Fated To Four Alphas Even Though I Am Mute-Chapter 60: The Prophecy
Damon’s POV
We were looking at her intensely as we waited for answers. The tension kept increasing and increasing with every moment that she didn’t reply is. I could feel my brothers getting impatient beside me.
She looked at us one more time before smiling and speaking .
"No, I don’t. I’m probably mistaking her for someone else," she said.
But I didn’t believe her. Something in her voice told me she was lying. But I didn’t push it, we needed her help so I needed to act cool.
"So, what can I do for you?" she asked. Her voice was calm now.
"She’s not breathing and she has no pulse. I need you to save her," Damian said. His voice was desperate. Broken.
"Okay but know that everything comes with a price," she said. Her one eye looked at each of us.
"Anything just name it," Dylan said quickly. We would pay any price to save Heaven.
"Is she your mate?" she asked.
"Yes," we all said together.
The black witch walked to where Heaven lay. She knelt down beside her. She touched to Heavens as she began to move her other hand and to feel Heaven’s mark in her back..
"Heart curse," she said as touched multiple points on Heaven’s body.
"Please save her," Desmond pleaded. His voice cracked with emotion.
Mother Nyx stood up. She walked around the room. She picked up different bottles and herbs. She was preparing something.
"A dying heart in need of so much healing. Heaven’s light almost burned out. Almost dead," she said. She spoke like she was talking to herself.
"Which one of you can mind link with her? We’ll need you to mind link and direct her soul back to her body. The only way to do that is to be able to read her mind," Mother Nyx said.
She looked at all four of us. Waiting for an answer.
I couldn’t read Heaven’s mind. I didn’t think anyone of us could. That kind of power was rare. Amd even if anyone could we would all have known.
I lifted my head and shook my head at her.
"None of us can read her mi..."
"I can mind read Heaven," Desmond interrupted.
I turned to look at him. Damian and Dylan did too. We all stared at him in shock. He can read Heaven’s mind?
How in the world was he able to do that? And why didn’t he tell us? This was huge. Mind reading was an extremely rare gift.
"You can what?" Damian asked. His voice was sharp.
"I can read her mind. I’ve been able to do it since the mate bond formed. I didn’t know how to tell you all."Desmond said.
"Why didn’t you say anything?" Dylan asked.
"I don’t know. I thought it would go away. But it didn’t. I can hear her thoughts sometimes. When she’s emotional or upset," Desmond explained.
Mother Nyx nodded. "Good. Then you will be the anchor. You will guide her soul back."
"So here is the price," she said. She looked at all of us seriously.
"The four of you must bind your life force to hers. If she dies, you die. If she lives, you live," she said.
That’s was a really hard thing to make is do. But we really needed to save her by all means.
I didn’t even hesitate. My brothers didn’t either. We would do anything to save her.
"We accept," we said in unison.
Mother Nyx nodded. "Very well. Go ahead and place her in the middle of the floor."
Damian picked Heaven up. He carried her to the center of the room. There was a red circle drawn on the floor. Strange symbols surrounding its edges.
He placed her down gently in the middle of the circle. Then he stepped back.
The black witch lit the candles around the circle. One by one.
We all watched in silence and I could only pray that Heaven really survives.
She picked up a bottle. Inside was a glowing silver liquid. It looked like liquid moonlight. She opened Heaven’s mouth carefully. Then she poured the potion between her lips. The liquid disappeared down her throat.
Then Mother Nyx began chanting in the Old Tongue. The room broke came windy and dark clouds foirned at ceiling of the house.
The she directed Desmond to close his eyes and direct her soul back to her body.
Heaven began to convulse. Her body shook violently. My heart was aching. I wanted to run to her and hold her close to my chast so that she could feel my warmth and know that I was her for her but I couldn’t. I had to continue to trust the process.
For a moment, nothing happened. The room was quiet.
Then suddenly, my chest began to burn. It felt like it was going to pop out of my chest. The pain was intense.
I looked at Damian, Desmond and Dylan. They were feeling it too. We were all clutching our chests. The life binding was happening.
I could feel threads connecting us to Heaven. Tying our lives to hers. It was painful but also beautiful in a way.
Then it stopped. The burning faded.
And Heaven began gasping. Her chest rose and fell. She was breathing. She was alive.
"It is done," Mother Nyx said. She looked tired. The ritual had taken a lot of her energy.
Heaven’s eyes slowly opened. She looked at me than at Desmond, Dylan and Damian.
"You’re back," Damian whispered. He knelt beside her almost crying
Mother Nyx looked at Heaven. Her one eye studied her carefully.
"She is special. She is destined for great things." Mother Nyx said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"She is the one," Mother Nyx said. "The one who will reunite the werewolves and witches. It is written in the old prophecies. She will bring peace between our kinds."
Before we could process anything, Heaven’s eyes suddenly closed.
I looked up at the black witch in concern.
"Don’t worry, she’s just exhausted. She’s having a normal sleep," she said and turned away to prepare a potion. When she was done she handed it over to us and told us to apply it on the mark on Heavens back ones a day .
I was super glad for everything. If anything had happe to Heaven than, I wouldn’t have been able to forgive myself again.
