Extra And MC-Chapter 81 - 77 - Villain and Vixen
In the currently empty opulent hallways of Arcana Academy, the mirthful laughter of a young lady could be heard.
Her jovial laughter rang through the entire hallways in loud cascading echoes due the current situation that she was presently in.
A black-haired youth with emerald green eyes was currently princess-carrying her while dashing at a ridiculous pace through the expanse of the hallways, his face having a slightly annoyed expression.
The scarlet red, ruby-eyed lady he was carrying though, seemed to not even mind his expression but was instead, genuinely enjoying the current scenario they were in.
"Catch that damn villain!"
"He must not escape!"
"Kidnapping the victim and even princess-carrying her!"
"Kuuuh!! Dammit! It should’ve been me!"
"Curse my lucky stars!"
The voices of up to thirty male cadets could be heard in the hallways along with Caroline’s gleeful laughter that never seemed to end, melding together to create a truly weird scenario.
All thirty males seemed to be chasing Aiden who was currently carrying Caroline with all manners of weapons in their hands, their blazers fluttering due to the immense speeds they were also dashing and running at.
"You’re enjoying this aren’t you, Caroline?" Aiden glanced at the silky black-haired lady in his arms, his eyes squinted at her in annoyance as she kept laughing happily.
Instead of replying to his words, Caroline had instead let out a girlish scream as Aiden turned around a corner and dashed into the open student square.
"Kyaa!!! He’s kidnapping me! Save me brave heroes!!!" she screamed at the top of her lungs.
Following this, the boys that were chasing Aiden, had their speeds increase by leaps and bounds as they let out a few more words to motivate themselves even further to save their damsel in distress.
"So what if he’s A-rank?! We’ll defeat him with numbers!"
"Yeah! Let’s save her from that despicable villain!!!"
’What do you mean despicable you little shits?! You just want to get a chance to carry Caroline, don’t you?!’ the emerald-green eyed youth inwardly complained while moving away from the student square in an instant.
Aiden who had now left the student square, and was now at the vast fields of their academy’s training grounds, watched from the corner of his eye as a bunch of other male youths appeared onto the grounds from other entrances, all while also carrying a female in their arms.
They too just like Aiden, were being chased by about five to ten male youths each, but yet, Aiden still drew the most number of male cadets chasing him.
Glancing to the other side swiftly, the black-haired youth also spotted a group of about fifty cadets each, all diligently protecting their giant hexagonally-shaped white crystals while also firing spells at the twenty or so youths that were attacking them.
Out of these twenty youths were particularly three that the current groups protecting the crystal were being extremely wary of.
Adrian, Beatrice and most especially, Flynn.

Instantly returning the dashing Aiden back to focus were small explosions that shook the ground near him and uprooted the dirt and grass, spraying it everywhere.
Aiden however, thanks to using mana sense, was able to evade it effortlessly but following that, even more explosions rang across the field, most of them particularly focused on him.
These explosions were caused by spells fired by his pursuers who wished for him to lose his balance and possibly let go of Caroline, his victim who instead of acting like a kidnapped person that needed saving, was currently laughing like a child who just found the joys of playing for the very first time.
Soon enough, the previously calm training grounds, looked like a battlefield from hell as spells and only spells, continuously kept flying about the vast grassy plains of the field along with the cacophony of weapons clashing.
How did this chaotic scenario come to be?
Well, let’s dial it back a bit and go back to this morning, just a week after the cadets had enrolled at Arcana Academy.
As soon as all of the first year cadets entered their classes this morning and had settled down, the holographic screens of every single one of their classrooms from A-Class to D-Class had lit up at 9:00am prompt, detailed instructions on it as follows.

* Victims must play their roles by ensuring to continuously rat out their locations.
* Villains are tasked with abducting the victims.

A lot of the cadets at first, upon seeing these weird set of instructions on the holographic screens, had wondered if the academy was playing around with them.
But, just as they were pondering over the contents of the set of instructions on their holographic screens, every single one of their smartwatches rang at the exact same time from A-class to D-class, causing most of the cadets to now actually become wary of the rules on the holographic screens.
Upon checking said smartwatch, their titles came out in a pop-up form, immediately displaying each and every one of their roles to everybody who was able to glimpse at it.
For the villains, their victims were usually placed directly next to them, making the process of abducting them far easier.
Also, in addition to that, the heroes were placed quite far away from the villains, further making it easier for the villains to abduct the victims.
Aiden upon checking his smartwatch and realizing he was a villain, glanced over to his side and realized that Caroline was a victim.
Following this, the lady with scarlet-red irises, smiled at him mischievously, and immediately, without any words spoken between both of them, Aiden scooped her up from the ground and dashed out of the class in an instant, earning the envy, jealousy and ire of almost every male youth in his class.
That was how Caroline and Aiden had found themselves in the scenario they were currently in.
Now, as the vast training field had now being made into their battleground, Aiden along with other villains with their victims in their arms, continuously kept evading the spells that were only aimed to wreck the grounds and cause them to lose balance.
Caroline however kept laughing through it all, almost as if she was seemingly enjoying the thrill of being protected by Aiden.
She was also ensuring to do her job as best as she could while also having fun at it.
In just over a week that the cadets had being at the academy, they had truly come to realize just how immensely important credits (C) were.
From mundane things such as eating, using the library, training rooms and other facilities in the campus itself, all the way down to even trading weapons, spell books, food ingredients and other necessities at Sector 3, along with even buying important info, either from their seniors, instructors or even people working at Sector 3.
Having credits would get you anything as long as you had enough.
As a result, despite the sudden exercise they were given, everyone was doing their best to give it their all.
Cadets who were given the role of heroes to play, tried to retrieve the victims that were kidnapped by the cadets playing the villain while some of the cadets who were playing the villains, tried to destroy the crystals that the heroes were protecting.
It all led to an extremely chaotic yet important situation that all of them had to do their absolute best at.
Aiden who was still currently carrying Caroline and evading his attackers, realized that the vast grassy fields were becoming more and more destroyed, causing even him to lose his footing at times.
Due to this, Aiden promptly activated his [Grav Boost] spell and dashed into the small thicket of forest, present just beside the vast grassy fields.
"Wooooooo!!!" screamed Caroline happily, as she felt the wind ruffling her shoulder-length hair, gathering even more attention from a lot of the male cadets who were now boiling over with even more jealousy as they were yet to stop Aiden.
Landing on the thick branches of a tree, Aiden quickly scanned the area around him, hoping to find a place where he could catch his breath for a moment before the hoard of males came pouring into this small forest.
Soon enough, he spotted a fairly wide tree with an opened trunk that was wide enough for he and Caroline to fit into.
The youth then promptly moved into the tree trunk, resting his back on its dry, inner hollowed bark while catching his breath.
Through all of this, Aiden wondered why Caroline had not screamed again despite doing so much of it before.
The youth then gazed down to look at her and watched as she kept looking back at him, an excited smile on her rosy pink lips.
He could even feel her heart pounding in her chest as she stared at him after which she then spoke, her voice barely a whisper.
"This is extremely fun, isn’t it?" she asked.
"Only for you it is…" Aiden responded in a similar hushed tone.
Soon enough, Aiden heard the various rustling of leaves, indicating that the heroes chasing him had finally made it over.
Caroline as if on cue, gave Aiden a mischievous smile along with a similar glint in her eyes.
Upon seeing this, the black-haired youth inwardly cursed.
"Shit!"
"Kyaaaa!!! Where are you touching me you pervert?! Save me gallant heroes!!!" she screamed immediately, almost as if she had been waiting all her life for this particular moment.
"They’re close by! Find the victim!!!" one of the cadets instantly shouted in response to her scream, to which the other cadets responded with motivated roars while raising their weapons into the air, almost as if they had organized a riot at previous point in their lives.
Following the direction from which her scream came from, all the male youths who had now numbered in around the fifties, swiftly began to move towards the tree the scream came from.
Aiden also following this, immediately dashed out of the hollowed tree trunk and into the air, all while releasing a few slightly annoyed words from his mouth.
"Darn it you foxy vixen!"
