Fantasy Lord: Beginning with Daily Intelligence-Chapter 313 - 202: Thor’s Strength and the Nobility’s Moves
"Bang bang!"
A muffled noise rang out as Michael’s figure, after falling, struggled to stabilize himself. However, the terrifying force still compelled him to step back.
With each step he retreated, a thin layer of frost spread from where he stood.
Not only underfoot, but even on his body, the cold aura began to spread. Only the surging Life Source Power gradually pushed back this chill.
Michael’s pupils widened, his expression filled with disbelief.
Not only him, even Cheshire and Marshall couldn’t help but widen their eyes at this moment, their expressions showing immense shock.
By the Goddess of Life, what did they just witness?
Michael, at Earth Knight Peak, was actually repelled head-on by Young Master Thor.
How could this be?
How could this happen?
Yet it seemed to be happening right before their eyes.
Both instinctively glanced at Thor, then again at Michael, momentarily at a loss for words.
Naturally, Thor and Michael paid no mind to their shock at this moment.
Michael was still in shock.
Thor, on the other hand, raised an eyebrow. Although he hadn’t used the Aura of Death, only the Icy Cold Aura, this power should surpass the average Earth Knight Peak. Michael shouldn’t have been able to counter it with just a few steps back.
Being frozen for a few breaths would be normal.
"Uncle Michael, it seems you’re much stronger than I imagined."
Surprise gradually contained, Thor spoke with a smile.
Michael’s mouth twitched upon hearing Thor’s words, but at this moment, a glint appeared in his eyes.
"Again!"
With a light shout, a burst of majestic Life Source Power erupted. He once again charged toward Thor, gripping his Knight’s Longsword.
Their battle swiftly reignited.
Michael moved swiftly, and his Life Source Power was exceptionally immense.
It was evident he hadn’t just broken through to Earth Knight Peak; he was probably already infinitely close to becoming a Sky Knight, very likely comparable to Count Engle.
Such strength made him a formidable figure even among Earth Knights.
Yet as the combat continued, Michael found himself astounded once more.
He held nothing back, yet even so, he found himself suppressed.
Thor’s speed was even faster, his Life Source Power even more overwhelming, and more terrifying was the icy cold aura contained within Thor’s Life Source Power.
Even Michael had to respond with full power; one slight misstep and he’d be frozen.
This was beyond his imagination.
Thor was supposed to have just broken through to Earth Knight, yet how could he possess such terrifying strength?
Though he was surprised, Cheshire and Marshall were already utterly stupefied.
They stood agape, watching the ongoing clash between the two.
"Cheshire, come here for a moment."
"Am I dreaming?"
Marshall murmured to himself, instinctively turning to Cheshire.
However, just as the words left his mouth.
"Bang!"
His body was sent flying, crash-landing into a distant rock garden.
"Boom!"
As the rockery collapsed, Cheshire looked at the genuine sensation in his palm and then at the distant battle, his expression growing more bewildered.
"Not a dream!"
He murmured.
"Ptooey ptooey!"
"Cheshire, I didn’t mean for you to actually hit me!"
"Are you trying to kill me?"
Marshall spoke angrily.
Clambering out of the rockery with a disheveled form, he continued muttering curses.
"You should feel pain, right?"
Watching the muttering Marshall approaching, Cheshire murmured.
"Nonsense, of course it hurts!"
"This!"
Marshall replied crossly but paused midway as he suddenly realized, turning to gaze at the drill ground.
"It’s real!"
Marshall murmured.
"Yes, it’s real indeed!"
Cheshire nodded.
"Young Master Thor, he!"
Seeing Cheshire nod, Marshall instinctively wanted to speak again but faltered midway, unsure of what to say.
The scene before them was simply too shocking to put into words.
Young Master Thor, who had just broken through to Earth Knight, was actually able to contend evenly with Michael, who had already reached Earth Knight Peak.
"It seems we’ve all underestimated Young Master Thor. I finally understand why that Canaan Academy lecturer stayed in Eagle Territory."
Cheshire sighed, speaking with a hint of despondence.
"True enough!"
Hearing Cheshire’s melancholic tone, Marshall was initially taken aback, then revealed a similarly complex expression.
It was clear that both had come to the same realization.
But despite their emotional fluctuations, none surpassed Michael’s at this moment.
Engaging with Thor, he undoubtedly grasped Thor’s strength better than anyone else.
In his perception, Thor’s Life Source Power was akin to the Northern Ice Glacier, not only bottomless but extremely cold.
Even during the brief engagement, his blood and even Life Source Power seemed to freeze.
No, not seemed, but had already started showing signs of freezing.
At this pace, it wouldn’t be long before everything about him was encased in ice.
He wanted to erupt with power, initially worried, but soon realized his concern was unnecessary. No matter how he exploded with force, Thor absorbed it all.
"Boom!"
Once more their figures clashed.
Life Source Power surged, generating waves of heat, attempting to dispel the cold aura.
