Extra's Hatred System-Chapter 47: Expression

It has been three weeks since I killed Alicia, and obviously nobody found out that it was me.

Which means that this arc finally came to an end, it was a pretty short one but the most impactful yet for Daemon as even though he had mostly recovered from her death, he still sometimes looked at the seat beside him, who was now empty or had another person seating on it.

"So, what do we do now?" I asked Mina and Sarah who were sitting on the bed.

"We could go to the garden and hangout there" Mina suggested.

"Or we could stay here and fuck" Sarah added while blushing, I think the [Sex God] skill made them too dependant on that.

"No, we already did that enough, let's go outside" I rejected her idea, giving them what they wanted would only result in them asking me for it over and over.

"Aww, but I want more" she pouted.

"You can have more later" I reassured her.

"Okay then" she nodded.

And so, we got up and left the dorm, we walked through the hallways and headed towards the garden. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝙚𝒘𝙚𝙗𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙚𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝙢

But it was then that I realized I should have just complied with their first request, because infront of us, coming from the opposite side, was Sera.

I hadn't interacted with her at all and frankly I had forgotten about her existence, she was a second year and I was a first, meaning our first encounter, even though it left her with a pretty bad impression of me, was just luck.

I believe she hadn't interacted with the protagonist yet as I never saw them argue with each other, something weird as she should have started getting involved the moment the minotaur arc ended.

"Oh shit..." I mumbled.

"What's wrong?" Mina asked me.

"Nothing" I shook my head.

But then I noticed that Sera was staring at me, I looked at her and we made eye contact for a few seconds before I averted my gaze.

"She is acting strange" I commented.

"Who?" Sarah asked.

"That girl over there" I pointed at the pink haired villainess.

She seemed weird, more than usual that is, her eyes were downcast and she didn't try to strike a conversation with me even though she must of perfectly remembered what happened the first time we met.

"What is happening...?" I wondered, of course she is a villainess, someone only there to annoy the protagonist, but her acting strange wasn't normal, and since I came inside of this world, most abnormal things meant bad stuff would happen.

"Let's go" I told the girls and we walked past Sera without saying anything to her.

Her sad expression bothered me though...

After that interaction with Sera, I immediately decided to go back to my dorm when I had free time and sat at my desk while pulling out the book where I had written every piece of information about the first year and second year of the novel.

I flipped the dozens of pages I had written about each arc thanks to the [Extra's Knowledge] skill looking for something specific related to Sera that would cause her to be in such a bad mood.

The reason why I was searching for this was because I needed to know if there was any event that would lead to Sera being in such a depressed state that I didn't know off.

I mean i'm not even sure the knowledge skill could miss anything but I still relentlessly tried.

But nothing.

After looking at the [first year] section of the book for a while and several times at that, I found nothing related to Sera other than the arcs where she would be annoying and get in Daemon's way.

"I guess it's just a temporary bad mood" I shrugged before closing the book, after all we didn't know of the character's lives other than when the author wrote about them, so who am I to judge?

I needed to think about the next arc though now that I was at it.

It was a pretty small one, the author probably just created it to make the readers excited for the next big arc, which is the second practical test.

The next practical test would happen only a month from now on, so I guess he needed something as to not make the readers bored to death by the time it happened.

Basically, in a fit of rage because of Alicia's death, Daemon skipped school to go look for the organization and gather any information he needed.

Obviously he had the adress, but he didn't know how to enter, and after a fight with one of the higher ranked lackeys that found him roaming around their base, which he didn't win as he ran away by the way, he vowed to destroy them by any means necessary and returned to the academy, acting as if nothing happened.

The fact that he got so close to Alicia that he kissed and possibly had sex with her bothered me though as he could definitely try harder even if he was closer to death, his determination was immense when it came to these type of things after all.

But I guess the author wanted to show that even the main character can't save everyone.

"I wonder what he will do this time..." I mumbled, "maybe he will actually succeed in infiltrating their base?"

I shook my head, "no, that's impossible, he doesn't have the power to do so."

My only goal during this arc is to follow him and make sure everything goes well now.

"But I need to be careful, I almost got caught last time" I sighed.

I was gonna have to use the aura body skill to hide myself again, but I couldn't use it for too long as 30 seconds was the max each time I activated it, and if I used it for longer than that, I would faint from exhaustion.

"I guess I'll just have to be extra careful" I concluded, "also I need to be careful about my use of the relic"

This little gun that fired deadly purple beams was the thing that killed Alicia, and i'm sure Daemon had the time to see how it looked like and where it came from as he immediately went to the hallway to see who did it.

If he ever saw me use it, I would be royally fucked, even I don't think I could beat the main character.

And even if I could, killing him would be an even bigger disaster.
