Extreme Almightiest Young Master-Chapter 2169 - 2151: Are You Sick?
Lin Feng and the group of women looked at this alien without sensing any malice from them, and they were curious about what the alien intended to do, so they let the alien proceed.
When the blood appeared, a piece of muscle tissue suddenly extended from the alien’s arm and, under everyone’s watchful gaze, it consumed the drop of blood from Lin Feng, after which the arm returned to normal.
This scene left everyone baffled, staring at the alien, unsure of why it needed Lin Feng’s blood. But then, something unexpected happened.
"Humans, we can now communicate normally. Let me introduce myself, my name is Saik, a warrior of the Dia Clan." The alien blinked its large blue eyes, looking at Lin Feng and asking in Mandarin.
"You’ve learned our language?" Lin Feng was astonished; a single drop of blood was all it took for the other party to learn Mandarin. It was truly amazing.
"This is a special ability of our Dia people; we can communicate with any intelligent life form. There’s nothing to be surprised about." Saik looked at Lin Feng and replied simply. After answering, he assessed Lin Feng and the others and continued to ask, "Why exactly have you come to our Diya City? We Dia people have always remained undersea, not communicating with the outside world, and I’m curious how you managed to arrive in this undersea world."
"It’s really nothing. My friend here discovered this place; we came out of curiosity, hoping to see if we could find an opportunity. As for how we reached the seabed, that’s even simpler. We are not ordinary people, so doing this is quite normal." Lin Feng looked at Saik and clearly answered his question.
But just after speaking, Lin Feng suddenly remembered something and asked, "You just mentioned the Dia people; there shouldn’t be only you here, right?"
"Of course, it’s not just me. It’s just that our Dia people are quite timid. When they see strangers arriving here, they hide away, just as I hid from you before. But I’m a bit of an oddity among the Dia people; I’m braver, and I didn’t hide inside the house, which is why you saw me." Saik responded to Lin Feng.
"In that case, can you take me to meet your Clan Leader? I would like to have a conversation with them." Lin Feng nodded at Saik and said. He had many questions to ask, but he knew this young Saik wouldn’t be able to answer them, so he wanted to meet their Clan Leader. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
"Well..." Hearing Lin Feng’s request, Saik hesitated a bit and said to Lin Feng, "I’ll first communicate with the Clan Leader. If the Clan Leader disagrees, then there’s nothing I can do. However, from the Dia people’s perspective, I hope you can leave here as soon as possible. We Dia people do not wish to have excessive interactions with humans."
"That’s alright. After our discussion, we’ll leave." Lin Feng immediately responded after hearing Saik’s words. After realizing this was a city belonging to Saik, he lost interest because the place was not suited for cultivators. He only wanted to clarify some issues before leaving.
"Alright, wait for me here." Saik nodded at Lin Feng’s words, casually said a brief sentence, then immediately transformed into a blue streak, shooting towards the distance. After about thirty yards, the blue streak suddenly disappeared without a trace.
"Lin Feng, who exactly are these Dia people? Why are they like this?"
"Yeah, yeah, they seem to have a particular fondness for blue. Everything is blue, even their skin!"
"What’s the big deal? Didn’t you notice Saik has gills on his neck? It means they can live directly underwater!"
...
After Saik completely disappeared, the women gathered around Lin Feng, discussing what they had just seen. They were really curious about these Dia and wanted to know why they resided underwater and built a city. Lin Feng didn’t know about these things either, so he chatted with the women briefly. Only the Azure Sea Golden-Eyed Beast was left confused, not knowing what to do...
Soon, without spending much time, Saik returned to them.
"Humans, our Clan Leader agreed to meet with you. Please follow me..." Saik looked at Lin Feng and the women and said directly. After saying this, he led the way for everyone.
Lin Feng and the women stopped their conversation, followed Saik, and went to meet the Clan Leader of this alien race in Diya City...
Under Saik’s guidance, Lin Feng and his group quickly arrived in front of a larger circular house. As they approached, the door to the circular house suddenly opened, and Saik gestured invitingly, allowing Lin Feng and the others to enter the spacious circular house.
This was a place Lin Feng and the others had previously passed by, but none of them expected it to be where the Clan Leader resided. Once inside, they discovered that the circular house was much larger on the inside. There were already several Dia people similar to Saik inside. At the innermost part, on a high blue stone chair, sat an elderly figure who looked quite old.
"Lin Feng greets the Dia Clan’s Clan Leader." Seeing the aged elder, Lin Feng realized this must be the Dia Clan Leader, and so he stepped forward and addressed the elder.
The elder nodded at Lin Feng, then addressed him, "Hello, human. I am Laid, the old Clan Leader of the Dia Clan. Saik mentioned you wanted to see me; is there something you wish to discuss? Our Dia Clan is not good at communicating with the humans above, and I am unsure why you seek me. Nonetheless, I hope that after you have your answers, you can leave promptly."
Laid looked at Lin Feng and spoke earnestly; he truly didn’t want Lin Feng to linger in Diya City. If it weren’t for the considerations of his people, he wouldn’t have met with Lin Feng and the others. Now, he just wanted to quickly answer Lin Feng’s questions and have the humans leave.
"Clan Leader Laid, could you tell me about the Dia Clan? I’m curious how you arrived on Earth," Lin Feng inquired, looking at Laid, posing his first question.
"Countless years ago, Dia Star succumbed to a catastrophic plague. At that time, all Dia people fled on their ships. Fortunately, our group found Earth and established this city beneath the sea, thriving up to the present." Laid answered Lin Feng’s question without hesitation.
Lin Feng nodded after listening, continuing to ask, "Clan Leader Laid, I have another query: why do you choose to stay underwater instead of above? The environment above is much better than below."
"Young man, you might not know, our Dia people are highly sensitive to bacteria. While the environment above is favorable, it’s also filled with bacteria, which poses too great a risk for us. Unlike this city under the sea, where nearly no bacteria exist." Laid answered Lin Feng’s inquiry, shaking his head. If it weren’t for the abundance of bacteria above, the Dia Clan wouldn’t insist on staying undersea.
Upon hearing this, Lin Feng finally understood why the Dia Clan stayed in such a place underwater, and he realized they had no intention of venturing to the surface. This reassured him somewhat. After pondering briefly, he continued, "Clan Leader Laid, during the countless years the Dia Clan has spent undersea, have you encountered any other humans besides us?"
Laid paused slightly upon hearing Lin Feng’s words. After considering for a moment, he responded, "Indeed, there were records of people visiting many years ago, but they couldn’t penetrate our Heaven Dome Barrier, and eventually, no one came. If you hadn’t mentioned it, I might have forgotten about these events."
Hearing Laid’s words, Lin Feng instantly understood the period Laid was referring to. It was likely during the Ancient Era, when many powerful beings existed. However, he was puzzled why those from the Ancient Era, despite their capabilities, couldn’t breach the blue Energy Shield they had encountered before.
But as time passed, many things became unverifiable, and Lin Feng could only keep this curiosity to himself. He contemplated Laid and prepared to ask his next question, but before he could speak, he witnessed the sudden fainting of Clan Leader Laid...
"Clan Leader!"
"Clan Leader!"
...
Witnessing this scene, Saik and a few nearby Dia people immediately rushed forward. After examining Clan Leader Laid, these individuals simultaneously placed their fingers on Laid’s head. Instantly, blue light emanated from their hands, appearing incredibly mystical.
After a few minutes, Saik and the others retracted their fingers. However, it was evident that Saik and his companions seemed exhausted, as if they had undergone extremely taxing work, their expressions weary.
At this moment, Clan Leader Laid reopened his eyes, but the Dia Clan leader’s complexion appeared poor as well...
"Clan Leader Laid, you’re sick?" Lin Feng observed this and immediately recognized the situation. While Saik and the others treated Clan Leader Laid, Lin Feng had used his Divine Sense to examine Laid’s body, uncovering an issue with Laid’s head. Concerned and wanting to confirm the diagnosis, he still required some additional supporting information.
"I’ve lived nearly a thousand years; it’s natural for my body to develop issues. Although the Dia Clan enjoys a long lifespan, birth, aging, illness, and death are all normal occurrences." Laid looked at Lin Feng, speaking with open acceptance. He had enough of life long ago, especially since the problem with his body had been identified, and the Dia Clan couldn’t treat it. Were it not for his people’s sake, he would have passed his Clan Leader position to another Dia person.
