Favorite of the Beast-world: I Got Rich Through Farming-Chapter 70 - 69: Plot Hodgepodge
The little cubs’ stomachaches were just from indigestion. After rolling around on the ground for ages, they all passed out from exhaustion.
After being fed a few bowls of hot soup, the little cubs began to wake up one by one. They stretched their fluffy paws to rub their big, round, grape-like eyes, licked their lips with their tiny pink tongues, and kicked their chubby little legs.
"Awoo~"
’I’m hungry again, awoo awoo. Why are Mama and Papa’s eyes so red?’
They were Beastmen, after all, and the cubs had quite strong digestive systems. Once they did their business, they were back to being lively and energetic. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
The Clan Leader and his mate breathed a sigh of relief, wiping the cold sweat from their faces. They looked gratefully at the slender, composed female.
The City Lord had thrown out Lin Xixue’s bag of flour. ’How dare a minor tribe try to fool us with such a half-finished product?!’
Fearing this incident would sour the Beastmen’s perception of flour, An Jin quickly interjected, "Flour is actually perfect for young cubs, females, and elderly Beastmen. I have some flour as well, and I guarantee it’s safe to eat!"
The City Lord’s eyes lit up. "Really?" he asked, his voice urgent. Perhaps it was her composed and calm demeanor, but he found himself inexplicably trusting her.
"Yes. Give us three days, and our Luoten Tribe will deliver a batch of completely safe flour!" An Jin’s eyes glittered.
Back at the stone courtyard where they were staying, she had Ling Hong take a few available Beastmen and find several large stones.
They ground the large stones into two flat, round discs. After chiseling out grooves, they were assembled one atop the other with a frame of clean, sturdy wood. A hole was drilled in the bottom stone for a wooden axle, and a feed-hole was carved into the top one.
And just like that, a simple, primitive stone mill was complete!
An Jin took two bags of wheat out of her dimensional space. It was the product of many generations of cultivation—the grains were large and plump, with a very high starch content, and all of them had already been hulled.
Thanks to her previous exploits in the tribe, the Beastmen didn’t question the origin of the wheat.
They deftly lifted the two bags of wheat, poured the grains into the feed-hole in batches, and then took turns using their raw strength to turn the top millstone.
The Beastmen’s strength was undeniably astonishing, and their efficiency was through the roof. In just half a day, they had ground both large bags of wheat into fine, white flour.
She scooped up a handful. The flour was as white as snow and so fine it flowed through her fingers. When she sniffed it carefully, it carried the gentle fragrance of sun-drenched plants.
This was leagues better than the flour from the Barbarian Bear Tribe!
The City Lord immediately purchased the two bags of flour for the high price of 20 Crystal Cores.
The flour was made into flatbreads and fed to the cubs. They gnawed on them with great relish, getting crumbs all over their fluffy faces. Afterward, they showed no signs of stomach upset or any other discomfort.

An Jin seized the opportunity to propose a long-term trade agreement. The City Lord was, of course, absolutely delighted. "From now on, Beast Gathering City will buy all the flour you can produce! We’ll take as much as you’ve got, just please don’t sell it to any other cities!"
An Jin’s heart swelled with joy. "Alright!" ’This is as good as having the support of Beast Gathering City. The tribe’s development will be much faster now.’
As a show of good faith, the City Lord even threw in an extra 20 large bags of salt.
’Complete quest.’

An Jin: "..."
’So it just paid off the debt from Mi Yin.’
’This system is so stingy with its Gold Coins.’
"Oh, right, dearie," the City Lord’s mate began, "did your tribe happen to bring any wild mint? You know, those nice and cool green leaves. Oof, my face is really stinging from the sun..."
The City Lord’s mate lamented, touching her red, irritated face.
The sun in the Beast World was incredibly harsh. Females, with their fragile, rough-textured skin, often suffered from skin conditions due to overexposure.
They would get red pimples, stinging rashes, or dry, cracked skin.
The wild mint native to the Beast World could alleviate these symptoms.
An Jin thought for a moment. "Our tribe didn’t bring any wild mint, but I have made a medicinal lotion before that helps with skin problems. It has wild mint in it."
With that, she took out a wooden box. Opening it revealed a half-full container of a milky-white lotion, which she handed to the City Lord’s mate.
As she applied the lotion to the stinging skin on her face, a wave of coolness spread instantly, so soothing it made her want to sigh in relief.
After she finished, the City Lord’s mate not only felt the pain in her face disappear, but the red rash spreading down to her neck had also faded considerably!
’Is it my imagination, or does my skin feel much smoother than before?!’
An Jin’s eyes crinkled in a smile, making her look like an enthusiastic salesperson. "This lotion contains some flower petals and wild mint. It can prevent skin conditions caused by overexposure to the sun, and it’s also a great help in improving skin texture..."
An outsider might have thought the young female was exaggerating, but having experienced it firsthand, the City Lord’s mate was completely stunned by its potent effects.
What female doesn’t care about her appearance?
Especially since her status meant she no longer had to worry about poverty or hunger, allowing her to focus more on her appearance and disposition.
She readily bought two portions of the medicinal lotion for 5 Crystal Cores.
In a single day, An Jin and the Luoten Tribe had earned 25 Crystal Cores and 80 bags of salt. The City Lord even gifted them an additional 20 bags.
The system notified her that her affinity with the City Lord and his mate had reached 40. This was a "Friendly" level, which meant she could make ordinary requests.
An Jin’s thoughts turned to Mi Yin, who was still waiting for her out in the wilds.
’That snake... he’s still so heavily injured.’
’I have to bring him here to recover for a few days.’
The City Lord did not approve of a Wandering Beast residing in the city, but out of consideration for An Jin, he didn’t refuse. He merely gave her a stern, repeated warning, "Since you are that Wandering Beast’s mate, you must do your utmost to restrict his movements within the city. It would be best not to let him go out at all."
"If he attacks any Beastman or causes a mass panic, we will expel him—or even kill him!"
An Jin nodded gravely. "I trust he won’t hurt anyone. If he does cause any losses, I will provide compensation!"
The City Lord nodded, pleased. His admiration for this responsible female grew. ’She really doesn’t seem like someone from an ordinary tribe.’
’Even the females from the great cities pale in comparison to her.’
After bidding the City Lord farewell, An Jin ran to the city gates by herself. The wind howled, slapping her hair across her face.
Before she could even call out, a swift RUSTLING came from the woods. The long, thick body of a black-and-red python came into view, and an instant later, An Jin found herself pulled into a cool, firm embrace.
Mi Yin wrapped his strong, powerful arms tightly around the female, his crimson lips brushing gently against her ear.
"Jin’er, I missed you so much..." ’I thought you’d forgotten me, that you didn’t want me anymore.’
