Fallen for You: The Idol and His Fan-Chapter 108 - 96: Boyfriend (Part 3)
"Wearing a white shirt looks so handsome ahhhhh!"
Qi Chen?!
Zhou Huaiyi was stunned for a moment and stood on tiptoe to see inside, but being too short to see anything, simply reached out to brush aside the crowd and squeezed in.
He was standing right in front of the camera, wearing a white shirt and black pants, holding a script, and listening to the director with the actress, Xu Tian.
The sunlight was just right, slanting down and hitting his prominent nose, making his delicate features even clearer.
"Damn, why are you squeezing in?!" The girl Zhou Huaiyi pushed aside cursed uncomfortably.
Ying Yue, who followed up, quickly apologized, "Sorry, sorry."
Zhou Huaiyi belatedly turned around, bowed his head, and said "Sorry," to which the girl huffed in anger, shook her sleeves, and stood elsewhere.
Maybe it was the commotion over here, Xiang Qichen, who had been sideways, suddenly glanced over.
Happily, their gazes met.
Surprise, warmth.
Zhou Huaiyi smiled at him.
Xiang Qichen was slightly stunned and turned his attention back to the script.
"Oh my god, Xiang Qichen just looked over here," Ying Yue exclaimed, "He’s really damn good looking."
Zhou Huaiyi agreed smugly, "Yeah, he’s really good-looking."
Still my boyfriend.
Ying Yue looked at her puzzled, "Aren’t you his assistant? How come you didn’t know he was filming here?"
Zhou Huaiyi paused for a moment, then turned and pulled her out of the crowd with a smile, "Been busy with my thesis lately, haven’t been to work in a while."
"Tsk tsk," Ying Yue lamented, "Theses are really a pain."
...
While queuing for lunch in the cafeteria, Zhou Huaiyi received a WeChat message from Xiang Qichen.
[Boyfriend: When did you get here?]
[Zhou Luobu: Morning, came to see the teacher about my thesis.]
[Zhou Luobu: Why are you filming at our school?]
A reply came in after two minutes.
[Boyfriend: Didn’t I mentioned it to you before?]
[Zhou Luobu: You mentioned it?]
[Boyfriend: When I got home from work last week.]
Zhou Huaiyi frowned and thought for a while, last week...
That night, Xiang Qichen finished work late and came home at midnight. The living room was still brightly lit. He placed the keys down, took off his shoes, and looked at Zhou Huaiyi’s head buried in literature, "Still up?"
Zhou Huaiyi belatedly turned back to glance at him, "Oh, you’re back?"
After speaking, she lowered her head to continue reading.
Xiang Qichen came over, glanced at her text-filled computer, and sat down beside her, "Why aren’t you asleep yet?"
Zhou Huaiyi scratched her head, looking troubled, "There’s something I can’t figure out, can’t sleep."
He reached out to pinch her neck gently, brought her forward, and kissed the corner of her eye, speaking softly, "Go to bed early; don’t stay up too late."
Zhou Huaiyi turned her head to peck him on the corner of the mouth, her eyes smiled like crescent moons as she nodded, "Okay, okay, go take a bath and sleep, you have filming tomorrow."
Xiang Qichen, very tired as well, unbuttoned his shirt and headed to the bedroom. He paused to take a step back, "I’ll be filming the university scenes at your school next week."
Zhou Huaiyi didn’t look up, lazily flipping through her book, "Mm, mm," she mumbled.
Xiang Qichen shook his head helplessly, grabbed his clothes, and went into the bathroom.
...
In the noisy and bustling cafeteria, Zhou Huaiyi snapped out of her daze and raised her hand to reply, "[Ah, I remember now...]"
[Boyfriend: I figured you didn’t hear it]
[Zhou Luobu: Hehehe...]
[Boyfriend: So, are you coming to visit me on set this afternoon?]
Zhou Huaiyi took a sip of soup and replied, "[Too many acquaintances at the school, I’ll go home and wait for you!]"
Ying Yue looked up at her amid eating, saw her silly smile at her phone, and couldn’t help but glance over, "What are you smiling at, looking so goofy."
Zhou Huaiyi put away her phone and looked at her, still unable to hide the smile on her lips, "Nothing."
Ying Yue: "Boyfriend?"
Zhou Huaiyi smiled without answering.
"Tsk tsk tsk, a woman in love."
...
On the other end, Xiang Qichen looked at the expected reply, raised his brows, and thought for a while.
It seems the time for going public needs to be moved up a bit.
