Extra's Path: The Eternal Frost Monarch-Chapter 59: Meeting Principal.
Leonard let out a quiet laugh.
With a grin, he said, "Okay, I like this guy now."
Lyria, still trying to process everything, said softly, "You two are... strange."
With a playful tone, Leonard corrected, "Yeah... they are strange. We are normal."
Damien shook his head slightly but said nothing more.
After a brief pause, Noah spoke again, curiosity in his tone.
"By the way... I was curious... I heard you don’t like noble young masters... then why are you nic— I mean, why are you okay with me? Is it because I am handsome?"
For the first time, Arisha’s expression changed.
A faint frown appeared on her face.
With a slightly annoyed tone, she said, "Now you are sounding narcissistic."
Then she continued calmly, "The reason why I am okay with you is simple. First, you beat that idiot guy who was trying to insult a girl in the cafeteria..."
She paused briefly before continuing,
"Then... how you fought against the enemy rather than running away. Together with others... that puts you as a good comrade for us."
Her voice remained steady as she added,
"Lastly... you are exiled... no longer a noble. Just a commoner like me."
Those last words felt like an arrow striking his heart.
Noah’s expression didn’t change much, but something inside him shifted.
Then he let out a small laugh.
"Haha! Okay... thanks, I guess. Now I think we could be good friends since we are both commoners."
The others listened quietly.
With a calm expression, Damien said, "I don’t know what you have done in the past or why you acted that way before... but right now... you seem like a better person to me as well, Noah."
Lyria nodded gently.
With a soft smile, she said, "Every person can change if they put their mind into it... I believe Noah has changed."
Leonard scratched his cheek awkwardly.
"I kind of like this guy’s new personality. He was such a bas— I mean... he really had a bad personality before."
He quickly corrected himself.
Noah understood, but he didn’t say anything.
A small smile formed on his face.
’It seems my reputation is at least getting better among these guys.’
"Thanks, guys..."
The group continued walking through the long hallway, sunlight streaming through the tall windows, casting long shadows on the polished floor.
Their footsteps echoed softly.
For a moment, the atmosphere felt lighter than before.
Tap.
Tap.
Heavy footsteps echoed from behind. All of them instinctively turned around. From the other end of the hallway.
Two figures were approaching.
One of them was extremely tall, easily around or even over 200 cm. His broad frame and muscular build made him stand out instantly.
It was Draven.
Beside him walked Regnar, his light gray hair slightly messy, and his tiger-like ears twitching faintly as he moved.
Both of them still had some bandages visible, but their presence remained as imposing as ever.
Noah’s face lit up immediately.
A wide smile spread across his face as he raised his hand and waved energetically.
"Oi! Over here!" he called out loudly. "Come here, my friends!"
Leonard blinked again.
"...Friends already?"
Regnar noticed them and smirked slightly.
Draven simply looked at them with his usual calm expression.
They walked closer, their heavy and steady steps echoing in the hallway.
With a casual tone, Regnar greeted, "Yo. You guys heading to the Principal too?"
Noah nodded with a grin.
"Yeah. Got summoned."
Draven crossed his arms slightly, looking at the group.
"Same," he said briefly.
Lyria gave a gentle nod.
"Good to see you both are fine."
Regnar chuckled.
"Fine? I was better yesterday. But yeah... still alive."
Draven glanced at Noah for a moment.
"You did well."
Simple words. But they carried weight. Noah scratched the back of his head lightly.
"We all did."
Arisha remained silent, but her gaze briefly shifted toward Draven and Regnar, acknowledging them.
Damien stepped forward slightly. "Let’s not keep the Principal waiting."
Everyone nodded.
Without wasting more time, the group of seven turned and started walking together toward the Principal’s office.
Their footsteps echoed in unison now.
A group that had fought together. Survived together. And now, they were about to face something far more serious.
The group walked through the long corridor in silence once again, their footsteps echoing faintly against the polished floor.
Soon, they reached a large wooden door at the end of the hallway.
The door was grand, carved with intricate patterns, giving off a heavy and authoritative presence.
Above it was a simple metal plate.
Principal’s Office.
Everyone slowed down slightly as they approached. A faint tension settled over the group.
Even Leonard, who was usually relaxed, straightened his posture a bit.
Damien stepped forward, his expression calm and composed.
He raised his hand and knocked on the door.
Knock.
Knock.
He opened his mouth to speak. "We—"
But before he could finish. A deep, authoritative voice came from inside.
"You all can come in." It was heavy and cold.
The group exchanged brief glances.
Damien didn’t hesitate. He placed his hand on the handle and pushed the door open.
Creak.
The door opened slowly. They stepped inside. First Damien, then others behind him.
The office was spacious and well-organized. Tall bookshelves lined the walls, filled with countless books and documents.
A large window behind the desk allowed soft light to enter, illuminating the room.
At the center, behind a large wooden desk sat Adrian.
He wore a beige-colored shirt and black pants. His posture was straight.
His black eyes were calm, yet cold and authoritative.
The moment they entered. His gaze moved across each of them. His gaze was sharp, observant and measuring.
The group instinctively stood straighter as they approached the desk.
No one spoke. No one moved unnecessarily. They stopped in front of him in a line. For a brief moment silence filled the room.
Then, Adrian leaned back slightly in his chair, his expression unreadable.
His eyes rested on them one by one. Finally in a calm but heavy voice, he spoke, "Good to see you all are recovered."
