Fake Professor, Misunderstood As Strong-Chapter 258: Risa returns home.
Risa’s car stopped in front of a large mansion, and the bodyguards opened the door with serious looks on their faces.
The car drove in and stopped near the inner door of the mansion.
Unlike the royal palace or the academy, this mansion looked more old-fashioned. Even the front garden was darker and gloomier.
All the bodyguards along the way seemed to carry a heavy killing intent; just standing near them would put massive pressure on an ordinary person.
Not to mention the guards present in the open; there were many hidden guards present that were keeping watch on everything around them.
The mansion seemed more like an impenetrable fortress than a house.
Magical defensive artifacts, illusion arrays, traps, etc.—there were so many defensive measures to prevent intrusion that it made the atmosphere in the entire mansion heavy.
Just staying in this place would make people feel tense and uneasy.
"Ugh, this is why I don’t feel like coming home..."
As the car stopped, a bodyguard opened the door for her. The moment Risa walked out of the car, she noticed a burly middle-aged man standing near the front door.
The man had an extremely heavy aura, and his mere presence seemed to put a heavy pressure on anyone looking at him.
All the guards standing nearby seemed to be having a hard time being near him due to that overbearing pressure unconsciously leaking out of his large body.
Just standing in a casual posture, he looked nearly two meters tall; he seemed like a bear in human form.
The moment his eyes fell on Risa, all the pressure around him disappeared, and a happy smile appeared on that scar-covered, intimidating face.
"Ah~ my cute baby girl~ You are back~ Papa was waiting for you! I was so anxious; you were gone for such a long time that I was very sad!"
He ran over like an abandoned dog who seemed to have found its owner back and immediately rushed over to give Risa a hug.
Seeing that overly passionate look on his face, a disgusted look appeared on Risa’s face as she kicked him to the side and dodged his arms.
"Stay away! You reek of sweat and blood! Humph, you can just go and hug Mom if you want to! I am not a small girl anymore; you can’t just come grab me like that, you know!"
Risa pouted and pretended to be upset.
"Hehe, as expected of my daughter, you are so fast and even able to dodge so easily! My daughter is a genius!!"
A happy and proud look appeared on the man’s face as he completely ignored the kick and the disgusted looks that Risa gave him.
"Ah, you used to be even cuter when you were young, though; now it seems that my little Risa has entered her rebellious phase; she doesn’t even want to hug daddy..."
"Daddy is sad..."
Risa ignored those voices of complaint and walked inside without hesitation.
Entering inside, she arrived at the main hall and found her older brother sitting on the sofa playing games on his phone with his legs resting on the table.
He seemed like a lazy bum looking at his current laid-back posture, but he immediately noticed Risa’s presence without even needing to raise his eyes to look at her.
"Oh, little one, you are back; your mighty big brother has achieved even greater heights in this newly released game that everyone is finding difficult to play!"
"I can teach you about it if you want, but you must pay tribute to this ancestor to learn his skills, little one!"
Risa didn’t even want to talk with that overly confident guy.
"Just shut up, and can you stop pretending to be all mighty and strong for once? Mark can easily flatten ten of you in one move..."
Her brother wasn’t angered by her words; instead, he smirked and spoke in a confident tone.
"Heh, what do you know? That guy doesn’t even know how to play games; he’s always just studying. I can beat hundreds of him in any game!"
"I alone am the supreme one!"
Risa rolled her eyes at those words and sat on a nearby couch.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say..."
While she was relaxing, her father came over with the same overly passionate smile.
He noticed Risa’s brother playing games, and his expression changed immediately as he kicked his away angrily.
"You just know how to play games! Your older brother is already a fine assassin and has already completed hundreds of missions successfully, and you!"
"Learn from your little sister at least! Lazy bum!"
Risa’s brother fell down on the floor and a look of resentment appeared on his face as he rubbed his back.
"Ugh, can’t you kick a bit lightly! You nearly shattered my organs just now! And why do you always favor that little punk all the time!"
"People call you a daughter slave nowadays, you know!"
Risa’s father completely ignored those words as if he didn’t even heard them at all; he sat down on the couch and spoke in gentle tone.
"My little baby, how was your trip this time? You went to the elven kingdom and even stayed there for several days; Papa was really worried about you..."
"You didn’t even pick up my calls..."
"Talking about that, wasn’t that little scumbag with you too? Did he make any moves on you? Tell papa if you want to silence anyone you are angry at, okay? I will make it happen..."
Risa rolled her eyes at those words and spoke in a calm tone,
"Hmph, if you want silence, why not shut up and be silent yourself? I am kind of tired from all that running around now..."
"Moreover, Mark won’t do anything bad to me anyway... we travelled together and spent a lot of happy time... we even fought in battle together; it was so amazing..."
Thinking about Mark a smile appeared on Risa’s face.
"Talking about that, I was just with him. We both went on a date and spent time together!"
"He’s so cute!"
Hearing Risa praise Mark so much, her father felt like throwing up a mouthful of blood.
The more Risa praised him, the more emotional damage he received.
"Ugh, my little daughter, my cute daughter who used to always follow Papa everywhere, has been corrupted by a scumbag..."
"He will take her away from papa... sigh, I am so sad..."
Ignoring that old man sulking in the corner, Risa’s brother got up and put away his phone as he spoke in a smug tone.
"Heh, I bet that guy completely chickened out; it’s been so long since the two of you got engaged, and he hasn’t even held your hand!"
"He’s a complete coward!"
Risa pouted at her brother’s words and retaliated in a harsh tone.
"Hmph, I don’t want to hear that from you. You yourself don’t even have a girlfriend; how dare you badmouth Mark? He’s a hundred times better than you!"
"Last time a girl took interest in you and confessed her feelings, you froze on the spot and couldn’t even reply properly!"
"You have no right to badmouth others when you yourself are like that!"
Hearing Risa’s words, her brother blushed a bit in shame but then the smug look appeared on his face again.
"Heh, I actually still hang around with that girl; I will soon give her my answer, okay? I-"
Risa opened her eyes wide and a look of shock appeared on her face at those words.
"You still haven’t given her a proper reply. How can you do something so cruel to a girl who likes you!?"
"Hmph, Mark is a hundred times better than you; not only he confessed his feelings to me, he even accepted my flaws and he even cares about me a lot..."
Risa placed her hands on her cheeks and blushed a bit as she spoke in a shy tone.
"We even held hands together and walked all around, clinging to each other like a passionate couple! Hehe..."
*Cough!*
Hearing her words, the papa bear could not withstand the damage anymore and started coughing heavily.
"Y-you already held hands!?..."
Risa didn’t bother paying attention to her overdramatic father and continued talking in a shy tone.
"Hehe... we spent so much happy time together and... and we even... Kiss...hehe..."
As if a sudden explosion had happened, her father immediately coughed a mouthful of blood after hearing that his precious daughter was taken advantage of.
"Yosh! It’s decided! I will go kill that scumbag today!"
"No, I will go and have a proper friendly talk with his father first! I will burn that d*mn royal palace today!"
Hearing his overly dramatic words, Risa pouted and spoke in a calm tone.
"If you create trouble for Mark, I will ignore Papa! Hmph!"
Saying that, Risa ran away to her room and didn’t even bother talking further with her father.
Her father, on the other hand, stood there shocked and helpless.
"Ugh... d*mn it all..."
