“I’ve told you already, Alex. We can’t accept this trade—we need it for ourselves! You should know Mateo; he actually benefits from reducing those st— I’m talking too much… sorry. We really can’t,” Ben, the buff soldier, responds to Alex’s pleading.

SHIT, I didn’t think someone would actually refuse! Mateo is one of their members… does he have a strange innate skill? Damn, I thought only I could exploit them and they would be useless to everyone else!

“I’ll offer two additional Soul Crystals,” Alex says, feeling a hint of regret as he goes all in to close the deal.

“Sorry, even if you offer 10, we won’t accept this deal. Really, no offense,” Ben responds apologetically.

“...”

Dearest Soulmate, this team focuses on physical strength. It’s to be expected. Soulmate and Jewel have two more chances. Please don’t be sad—sooner or later, Jewel will be powerful enough that every peasant will obey her orders without even daring to question them.

— [Scene Break] —

“Look, I’m essentially handing over all the items you need to get the Points. Your only task is to redeem the item and trade it to me. How can you be so greedy? I’ve offered you numerous items, including the [Infused Superior Dish (Kulu-Ya-Ku Hamburg Steak)], which is powerful enough to completely restore your HP. Since you don’t focus on PHY, what more could you possibly want?!” Alex argues, slightly angered, knowing he’s in a bad position.

Stefanie looks at Alex, who’s doing his best to hide his agitation but she somehow only needs a glance to see through him.

“Hehe, how about this? One date, five of those [Infused Superior Dish (Kulu-Ya-Ku Hamburg Steak)], and I want your gun. I’ve seen you carrying it around when we arrived in this world,” a smug and excited Stefanie demands.

… I hate this woman!

“Can you please be reasonable? The gun and the dishes are worth 50,000 FC. Clearly, that’s too much, and you lose nothing since you’ll never use the po—” Alex tries to argue, but Stefanie raises her hand and interrupts him.

“Now I want another Soul Crystal. Keep talking, and I’ll increase the price even more,” she says, holding her hand before her mouth, desperately trying to suppress her laughter.

“... Fine. The five dishes and the gun. Forget the Crystal! Also you better be grateful. If you overdo it, forget the deal, and instead of a deal, you’ll receive a grudge,” Alex threatens, clearly pissed off.

“Fine, calm down. You killjoy. The date is mandatory as well, or you can forget it!” Stefanie jokes, still chuckling.

Is this woman demented?! Why does she want the date after all this?! She extorted me, and I just threatened her?!

“Heh, you look confused. Sorry, I’ll separate business and pleasure. So, what do you say?” she asks, staring into Alex’s eyes.

I’ll miss it… however… Fine.

“Deal! Meet me in two hours at Hagrid’s hut.”

— [Scene Break] —

“I’m inclined to pass. We have more than enough Contribution Points ourselves, and we don’t need anything specific from Hagrid anymore. So, while in theory, we’d be glad to use our Points, I don’t think your offer is good enough. If you want us to accept, we’ll provide part of the Points ourselves, but we want other items in return. We have use for a few items the Centaurs offer. Maybe you can help us with that,” Alicia responds with a slight grin, realizing Alex has a specific reason for his offer.

… Shit, not again! I need to stay cool. I can’t let her know how much I desire it.

“I’ll offer you all my [Gems of Corruption]. I’ll give you enough items so you’ll get the Contribution Points required to reach 5,000. What else do you need? I have various blue and green quality items, Soul Crystals, and maybe other stuff. Let me share the details,” Alex inquires and presents the items he has reserved for trading or selling.

Among the most notable items Alex lists are the blue-quality Harp from Perlah, Roja’s Deep Blue Rapier, and the three rather disappointing pieces of various blue-quality items he acquired from Hagrid, with the intention of selling them. Alex only holds back [Mr. 5’s .44 Caliber 6-Shot Revolver], which is already reserved by Stefanie, and the item he extorted from Fannlok, [Legacy of Fann], which Alex deems too expensive, as it’s a brilliant crafting item that may be unexpectedly rare and valuable in the main Realm. Lastly, he decides to offer the Deep Green-quality [Goblin Sword] as well, as it’s quite impressive, and he has ten of them left.

I have offered her all the items that are pretty much worthless, I hope she needs one of them.

Alicia carefully studies the items with an interested expression.

“I need a good sword. Why do you mostly offer blue-quality items, but the exact type I need is just Deep Green? You are a swordsman, aren’t you? You should have something better to offer, are you holding back? You’re such a tease, Alex. I have exact requirements: the gems,

a good sword, and a shield, at least Deep Blue quality. Also, I want that [Goblin Sword] in addition to that. Don’t forget, I have 2,000 Contribution Points left, which I’m willing to use for your cause.”

“Forget it! You are ripping me off. Deep Blue? Sword and Shield? Also all my Gems and the damn goblin sword? Sorry you aren’t ripping me off, I’m not a fool! You won’t get anything if you act like this,” Alex loudly complains.

This is too much. I’d still go ahead, but I can surely avoid paying this much. She has no leverage.

“Oh, no problem. I’m pretty confident Ben and his boys would also be interested in this opportunity, also they seem rather straightforward and will most likely accept my terms,” she teases with a knowing smile.

Damn… you know what? FINE. Take it all, you greedy… I need to learn to let go.

Alex sighs and slowly offers her his [Sword of Pluto] and his [Shield of Pluto].

“That’s my limit. You don’t know what I’ve gone through with those two pieces of equipment. They are peak Deep-Blue quality equipment. If you refuse, I’ll have to pass on this deal,” Alex states, not lying since his two weapons are indeed expensive, rare, and very useful.

“Not exactly what I need… but they’ll suffice,” Alicia says, acting like she’s reluctantly accepting.

Alex, however, uses Gyo and sees her unawakened Aura brimming with joy, as if it’s trying to dance around her.

This is not a fair deal… however, It still benefits me, what do you think, Jewel?

Dearest Soulmate, we will find much better gear. This is the correct decision—you can trust Princess Jewel.

Fine… let’s deal with Alicia first and then Stefanie, since Alicia needs fewer points.

“In front of Hagrid's hut… 45 minutes,” Alex informs her, his voice tinged with regret.

— [Scene Break] —

Alicia arrives at Hagrid’s hut, three minutes earlier than agreed.

“Hi there, thirsty boy,” she says with a grin.

“...” Alex shrugs his shoulders, holding back his emotions, not in the mood to listen to her bad jokes.

Whatever, let them joke! Just go ahead with the deal, then you can ignore these fools!

Alex quickly hands over numerous animal corpses, including the Acromantulas’ bodies and their [Acromantula Poison].

“I didn’t say it, but if you dare to cheat me….” Alex tries to threaten her but he immediately gets interrupted.

“Don’t finish that sentence. Do I look like someone who needs to do that for this tiny amount? Don’t underestimate me and my team. We’re on top of Tutorial Realm 4,” she declares, slightly offended.

“Sorry, let’s go ahead. That should be exactly enough, if my math is correct,” Alex apologizes and hands over various items.

Alicia talks with Hagrid and then nods at him. She walks to Alex and initiates a trade.

Alex quickly puts in all his [Gems of Corruption], [Goblin Sword], [Sword of Pluto], and his [Shield of Pluto].

Finally, Alicia giggles and puts in the item of Alex’s desire.

[Supreme Strengthening Potion]

World: Harry Potter / Wizarding World

Quality: Deep Blue

Effect: STR +1, AGI +1, PHY +1

Effect: MNA -1, INT -1, SPR -1

Note: A potion invented by Severus Snape but discarded as useless for wizards. He kept this one because he couldn’t find a use for it. It will permanently enhance your physical stats at the cost of a permanent weakening of your mental and spiritual stats.

Note: Can’t be taken out of this world. Can only be bought once per team.

Price: 5,000 Contribution points

The trade goes through, and Alex sighs with relief but also some regret.

I paid for most of the cost of the item, lost one of my Goblin Swords, all my Gems, and my trusty Sword and Shield of Pluto. However, this is still worth it. In reality, this is all stuff I don’t need anymore and was intending to get rid of sooner or later anyway. It’s just that I’m attached to those items for silly emotional reasons. One real downside is that I’m temporarily without a shield now and need to stick with ranged combat or use a two-handed sword style, which thankfully my Alexandrian Royal Swordsmanship lvl 4 allows me to do.

Alicia approaches Alex and gives him a quick kiss on the cheek, stunning him and Jewel.

“Thank you. If you want to trade some more, please visit me,” she offers, quickly walking away, whistling, obviously in a great mood.

Lesbian, my ass….

Maid Tereza was wrong, Soulmate. Stay away from that woman. Princess Jewel doesn’t like her!

Jewel then quickly climbs onto Alex’s chest and uses her web like a piece of cloth to wash Alex’s face where Alicia kissed him.

“...” Alex sighs.

Thanks, Jewel…

Twenty minutes later, Alex spots Stefanie arriving with a big grin. “Hi there, darling. Ready to trade?”

Alex sighs. “Yes, Stefanie. I hope you realize I’m putting my trust in you. If you should abuse it…” Alex tries to threaten her but gets interrupted immediately.

“I want that date!” she says with conviction, making Alex cringe.

Alex then approaches Hagrid himself.

“Lad, this isn’t a trading hall. I’m only allowing it because I like you and the little princess,” Hagrid comments, slightly annoyed.

“Thanks, Hagrid,” Alex says in an earnest tone, grateful that Hagrid doesn’t shut down his attempt at acquiring multiple copies of the rare and potent [Supreme Strengthening Potion], a unique opportunity only available to him, allowing him to permanently strengthen himself.

Alex sadly notices that his various items are short 1,500 Contribution Points, forcing him to spend 3,000 of his own Contribution Points to buy pointless items he knows can be sold back to Hagrid for half their worth, meaning they’re enough to make up for the missing points.

He then trades all of his items to Stefanie, who quickly trades with Hagrid herself, then initiates a trade and places the potion into the trading screen.

Alex, ignoring his feeling of loss, immediately puts in five [Infused Superior Dish (Kulu-Ya-Ku Hamburg Steak)] and his [Mr. 5’s .44 Caliber 6-Shot Revolver].

Stefanie immediately accepts the deal, and Alex, after hesitating for a second, does the same.

“Thank you. I’ll visit you after the second task for that date you promised me,” she says, blushing slightly and quickly running away, jumping every few meters, obviously happy about her trade.

This is the time for alcohol, but instead, I think I’ll drink my two [Supreme Strengthening Potions]!

Princess Jewel can’t wait to see her Beloved Soulmate get even stronger ❤️

Alex takes out one of his potions and chugs it down with a greedy expression.
