was revealed.

Abaddon took one of her full, soft breasts into his mouth and slipped his hand in between her legs.

Izanami wrapped her arms around her husband's neck as familiar avenues of pleasure consumed her.

From the outside looking in, it was easy to dismiss Izanami's new marriage as one dependent on her husband's perceived hyper-sexual nature.

But in reality, it was nothing so trifling.

Every nerve in her body sang with transmitted emotion. Love, devotion, attraction, obsession, it was the strongest combination of feelings that she had ever known before.

Every time felt like the first time. It was a reaffirmation that their feelings for each other were still there, and would always remain.

Izanami couldn't believe that it wasn't just one, but eleven different people to make her feel this way.

The goddess' last, fleeting thought was of just how much she truly adored her new life and partners.

But more than that, it was of how much she just couldn't fathom anyone trying to take her away from them.

It made her realize that… maybe she hadn't quite put enough of her past to bed.

But there were always ways to rectify that.

-

Izanami wasn't sure how she had managed to get up after the night she had.

In her dream world, she had a rule not to start anything with her husband unless she had nothing to do for the next two days.

She had no idea why she hadn't thought the same rules would apply tenfold here in the real world.

Abaddon's office was a mess.

Needless to say, his desk wasn't strong enough to withstand their antics yesterday and it broke twelve seconds into the first round. They had spent the rest of their encounter on the floor in heat like animals.

Izanami lost count of the number of times she had passed out and been used so roughly that she woke up a screaming mess again.

After the second hour, the whole night became kind of a blur…

But they must've had quite the time because for some reason the girls were in here as well. Each of them sleeping, naked, and somehow equally sticky.

Izanami looked down at her sore body to check her condition. As she suspected, she was covered in bite marks of different shapes and sizes.

She wasn't the slightest bit upset about it though. She felt it complemented her tattoos perfectly.

Izanami spent a couple of more minutes stargazing before she slowly crawled out of Abaddon's arms. Though he woke up almost immediately.

"Where are you going..?" He yawned.

Abaddon glanced through the curtains and realized that the sun wasn't even out.

Izanami smiled at him sweetly and planted a small kiss on his forehead. "I just had something I needed to do outside of the house. I'll be back soon."

Ordinarily, Abaddon wouldn't have batted an eye if one of his wives said they were leaving. It wasn't as if they were joined at the hip after all.

But the fact that Izanami was the one to announce she was leaving was admittedly very surprising.

Probably because she hated leaving her house, crowds, public places, people, and… pretty much anything that had to do with socializing.

"Umm… would you like some company?" He asked.

Izanami shook her head as she stood up. "I'm afraid this is something I need to do on my own, my darling. I would ask a favor of you though."

"Name it."

Izanami pointed to a nearby wall. "May I borrow that?"

When Abaddon saw the item she was referring to, his jaw practically fell off his face.

"…I'm sorry, I really did try not to be nosy, but… where the hell are you going exactly?"

- Takamagahara

It was another day in the plane of high heaven, and Sarutahiko was still tirelessly guarding his heavenly domain against outside threats and forces.

His job was never really eventful. But over the past few moons, at least the burden on his shoulders had been lessened a bit with the addition of the Nevi'im forces.

Honestly, Sarutahiko was convinced that he didn't even have to be here anymore. He wasn't such a vain deity that he couldn't admit to being outclassed by a troupe of abyss dragons.

"Take positions!" Someone yelled.

The dragons formed a procession line above the bridge.

Bounding across the golden structure was a large grey beast that could have easily been mistaken for a kind of dragon.

On its back sat a royal palanquin that was somehow more luxurious than most houses.

Sarutahiko stood up and approached the creature with a grim smile on his face.

"That you in there, Lord Abaddon?" He yelled out. "I beg your forgiveness, but in light of recent events I am unsure if now is the best time for a visit in light of recent…"

The palanquin curtains fluttered open and a figure stepped into view.

Sarutahiko felt his jaw twitch uncontrollably as he fumbled around for his spear.

"S-Sound the alarm!!"
